  • This video shows how to diagnose and repair a Harbor Freight 2 Stroke Tailgator generator that won't start. This is an excellent example of how having spark visible at the spark plug, and at the Lisle Spark Tester, DOES NOT mean that there is sufficient spark current to jump the spark plug electrode under the squeeze of compression, and ignite fuel.
This particular machine is used often, and would not restart after being used earlier in the day.

Do I see you on a Kawasaki GPZ900R from early 80's? My goodness they had evil handling even for the day. I still do track days on my 06 ZX-10R. It still keeps this 65 year old senior citizen in shape and on his toes! Cheers.

lol... That's my 1986 Kawasaki "Ninja" 600R (aka: GPZ600A). I found it in early '91, and at 60, it still puts a huge smile on my face!

@@austinado16 I've only ridden the 750 Turbo and the 900R back in the day. My 06 ZX10-R is stock and puts out 153 bhp at the rear wheel with the factory stock titanium headers, stock cat and stock exhaust under the seat. It's very stable and quite linear in power delivery despite what people might think.

Every item I’ve purchased from Harbor Freight has broken, their 💩 is not worth the price.

All depends on what you're buying, and how it's being used.

That is true. I did have a C clamp break in half. However, I have a sump pump that has worked over a year. I guess I’ll start buying their extended warranty. Thanks
