The game didn’t forbade the use of human characters, but this Guild did. Everyone in the Guild had to be non-human. In the Web- and Light novel it's explained a bit more than in the Anime. Ainz Ooal Gown was one of the strongest Guilds when the Game was still active, but it was the only Guild with non-human characters, the other Guilds all had Human/Humane Characters like Dwarfs, Elfs, Beastmen etc.
He just need to make a magic item that gave him physical flesh and deal with his green light restrictions aura that prevent him submit to him emotional desires.
