The entire parking lot is gone. The Blue Lagoon's waters are being emptied to prevent lava from flowing over the barriers. This situation is far from over.
Things have clearly changed from the time we were there in June. I hope they can get the situation under control soon and people are able to experience it again without any danger.
We agree, it’s expensive to visit Iceland. I am guessing it is because everything has to be imported. However, we knew this prior to visiting and managed to stick to a budget.

I've been to iceland and I'd never go again. You constantly feel like you are being ripped off. The place is soo overpriced.
