  • In today’s video we will be working on our shipping container barn. We will be putting up 4’ knee walls to support our trusses and give us extra height in the barn. We will need the extra height to be able to stack 3 round bales high in the barn. Thanks for watching!!

    I am currently doing the same thing. Smaller scale. Mine is going to be a livable space. I am trying to engineer the knee wall. So your video was great to find.

    are you using 2x4's its hard to tell?

      Yes, 2x4's and then 4x4's where the metal trusses bolt on.

      2x4's and then 4x4 where trusses attach for more meat for the lag bolts.

      no, you drill through the outer frame, there are no penetrations in the roof itself to create any leak points.
