I worked for a wholesale company and not sure if this would work at all for you, but we just had a few items for sale that we left at the old warehouse like best selling stuff and I fulfilled orders there while the other people moved the rest of the stuff to the new warehouse and set everything up. But I absolutely hated working alone, so don’t do that to someone. Then once everything was set up in the new warehouse, we added everything back to the website and we brought over the little bit that was left in the old warehouse.
Congratulations on your growth and move! None of my business, of course, but logistically, I would try to get the order packing area on the other side of the shelving in order for the packages to then be closer to the loading dock. Just saying…😊
The order packing is going to be closest to where the mail is going out which is going to be the front roll up door at ground level rather than the loading dock!
Thank you for this video! I was looking at office spaces and some of them are on the second floor, which wouldn’t be a good idea and I didn’t even think about getting deliveries. I wouldn’t have near as many or as big of deliveries as you but still even four large heavy boxes is a lot to carry up two flights of stairs.
Oh my gosh yes! Obviously every business is different, but I can vouch for the fact that I will never ever get a space where we have to get deliveries up flights of steps again. Too much lifting
We're trying to figure that out right now! We have the Paperwhite 12 coming tomorrow to test it, and we already preordered the color soft. The new size is .1" wider and taller than the current models, so we're going to see if they'll still fit in the 6.8" cases. And we're already working to get ones that will be a perfect fit!
