    You are one of the most underrated astrophotographers! This video was so well made and gave just the right amount of info needed for beginners just starting out on deep sky astrophotography ❤️🌌

      Really? Stars are bloated. Color rendition is nothing special; actually nothing at all. Resolution is not high. What remains.

      @anata5127 It's important to remember that everyone starts somewhere. This video provides a solid foundation for beginners and helps them get started with deep sky astrophotography. Criticism can be great, but let's also acknowledge the effort and valuable information shared. Improvements come with practice and experience.

    I own this. Bought it on pre-sale. I don't really care that it's 6.9 as I do 300 sec exposures anyway. It does produce great images I find. I did push it to 900 second exposure on the Eagle Nebula. Just a single image. I was surprised on how good the image came out. I definitely would recommend this scope to anyone looking for a nice budget friendly scope. Great video!!! Clear skies!!!!!

    This seems like a well built option for low cost astrophotography. I have the 107phq and Askar indeed produces parts that punch way above their price point.

    the hardwired subtitles are a distraction, I'd rather the choice rather than being forced to look at it

      I apologize for that. I had those on there because i was asked by some Chinese friends to display them, I'll make sure I dont have them on next time!

    no matter what type of telescope you have if you don't have a good camera there is no way you are going to get any kind of decent image

    Yes, you need expensive equipment. You will get better photos (much better photos!) with Epsilon 130D than those “wonder scopes” from Askar, Celestron, etc.

    • @ScottCastrophotography
      @ScottCastrophotography  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Well yes clearly you will get a better image with a 130mm aperture f/3.3 than a 70mm aperture f/6.9, but this is still a very good choice especially because of the price point for beginners

      Is this a fair comparison? Takahashi Epsilon 130D costs 2530 gbp sterling from First Light Optics. Maybe we should use the JWST as a comparison, spend 16 Billion and then 30 billion launching it into space!
