That's awesome! I was too young when he played for USC and didnt know anything about football, then lol. I became a Steelers fan because of Troy in 2004/2005 when I was in middle school (elementary as we call it in Samoa) and will remain a loyal fan for life because of him. Unless...one of my sons grow up and end up playing for another team in the NFL haha

I’m not Samoan, I’m Chamorro and my family is from Saipan. Though the cultures have different names they are very similar in many ways. This video made me tear up and it takes a lot for me to tear up. It’s crazy and extremely humbling to see that even though things for the people of the islands aren’t going their way they are still happy and grateful for life

Found out he's from the island of Samoa I remember two wrestlers from WWF that are from there. He didn't forget where he came from using his well known fame to help others hope he changed the educational system because that forms a country sports is only for a moment.

In general, Samoans are raised to be both kind and tough as nails at the same time. If they are your friend, they are your friend for life. However, if they don't like you, for whatever reason, look out, because the warrior in them will come out in full force and they will beat the crap out of you in an instant.
Troy I went w Samoa for my honey moon. A resort called coconuts. I fell in love with the people, so humble and honest and true. I went there because it was low profile and I'm a bit surfer.
