- Happy new year! It's finally time for the reveal of my salt cellar gifts that I was making for my family. I'm really happy with the glaze I mixed up and am excited to keep experimenting with it. And I think the gifts turned out really nice too-I would love to know what you guys think, so leave a comment below!

Wow, those are beautiful and so perfectly personalized for each person.
Thanks so much! I was putting it off for so long because I was afraid of messing up but it turned out nice! 😅
I'd actually love to hear more about your glazes and experiments :)
I’ll definitely talk more about them soon! I’m preparing for my first makers market right now :)
thanks. also I'd personally be interested to hear about your journey. I suppose you're self taught? you've discovered pottery and started pursuing it in a community studio. how did you learn, how did you come to the decision to establish your own space? how do you fire? how did you choose your equipment. how long did it take you to reach your level. I'd love to hear your whole story :)
I wish I was your family!! Beautiful work!
Recognized the one with the dragon paint. 😂 the best Christmas gift! ❤
I love the blue and white combination..

😊 thank you! 🎉🎉
Just found your channel, your pots are perfect and I like your videos.
What tongs are you using?
I’m in Australia and I’ve never seen ones like that but I’m intrigued.
Thank you so much! 🙂 the tongs I actually don’t recommend. They’re a chinese model and I wanted to test it out. They’re flimsier than I expected and didn’t even hold my bowls well!
wow. I am also in my blue and white era with my pottery. Mainly using cobalt carbonate. It’s so hard to paint with them. What did you use for the blue paint?
Yes pure cobalt is impossible to see haha! I’m using 4:3:2:1 parts manganese dioxide, cobalt carbonate, red iron oxide, and dry porcelain. Try it out!
@@studiotomby omg! thanks so much for the recipe. I’ve followed you on ig as well.
@@liejmaroseno prob and thank you! I hope you can get the finish you like 😊
