just got mine paper tuned! just waiting on the peep and then its time to sight it in. Tested the speed at 80% letoff, 28" draw and 71lbs, got an average of 287fps on 459 grain arrows. I did get a high 298fps but it was kinda dim in my basement so it may be a little off, will test again when its nice out.

Dude thank you for the long form video on bow setup. Seriously i feel that 45 min is the shortest you can make a video about taking an out of the box bow and set it up to bullet holes. (Extra credit for bare shaft turning!) thanks again for the info/entertainment bud.
You have the ABB on there yet? Hope you do more vids on this bow. I know usually hoyts factory strings aren't the best, was it the case for these ones?

congratulation, great set up, I have a ventum pro 30 and its almost set up, I have check the cams they on timin, I used the rule to get the nock point , I´ve instaled a QAD ultrares R2 but the fletching slide the rest tab in every shot, so what can I do to fix this frustraiting issue?

I had to buy my side mount bracket it did not come with my rx5 ultra.
I thought new hbx cam handles like 25.5 to 30 not two different mods? I have 2019 Hoyt nitrux I think I want vxr any way peace bro
I bought this same bow and came out of a Hoyt magnatec (20 year old bow). It’s literally just as loud as the old one. Personally I’m a little disappointed. But other than that I’m happy I’m looking into other tricks to quiet it down. I think outta the box it’s 98db I wish it was 96db

@@voxpopuli905 I should probably sell both my bows and get something new. I haven’t hunted in two seasons now. I’m determined this year to finish remodeling my house for the most part so I can have a life again.
@@seabass22 i actually spent my youth into motocross and was never into this. I also just knew for a fact I could never just sit still long enough and do what was necessary to get it done. But 2018 I had already be doing archery and was really getting into that. Finally decided that I wanted to find out if I was badass enough to get that close to such a clever animal as a deer. So I got my license and went for it. Failed hard first season. But I got redemption during the bing bang season of course. I had a rough go of it until 2021. And this past season I completely tagged out the first week. A pretty substantial 9 point buck. If I had waited until next year, this guy woulda been a monster. And that’s what I’m gonna concentrate on now.
I love this shit. Even motocross can’t touch the adrenaline rush that comes when a buck walks under your stand. And the rest of the year just shooting the bow is therapeutic. Don’t let anything get in the way of your archery or hunting season. There’s always time, there’s always a way to work it into the schedule. It’s a necessity and quite frankly it’s changed my life

I pre cut mine at about 4 1/2", makes a perfect 1/2' d loop every time
