OMG. Just when I said I couldn't buy more yarn I had to order the Corrie Worsted Hegelia to knit this sweater!! You were all out of the kits in this colourway, but still had some in the shop. I do love knitting with this yarn. The sweater is amazing. No boredom here!

Stephen, this is a beautiful pattern. I love me a gansey-style... glad to see your pattern calls for the gauge to be knit in pattern. My own experience is that gansey stitches are a completely different gauge than plain stockinette. I have to go down 1-2 sizes in needle when doing gansey stitches because however I knit, gansey fabric just GROWS huge... Anyway, beautiful sweater.

I just shared a short sleeved version in my Instagram stories. You can do some ribbing for the sleeve cuffs and just stop the sleeves super early for short sleeves. I love Holst Coast. 2 strands of Holst Coast Held together would be really nice.

I am “newish” to your channel and 😀to be here. I have a question for you: What is the sweater behind your right shoulder on the left of the screen? It appears to be knit in a dark grey. I think it’s shape would be more flattering on me. It has a wider sleeve and deep wrist band. It also has a more open neck and looser body (a very different, more romantic shape). Is there a pattern available for that sweater, I 💓it?! Thank you 🙏 for letting me know.

Hi1 I think its the same Dustland sweater just in a different color and size, maybe try to find a size that givies you the same drape on the body so it fits perfectly☺
It's the Dustland Sweater as well knit in the large size. The gauge of this dark gray sweater is slightly looser than the green one I'm wearing, so it has a nice relaxed feeling to the fabric.
