Agreed!Supermarkets are full of processed , packaged food. Hardly any fresh produce. Growing up in the 1970s, my meals were home cooked meat and 2 veg and some potatoes. This was made everyday from scratch. Fresh veg not wrapped in plastic, meat from the butcher.
Just eaten 6 eggs cooked in real butter on one generous slice of homemade sourdough bread. I know exactly whats in that, and so does my body. And my mindset now is thanks to this man! Eddie, keep up the great work Sir!!

Once you have a starter you can keep it for many years just adding more flour and water as needed. Anyway, it gives the bread a almost tangy flavour and it's a little chewy. It doesnt spike blood sugar as bad as other bread and it has prebiotics. Its easier to digest too. It's so good toasted. I fry mushrooms in olive oil, then at the end add butter and garlic, fry for another minute or two then finish with some single cream and chopped chives. Then I tip it onto some toasted sourdough that I've rubbed with a garlic clove. Heaven!

And guys, you can get lean & muscular with eating carbs I got down to 9% BF at 42. Eating carbs daily. Put your self in a small deficit . Job done . If you do t track & eat loads of ‘healthy’ food , what ever isn’t used is stored as fat. End of story

Not just the obvious stuff like the actual Kg packs of granulated sugar and the sweets and chocolate ilise but the bakery, pasta/rice, baked beans, all the juices, biscuits, cereals, snacks. Only fresh products section is safer. When I have really struggled and didn't have food with me, it's actually better to go to the rotisserie section and eat plain roast chicken.

Scotch eggs are my go to if I don't fancy till I get home. Mainly protein and fat. Not perfect but cheap, filling and convenient. Only drink water, black coffee or herbal teas at work.

I got a meal deal from the co-op today that wasn't too bad tbh. Greek salad with feta (no dressing), sugar free vita-water (no colourings or artificial flavourings) and 2 boiled eggs. Was alright. I know feta is quite salty and fatty, but for £3.50 when you're caught short it's an acceptable lunch. I have a physical job (Scottish water), so it's not like I'm sitting at a desk on my arse not burning calories, so I do have carbs in the morning or with dinner, either oats in the morning, or rice or pasta for dinner.

Those sandwiches use the same ingredients as the ones off the shelves basically. It makes no difference if I buy a loaf of bread off the shelf, and a packet of ham separately and put together myself

I for example get a chicken and bacon sandwich with carrots as a side and water. i dont think this is as healthy as i could be with homemade food but its definitely not going to lead to severe illnesses nor is it that bad, wake the fuck up (but in moderation)
Hi sometimes it's not a case of what it is but how is it still fresh to eat when it's been through the logistics supply chain. I was looking at the Tesco meal deal sandwiches and couldn't find one without extra additives and preservatives - 100% better to make the same thing yourself at home.

Exactly.. concentrated Juice is nasty! Squeeze your own fruit or eat as is! I struggle to eat when out! Greggs KFC etc are awful. I also avoid certain aisles in supermarkets you'll never see me down the juice & pop aisles.. Read all the labels and research the ingredients inc side effects you'll be surprised how bad a lot of these ingredients are... Love your direct approach 😂❤

Those sandwiches use the same ingredients as the ones off the shelves basically. It makes no difference if I buy a loaf of bread off the shelf, and a packet of ham separately and put together myself
I agree with this, although there is a wide variety of selection in these meal deals. I for example get a chicken and bacon sandwich with carrots as a side and water. i dont think this is as healthy as i could be with homemade food but its definitely not going to lead to severe illnesses nor is it that bad, wake the fuck up (but in moderation)
Hi sometimes it's not a case of what it is but how is it still fresh to eat when it's been through the logistics supply chain.
I was looking at the Tesco meal deal sandwiches and couldn't find one without extra additives and preservatives - 100% better to make the same thing yourself at home.
Whatever you pick up from that fridge is unhealthy, no matter what.
