I'm an exclusively microstakes player and it only makes sense that the rake be (relatively) lower on higher stakes. This could also be a publicity stunt. I mean look how many people are making videos about them
Isn't it already dead?
There are 50 ways to cheat at online poker ; ghosting, multi accounts, collusion, ECT....now the sites are going to steal your money also... geez
5kNL? Lol you have the wrong audience here
this seems like #RichPeopleProblems to me. $5knl..lol most of us havent played anywhere near that limit.
businesses aren't charities. the poker world's been through this before. not a surprise. same old story.
Time to play on Stars then.
So they want to fold the high stakes games because the pros skin the fish too quickly. Replenishing recreational high stakes players is expensive.
90% of the money is in MTT's anyway
Good riddance. The history of Online poker is rife with thieving Site Operators, bots, multi-accounting, account sharing, team play, and other greasy tactics. Anybody that thinks they're playing a fair game is just delusional.
online poker should never have existed.... it is rigged -_-'
i agree... this game is supposed to be played live... all of this multitabling and solvers and so forth... u just have to play a ton and study with solver and wait for the score to hit... wtf is that?!... so souless and boring... and it obviously opens up doors to all sorts of scams and schemes etc. it has killed the essence of the game. plus its much much more fun and enjoyable to play live! online poker absolutely fcking SUX
Yes they kill not u guys using trackers
They are making as much as they can before AI takes all y'all's money 🤑
I think you clickbait.
Online pretty much dead in ontario
They have Niagara with literally never closes. There poker is 24/7, games NL500 and NL1000 so makes sense.
@@belltonix3614 a stretch for some people to travel to I'd imagine
@@HenriqueJoness what does that allow you to do?
Online poker died a long time ago
You mean cash games, mtts are flying
Hahahahaha
Always the high stakes bum hunters cry when shit hits the fan... on micros it's 12... why not advocate that low stakes rake is lowered? How are people supposed to climb up stakes when gg takes everything from everyone.
I'm an exclusively microstakes player and it only makes sense that the rake be (relatively) lower on higher stakes. In terms of providing service, it doesn't cost the casino significantly more to run a higher stakes game. In a free market environment with healthy competition, these games should cost roughly the same as low-stakes games - which means lower rake in relation to the stakes.
Why bother even playing on GG? The rake is retarded 😂 Literally play anywhere else.
Onlinepoker is dead. Time to accept it
Online poker has been destroyed since 2005ish when it was proven that all of online gambling was rigged.. sorry to be that obv guy
🤡🤡🤡
Link to this info please. Just wanna learn
100% it's been rigged..... Of course certain players are selected.
Yes of course, this guy who is talking in video also selected. Still complaining
@@blaz3ofglory570 stop being lazy and over confident actually study the game
Stop playing online in general. Quietly have home /private games but don’t text about it
More rake is better!
FKGG
Might have killed it for you, doesnt bother me in the slightest playing low stakes for fun.
If it makes anyone feel better, online poker is rigged RNG/ALGORITHMS. Maybe it's the best thing for poker
Might make you feel better, but it's just not true. Maybe it's the best thing for you to believe that though
@@BrapNeeflap don't be upset that you're playing rigged poker. There's still time to leave your house for once and go to a casino..
@@baby_boi123 ok Daryl, don't be afraid to get help when gambling at the casino becomes a problem for you too x
@@baby_boi123 although you will probably say it's bad luck/collusion; it's the classic excuses from losing players, absolutely anything before blaming themselves.
Every site has players that claim it's rigged, do the maths (although that's not your strength) if you did think about it properly you'd see why it doesn't even make sense for the sites to rig the games!
@@baby_boi123 rigged in my favour! (After studying hard!)
It's not my game it's not my problem...ACR...busta..
Just transition to PLO, thank me later
Rake is even higher lol
I'm delighted the regs will be boycotting it. Now I can have a bit more fun playing poker without being just destroyed all the time.
And be destroyed by rake instead of regs lol.
@@BWOOHAHAHAAA I don’t mind. I can still win hands against players. Higher rake is far less frustrating than these alien wizards that crush you every hand
You think it's not worth pursuing poker for a couple hunder K a year? You must live in central Manhattan 😂
MORE RAKE IS BETTER !!!!!
clickbait
gg poker mtt。sometimes they guarantee how much money ,but not enough players, they just shut this game down。really ugly for gg poker😅
Dude, if you are making $200-300k a year playing poker you are in the top 5.7% of earners in America😆😂🤣
Poker incomes are not evenly distributed. If the top players make $200k, the average pro will make maybe 10% of that if they're lucky. Given the risks involved, there is no reason to get into poker if the ceiling is this low.
@@mobiuspoker I agree. But, my comment was based on what you said starting at 12m30s.
Which I think what I said stands.
P.S.
GG was ridiculous before and I think this shows a Money Management issue, tbh. But, what do I know😁
If you have a recreational player with a budget of $10,000 a month, it's in the site's interest to have them play $1000 or $500 NL and lose slowly, instead of blowing their buy-in in 2 hours at $5000 NL. I'm sure the site has done the math and determined that this rake change to discourage high stakes play is better for their bottom line. It's not the site's job to promote poker as a career path, their job is to maximize returns to their shareholders.
