So calming I love the music. It is wonderful to watch this clients nails improving weekly with your kind and knowledgeable care. I bet she is thrilled. Many of us online would love to visit your salon personally🌸
I'm with you, I' love to meet Anna and MSL. Anna is the holy grail of nail care! Her clients are so very fortunate! If Anna and MSL decide to vacation in the US I'd be happy to host them both!
Aside from the damage from previous visits to another salon and biting, her nails look strong, with no imperfections like ridges, and have a lovely natural shape. Once Anna fixes her up, her nails will be healthy and beautiful!
thank you so much for your videos and congrats on 100k, Anna! my aesthetic as a nail artist is very wild and over-the-top, but i LOVE your channel for all the gentle natural nail care and education. i really appreciate your no-nonsense approach, and dedication to cultivating proficiency in fundamental skills first! as much as i love my long blinged-out enhancements, watching your videos feels like taking off an uncomfortable dress and heels, and washing off my makeup after a long day. so peaceful, relaxing, and pure.
I'm getting some Kerasal when I go back home to the states for an extended visit in April to bring back to the UK. Lupus plays havoc with my nails (most autoimmune diseases do), but your advice and gentle nail habits are helping my nails. I learn so much from your videos. 😀
I’ve learnt so much from your channel! The Kerasal recommendation was an absolute gem, my nails are looking so much healthier already ( I’ve applied it daily for about three weeks now.) That and applying cuticle oil religiously has made a huge difference, thank you! 💐
That fresh manicure is just perfection!! I gotta say since hearing you say filing backwards and forwards is okay as long as you're using the right grit, I've found filing a lot easier and the end result is better! I'd love to get one of the Erica files but shipping to the UK is more expensive than the file itself :(
How wonderful to see the improvements since last week. You have worked your magic again. It was touchingly beautiful to watch this video. I hope some day you might offer classes in person for people to maybe stay a week or two in Barcelona and learn. You are a gifted teacher ❤
Hello Ruth! I could definitely do classes. I actually used to teach classes here in Lloret back when I was teaching nail technician classes. Do you think people would like to learn how to do their own nails? In that case 1-2 days would be enough because there is only so much you can do to your own nails... maybe mani/pedi classes? Any ideas welcome :))
@@TheSalonLife Anna you could offer an online class and charge accordingly based on the length and depth of the material. You can do that via Zoom. Ppl would get a link to join the session, they can pre-register, it's great bc you can do it live, 'student's can ask questions, plus you can see the students and they can see you in real time. That would remove limitations like travel etc. The time difference between countries worldwide is what would have to be managed.
Thank you for you videos, my nails got very healthy and first time in my life also longer. Thanks to your advices and also I think thanks to Dazzle Dry polishes. I chose all my colors based on your videos 😊❤ That is the only nail polish that doesnt ruin my nails.
I think that you’re clienther nails looks so beautiful with the cnd gel polish. She will have nice naturel nails. Can’t wait to see you’re clients nail in a few weeks. The skin around the nails looks healthy. Thank you for making this great video. And also thank you for the client showing her nails
My hyponychium could never be that short it's too sensitive. I got a shiver down my spine lol. Though I recently learned if I use cuticle oil and gently tend to it like the living skin and cuticle, then it will release over time and won't feel so painful. I'm gonna try it and hope for the best
Mine retracted over time, a few were super sensitive and extended beyond the end of the fingertip, now they are perfect. I believe Anna said that the issues some ppl have with their hyponychium is due to nail enhancements, acrylic, dip etc. I put cuticle oil under the free edge of my nail during the day and kerasal there at night to keep the hyponychium soft, healthy and happy:-)
Do you have any suggestions for oils other than jojoba? I bought some a couple days ago and I'm loving it, except I am apparently allergic to it! Getting bumps all over my forehead. Would vitamin E or some other oil work as well to keep my cuticles nice? I am a biter and a picker and thought I had found my solution in the jojoba oil, but it seems it's not meant to be. Thanks for your informative videos!
Hii again,, I need some advice 😄😆 I have a client that sucks her thumb,, the thumb nail doesn't grow it also doesn't hold product,, every other nail still has the gel on and every other nail has grown the thumb just seems to be frozen 🤷🏼♀️ I have only had her with me once the next appointment is tomorrow an honestly I have never come across this before! I would love your opinion
Thank you for your video. I found it very educational. Can you tell me why I sometimes get my nails to break just about 2 to 3 mm before the end of the nail bed. I don't wear my nails long, and I am very particular with my hand/nail creams and nail oil. But they still break😢
CND Shellac will fill in some of the damage and it's an easier transition to natural nails. There is still something on her nails so she will be less likely to pick. Her nails are very thick and strong and I felt like Shellac is an option for her and that's what she wanted to try. We might transition to Nail Glow too... depends on the client.
i have a question about nail polises... could you make a video of how you store youre nail polishes? i do my nails at home, but after some time, if i am not using some polishes they get very thick and hard to distribute evenly on my nail.... any advice? dont want to throw them away, besause i have some favorite colors. youre polishes always look freshly opened. love youre videos, i have learned so mutch from them. sorry for my bad grammer❤❤❤
I'm going to try a very light pink and base top coat ect to keep something in my nails my eczema has flared up again on my left ring finger I also wash my hands with my engagement ring on dame finger

Just wanted to say I enjoy your videos, but I recommend glass nail files. You don't have to use a buffer because when you file with the glass ones, it's always a smooth finish and it helps prevent the rough nail edges. ✨️🫶🏼💚

Hi Heather!
Are your nails very flexible or hard? Are they damaged?
Mine do the same I can get them long then if I bend one it gets a line in it or it chips if my nails are sqaure
My nails are hard.
Why shellac instead of polish like Dior glow? Good information.

Hi Anna, can you please recommend home made ingredients as a good scrub for the nails? Thanks
Hi Kelly, why would you want to scrub your nails? Honest question. :) What are you trying to achieve?
How do you locate a salon that uses this method with CND? Beautiful work!
I'm going to try a very light pink and base top coat ect to keep something in my nails my eczema has flared up again on my left ring finger I also wash my hands with my engagement ring on dame finger

Can I just use nail clippers to shorten or do the nails need to be smoothed with a file?
It's difficult to shape the nails with a clipper. Also it's risky to use a clipper to get nails this short because you can nick the hyponychium.
