Brokeback Mountain è un film drammatico romantico americano del 2005 diretto da Ang Lee e prodotto da Diana Ossana e James Schamus. Adattato dall'omonimo racconto del 1997 di Annie Proulx, la sceneggiatura è stata scritta da Ossana e Larry McMurtry.
Il film è interpretato da Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway e Michelle Williams , randy Quaid e descrive la complessa relazione emotiva e sessuale tra due cowboy maschi americani di nome Ennis Del Mar e Jack Twist nel West americano dal 1963 al 1983.
Le riprese principali sono iniziate nell'estate del 2004. Mentre il romanzo è ambientato nel Wyoming, Brokeback Mountain è stato girato quasi interamente nelle Montagne Rocciose canadesi nel sud dell' Alberta " CANADA ".
In questo video ripercorro la maggior parte delle locations del film, che ho visitato con grande emozione lo scorso mese di Novembre 2021, percorrendo migliaia di miglia in auto , partendo dalla Sicilia ad 8 ore di fuso orario..

Adapted from Annie Proulx's 1997 short story of the same name, the screenplay was written by Ossana and Larry McMurtry. The film stars Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway and Michelle Williams and describes the complex emotional and sexual relationship between two American male cowboys named Ennis Del Mar and Jack Twist in the American West from 1963 to 1983.
Principal photography began in the summer of 2004. While the novel is set in Wyoming, Brokeback Mountain was shot almost entirely in the Canadian Rockies in southern Alberta " CANADA ".
In this video I retrace most of the locations of the film, which I visited with great emotion last November 2021, traveling thousands of miles by car, starting from Sicily at 8 hours of time zone ..

I watched a lot of videos and I noticed that in America and Canada the infrastructure doesn't change for 30 or 40 years in most places... they just repaint the buildings with different colors... your life is monotonous, you go to school and you see one pole that is standing on the sidewalk all his life.
