    So you've created the channel, got some love and audience, launched your stat checker, and that's it ?
    You are a greater influencer in the poker world than just a product, many admire what you did at Detox (and as an individual), you also said youtube is a much better loving and welcoming place than Twitter, so why simply vanish and ignore all that?
    Waiting the next vid.

    What do you think will happen to live poker? Will it still be around if the regs drop off of online?

      Live poker is pretty safe I think!

    @20:00 Mobius Poker what about GTOx? It use something similar, you can bucket hands with low EV loss (EV regret).

      Probably will do it eventually but I don't have any definitely plans yet. I am most likely going to translate the cash game course into other languages first.

    An intersesting thing to look at concerning your concern about recreational I think is comparing it to Casino games. Sure -50BB/100 sounds like a lot to lose, but that's like -$200 per hour for a rec 1 tabling 500nl reg table. I imagine some whales are blowing cash way quicker than that playing high stakes slots or whatever and still coming back for more every week.

    What s your opinion about deepsolver, is it not a good tool for exploitative strategies?

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not used it. To be honest I am pretty lazy about trying all the different poker software out there, and usually when I actually do take the time to try a new program I end up disappointed.
      I mainly rely on my students who follow the latest products more closely than I do to tell me what's worth checking out. If none of my students use or even talk about a product, I assume it's not worth checking out. But of course, this approach could lead to some blind spots. There may be products out there that are great that my students and I just haven't happened to play around with yet, so I would suggest trying the program out for yourself.

    Hey man love your video content, and I'm interesting in your program but is there any way u can help me but I don't think u can upload hand history from betonline? Any other options to help my leaks?

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, you can use the Hand2Note HUD for BetOnline and get hand histories that way. I haven't figured out a way to do it yet if you use PT4 or HEM on BetOnline.

    Pat, what about Preflop Academy? Isn't a good competition against GTOW? Cause the pf solves that I've seen on GTOW seen way out of line

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not personally tried preflop academy so I can't comment on it. As far as the quality of the sims on GTOWizard, I don't think there is any problem with them.

    Is the stat check gonna work for the upcoming new version of H2N (H2N4)? Do you recommend waiting for the launch of H2N4 (it is in beta right now) to buy the H2Nedge license or should we just buy the current version?

    • @royston7579
      @royston7579 ปีที่แล้ว

      current H2N license will work on H2N4 aswell

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm personally still using H2N 3 until they finish H2N 4. I am not sure what's taking them so long TBH. H2N 4 is already over 18 months late.
      All H2N 3 stuff is going to be compatible with H2N 4 though.

    there are several threats that jeopardize the future of poker in the coming years. We need to analyze each threat particularly to mitigate the damage. For example: boots on apps, very high rake on apps and on famous websites, live and online clubs don't let professionals play. I'm talking about my experience!! I'm player PLO cash game

    Whats a c bet? what does double barrel mean?

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  ปีที่แล้ว

      C-bet = continutation bet, which is when you raise preflop, someone calls, and then you bet the flop. Double barrel is when you make another bet on the turn after they call your continuation bet on the flop.

    Man I really love ur perspective on the game. I almost want to switch from MTT to cash games lol. Feel left out.
    I am switching from PT4 to H2N
    For the range research.
    Is there more value for H2N IYO ?
    Or do u just prefer H2N or affiliated?
    Either way ur killing it
    Love the merch how do we get it ?

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, thanks for the kind words!
      I do have a H2N promo code, but I would be recommending the software either way because I think it's one of the best, if not the best investments I have made.
      I still use HEM3/PT4 for a simple HUD when I am playing though. Just an old habit I guess.
      I don't have plans to sell the merchandise yet. Maybe if I can set up a simple store that doesn't require too much work to maintain I will do it!

    Great video...
    For your main concern:
    Recreationals will ALWAYS play poker...People will always spend money on gambling, hookers and drugs. That never gonna change :)
    But I agree that on higher stakes it will be less stupid spewy recreationals.

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure people will always gamble, but I'm just not sure how many will still want to play poker if they almost always lose. Thanks for the comment!

    the solution to making all fish and recreatives not leave the game is to not be greedy. regulars will just have to play a bit suboptimally, even if they know exactly how to maximally exploit. just don't. it's better to continuously make, say, 10K a month, than to squeeze out that extra 3K a month but then after a few months all those cash whales stop playing poker.

  • @dustynh4288
    @dustynh4288 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Also that's why I like MTTs I think those will always be running strong
    Recs n ppl who want to gamble will always choose MTTs before cash
    Cash games r intimidating to 1st time players... but that's just my opinion
    N yeah I agree now with Ruse n GTO wizard merging it's going to be a monopoly very soon its crazy I really
    Like ruse interface n GTO wizard. So will see how it goes

    It's better to just not play holdem. Expand the game tree and play a 4 or 5 card game. A split pot game or a draw or stud game.

  • @talktokarim
    @talktokarim ปีที่แล้ว

    2nd comment gets it for free... JK - But what about the multitude of other games beside NLHE... PLO and PLO5 are entries for many players, into the wide world of "other poker games"... at our rooms, we already see a lot of other games running more often. Don't ya think a huge part of the future of recreational poker is in Omaha and Mix? If training becomes so easy to get like 70% good in like a few months... then I htink other games will open up an dhave their own wave of rec interest...

    • @mobiuspoker
      @mobiuspoker  ปีที่แล้ว

      I mean, they do call NLHE the Cadillac of poker, don't they?

      @@mobiuspoker what i think is the MOST exciting thing about poker is the 10,000 ft level...the thinking that one learns from it... that's what high level valuable. for the game and for other areas of academic life - and even real life. i coach my kids and parent differently than i did prior to studying years of poker for sure.) study, practice, training, analysis... yeah, make it all better. awesome. but then the games change to make sure the balance is kept between recs and pros. what's super different nowadays is that the pros can get better at light speed (nanonoko played more hands than Doyle's life inside of like 2 years of playing.) that just means that other games will arise, no? i know that sucks for training and tool creators' products. isn't the higher level view of training material to teach/engrain good thinking? like if Stefan is the future (and present) of exceptional players, then to me... that means the future is what comes AFTER one is trained in the modern theory/base. What can people do once they can play solid, simplified strat within a year or two? back to Uri, Stefan, Llinus, etc... well trained opponets dragging each other into the streets.
