Hi, I live in the UK. I have only recently discovered you, here and on Instagram. Thank you for what you do. Already, I have transformed the outfits in my current wardrobe using your style tutorials. What a difference. Thank you.❤
Thank you very much for your advice. Nice video :-). Please, can you make a video with the examples how to wear tights in winter. Generally it means to wear black tight...what couleur of shoes, what couleur of skirts etc.
I love, love, love the graphics you used in this video and the way the silhouettes were so easy to see even though you moved through the material quickly. Very clear! Thank you SO much for an excellent tutorial! ❤
You are an amazing stylist! I always learn so much from you and dressing well gives me such confidence! Especially since I'm an older woman and work in sales full-time! Cheers!
Love the intro with your husband! We women can sometimes be swayed by trends that are not exactly flattering 😂 Thank you for all the outfit inspiration!
Hi Diana! Love your videos. You've really helped me look at my closet with fresh eyes. I have to say that shoes have become more of a challenge for me - sore feet are no fun. So thank you thank you for showing us outfits with comfortable shoes that still look stylish! You asked us what we'd like to see and I honestly really love the way you style your current wardrobe. I would always love to see that! Maybe some of your friends would let you raid their closets and restyle their wardrobes! Thank you for all of your stylish advice and videos.
I really loved this but I wish you showed more dresses and what shoes would go them. I know the maxi denim skirt is hot this season but it is not for me - makes me feel old. I would love to see what you would pair with a sweater dress or slip skirt. Love you style and videos!
I'd love a video on the topic of undergarments. For example, How to wear a top like you have on in this video (type of bra or do you use something to move the straps), and other important considerations with other undergarments. Thank you. I really appreciate your videos.
I wear tall boots and hikers in the winter. I also wear Blundstones (from Australia, very comfortable) along with chelsea boots from Bueno and Josef Seibel. I look for comfort first, and I can still look and feel amazing, which is my style philosophy. I don't follow style "rules" and trends. I like to support local businesses as much as possible (more of a challenge with shoe stores).
I have rheumatoid arthritis and are unable to wear heels. I can wear a slight platform but I need support so scrappy is out. What do you suggest for super feminine skirts and dresses which I still want to wear . Thank you
It depends which look you want to achieve. I prefer to wear feminine dresses and skirts with knee high boots, especially in colder weather. If you prefer something more feminine ballet flats is an option. Trainers work for more modern look.
Hi gorgeous, thanks for the video! I ask you how I can best combine my Balenciaga Triple S: as they are so chunky, do you recommend with skinny pants? As I fear they can appear even bigger than they are... that's why I usually wear them with wide tailored pants, also to hide them a bit... I'd really appreciate your advice, if possible. Thank you very very much Gemma (Italy).
I’d go for slim fit jeans slightly cropped or more tailored sleek trousers again cropped with some cool socks. Or midi dress/skirt in fluid looks nice on the contrast.
Thank you. Choosing shoes to go with certain clothes is very difficult. I have sensitive feet, and I'm 69, so fashion and comfort are both important to me.

Lots of petite clothing channels suggest to always leave some skin out when wearing ankle boots instead of covering the boots to look taller, I’m so confused 😩😩😩
I'm not following any petite-focused fashion channel, but I haven't been given advice like that from any fashion influencer that I've followed. They would advice against showing any skin when wearing ankle boots, even when wearing midi skirts, as it cuts off the leg and won't look flattering.
I think there is a difference between being short and being petit, and this definitely has an effect on which approach is to be taken regarding the composition of an outfit. For instance with ankle boots and pant hems - if a person is slim, and also below average height, they can get away with either cuffing the pant or allowing a sliver of skin to show just above the top of the boot, in the same way an average height person can. However, if a person has a stockier frame, and is also below average height, they would benefit more from having no separation between the boot and the pant, with these preferably being of the same colour, to create a continuous visual path for the eye. The former body type can be thought of as essentially being a miniature version of an average height person, and so can follow similar compositional rules. Whereas the latter body type can be though of as being compacted / foreshortened, and therefore would need to employ compositional strategies that create an illusion of length. One body shape characteristic that differentiates a petit person from a short person would be their circumference vs. their inseam measurements. A body with an inseam measurement that exceeds the measurement of it’s circumference at its widest point will appear longer overall, regardless of actual total body height.
@@magnificalux I don't have many knee boots. Sometimes I might wear ankle boots with midi skirts, but I'll match tights to the boots so they are almost invisible.
I hope to never wear a jeans because it makes me very inconfortable but I steel wear it because I don't know what I can wear casually please help me🙏 😮 thankyou Dear Diana for your help ♥️
Thanks for this video! I skipped almost the entire first part, as I don't wear sneakers (except in summer on vacation with shorts), or cowboy-style ankle boots. What interests me in autumn and winter are mainly boots. And I deeply deplore this fashion that even boots are worn too big, around the calf and ankle. I find it horrible. It looks like a heron hunting frogs in the water with fishing boots🤣. And having long, slender legs, I find myself 100 times more beautiful and elegant with boots fitted (max. 2 cm wider than my calf) to the shape of my legs. But this so-called trend is once again nothing more than a gimmick by the fashion industry to sell more. One size fits all, so the biggest among us - and they are the majority - can no longer complain about not finding boots they can fit in 🤨. And the others, fine and thin (or average) unfortunately cannot find anything else!! We try to persuade them that it's fashionable and that it's nice to wear everything (same problem with clothes) too big. Oversized! 😝
It was to me the best outfit of the video. I love white ankle boots and kneehigh boots (but not too wide) they really can look very good also with thin navy thights, if the rest of the outfit has also navy in it.
@Catherine, did you get the message of Diana? If her grandmother and you have the same opinion about wearing trainers with suits? Then you are old and just know nothing about what looks good in fashion and what doesn't. Because older women can't have just a sane feeling of esthetic. 🙄🤣
@@nelly8592That’s a huge generalisation!! When you get older you might be surprised to find you can still be current and relevant in your views on many things including style and fashion.
Ì thank the wide ridning boots does not look elegant, the legs are som bird legs, and The Black skirt... no comments, the rest is very elegant on you and for many of us!!
@@purpleygirl100 I am shocked at the high slit in that black skirt. I wear all kinds of dresses and skirts with side slits but that slit going all the way up to her privates was just too much! I also wear mini skirts so I’m no prude.
It is extremely difficult to find a pair not tight-fitting high riding boots if you have not very slim ankles. Thus, I will be not fashionable in mine tight ones😂
You lucky one! Because in my opinion it's much more difficult since a few years to find fitted boots (max 2 cm larger than the calves and the ankles) if you have normal or thin calves. This new everything oversized trend (incl. too large boots) is made exactly for you larger women. Very frustrating for us slim ones. I deplore very much that the shoe industry doesn't produce boots in several calve sizes. From XS til XXL, just like clothing.
@@nelly8592 Now you know how annoying it's been for us ladies with larger calves FOR YEARS, and I'm not fat just taller than the average 5ft 4in woman! Even when I was younger they didn't make the boots long enough, so you'd get this unflattering strip of skin showing between the top of the boot and the hem of the skirt. Very ugly! I'm so happy I can now get into boots with my 24cm calves and get them long enough. However, I have slim ankles and don't like that oversized look around the ankles. Why don't you try Italian brands if you have slimmer calves? (I know this because my parents were in the shoe trade and ironically I could never fit into the boots they sold as a teenager!) I believe Carvela makes boots for a slimmer calf. However, Italian shoes also need a slimmer foot. If you have more cash to spend, try Duo Boots, they make them to size.

Showing some skin with ankle boots create another horizontal line that cuts your legs. So whether you’re petite or not, it will shorten your legs.
