Honestly I'd be happy if there was even one party where I could dress up in any of these outfits! When will jeans and sloppy sweaters go away for party wear!?!? (Yeah...the Upper Midwest of the U.S. has to learn to get back to style! 😉😉) LOVED all your outfits...even the "do not wear" ones are better than the awful, "I don't care" outfits people here wear. Totally agree. So tired of sloppy sweaters and jeans as "party wear". Where I live if I wore any of these outfits (even the ones she says no to!) I'd be highly overdressed! But I'm hoping to have a party to attend to dress like this 👍👍 (Even if I know jeans are the go-to attire, I at least put on nice shoes and a blazer/jacket. )

im glad you posted this. my calf skin jacket was the key piece with black turtleneck and leggings. i did wind up forgetting my shoes but at least my slippers were uggs. lol, btw folks.. im old.. i was more concerned with the apple pie and banana nut bread than my shoes.

I think most women in my community are already looking good but with just slight adjustments they can look even better. So I intentionally don’t show outfits that are exaggerated and frumpy. It’s not me, but thank you for the compliment 🫶🏻☺️

I don't like layering dinky little necklaces because they always get tangled with each other and stuck in my long, curly, hair. I can't stand that. I just wear one statement necklace (not huge) just no layers.
Wide leg pants just add bulk to an average size frame and oversized sweaters make an average body look huge. I prefer closer fitting (not tight) sweaters like fine cashmere. Not all of us are size 4. The advice about texture and tights was great.

I would tuck the shirt into my bra or use a stretchy belt to belt the shirt into an upside-down smile. I hope this helps you! Happy holidays!

The fabric of the skirt is quite thick plus there’s a lining underneath so the shirt is not visible at all. Otherwise I d just pull it in a tail on the back secured with a rubber band and tucked it inside. Or wear shapewear and tucked it inside the shorts.
