7iv is a fullframe camera with interchengable lenses (I actually filmed my S23 Ultra series with this camera), so it would def provide much better image quality with less effort. S23/24 ultras can produce great images but it will require more work with lighting, camera settings and overall you would have to spend more time in order to get good results
Just a suggestion: When you are doing camera comparison between two phones have a score board to show your audience who won in the end and show who won at stage. Oh and can you please try the vivo x100 pro and vivo x3 pro flip.
What do you mean, when downscaled to 4k or 1080, 8k captures more detail and gives more option to crop in post, so of course you would see the difference with the footage shot in just HD
I'd have less of an issue with people recording videos on their phones if phone manufacturers would add higher quality glass lenses, completely get rid of the added sharpening, be less aggressive with saturation, let the stabilization be more free and "floating" instead of being locked onto something and having a jarring movement away from the previous thing it was locked onto, less orangey skin tones, slower shutter speeds instead of a high ISO when available, less noise reduction, and more favoritism towards the zoom lens over a digital zoom in lower light. 🫤
