Once you have a starter you can keep it for many years just adding more flour and water as needed. Anyway, it gives the bread a almost tangy flavour and it's a little chewy. It doesnt spike blood sugar as bad as other bread and it has prebiotics. Its easier to digest too. It's so good toasted. I fry mushrooms in olive oil, then at the end add butter and garlic, fry for another minute or two then finish with some single cream and chopped chives. Then I tip it onto some toasted sourdough that I've rubbed with a garlic clove. Heaven!
Since i started watching your videos, ive drastically cut down on processed food. In as much as i haven't become shredded overnight, i feel good. Especially in my guts. I don't feel bloated anymore. And for someone who has always felt like shit, a big W. Wake the fox up guys.
Agreed!Supermarkets are full of processed , packaged food. Hardly any fresh produce. Growing up in the 1970s, my meals were home cooked meat and 2 veg and some potatoes. This was made everyday from scratch. Fresh veg not wrapped in plastic, meat from the butcher.
Water for drink, Two boiled eggs for snack, Salad for main (leave the dressing off if you want to avoid the processed stuff) that's all natural and in the current meal deal at Sainsbury's

In Australia our biggest supermarket has a health food aisle like that. All sorts of powders, drinks, packaged soups, chocolate bars and concoctions that are labelled "keto". "Keto" is quite the buzzword for suckers.

Though she’ll also say to buy your own ingredients (if you can, shop every 2-3 days so always buying fresh and less to discard) and make it at home. You know the exact quality of food and because you cook it fresh it’ll have the max quantity of nutrients to satiate your body, build strong immunity and keep you mentally, emotionally well balanced and feeling at your peak. And because you cook it yourself you learn to appreciate yourself for nourishing your body with love.

Not just the obvious stuff like the actual Kg packs of granulated sugar and the sweets and chocolate ilise but the bakery, pasta/rice, baked beans, all the juices, biscuits, cereals, snacks. Only fresh products section is safer. When I have really struggled and didn't have food with me, it's actually better to go to the rotisserie section and eat plain roast chicken.

I got a meal deal from the co-op today that wasn't too bad tbh. Greek salad with feta (no dressing), sugar free vita-water (no colourings or artificial flavourings) and 2 boiled eggs. Was alright. I know feta is quite salty and fatty, but for £3.50 when you're caught short it's an acceptable lunch. I have a physical job (Scottish water), so it's not like I'm sitting at a desk on my arse not burning calories, so I do have carbs in the morning or with dinner, either oats in the morning, or rice or pasta for dinner.

And guys, you can get lean & muscular with eating carbs I got down to 9% BF at 42. Eating carbs daily. Put your self in a small deficit . Job done . If you do t track & eat loads of ‘healthy’ food , what ever isn’t used is stored as fat. End of story

Take it out and buy either lemons or oranges, peel and squeeze for fresh orange/lemon water. If you like carbonation, you can buy cheap carbonation machines now. Mix water with any fruit and carbonate.

Supermarkets must be different in your UK than here in NZ. The first isles tend to be whole foods. Fresh vegies, fresh meat and healthy whole foods from your deli. Stay away from the middle isles that's where all the high sugar and processed foods is.
