It's a good feeling when you go from printing other's models to designing and printing your own functional models. My heavily modified Ender 3v2 paid for itself just in a single part I designed and printed to fix a broken headlight mount on my ex's car from her following too closely and her car getting hit with road debris. A single ASA part, some epoxy, and a few hours of work measuring, designing, and installing the part saved a $600+ headlight assembly. Not to mention all the other things this printer has turned from concept to reality.

Dang, getting in on the ground floor with this channel, really fun video. Please make more. Seeing the imprint of the bed marks on the print brought back memories of when I started. I feel like its a rite of passage to gauge the 3D printing bed at least once when starting out.
Hey man! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. It means a lot. I found your kinetic PC build a while back and subscribed. You've got some pretty crazy skills and I'm enjoying the story telling in your videos. You're definitely one of the makers I had in mind at the beginning of the video.

Making has made me a better person. Making or fixing tools however is a completely different rite of passage.
