- In May, Tua Tagovailoa and his family returned home to Hawaii for the first time since moving to Alabama last summer.
AL.com was there for a behind-the-scenes look, as the Tagovailoas reunited with family and friends for a celebration-filled week.

I absolutely HATE Alabama and love it when they lose and I used to hate on Tua but after he got injured I started watching videos on him and his back story and family and now I'm happy he won. He's a really humble guy. And I appreciate his professionalism.

Oh man...I was stationed on schofield barracks. My wife and I made some great local friends. I can’t express how wonderful Hawaii is. It became our second home. I hope I can come back one day

He totally stole the entire show he ran down the fastest man in college football and strip the ball.. I love Alabama. Lived there for 5 years. Never wanted to come back to California. But God showed me why I had to. But if I can go back I would.
