      @@Timelessplays I setup the lights and did the print timelapse. Then once it was finished I tried to to move anything, laid my black mousepad over the build plate of my printer and tried to put the empty drawer exactly where the part had just printed and filmed it for a minute. It didn't exactly go to plan by I kinda managed to make it work in the edit.

      I have genuinely no idea how he did it, amazing!
      Because printing multiple iterations for every height, or taking it of making a picture and puitting it on the exact same spot for the printer would be tedious as hell

    I would highly recommend getting a bambu a1 printer. The jump in quality and reliability over the Ender is soooo well worth the extra cost.

    Great video mate. Im new to 3d printing and wanted to do something similar and was wondering how you create the mould for the scissors.
    Did you use some sort of phone scanning app?

    THIS IS FANTASTIC!! as a design student in high school in my 2nd year I've been thinking of buying a 3D printer as I've worked with them and fusion 360, perhaps this was the boost I needed??

    Iteration is key, and also something I call destructive prototyping (not sure if there is a term for it)
    If I make a part that doesn't fit I end up taking some hand tools and cutting it, melting, drilling till it it achieves the the intended purpose and then I go and clean up the model based on the modifications I did in the real world

Then once it was finished I tried not to move anything, laid my black mousepad over the build plate of my printer and tried to put the empty drawer exactly where the part had just printed and filmed it for a minute.     Very intresting video and when you said cool time-lapse, you meant it. I’m actually curious how did it for fun. Did you leave the print on the bed and place drawer around the print instead of the print inside of the drawer? I’m just trying to figure out how you got the whole print in drawer while it was “printing”. Very cool edit my man! Would love to hear how you did it if you have the chance 😊
