Skagit will easily move into your top 5 when done. Kevin and crew are doing a fabulous job.
I so appreciate your efforts in making racing more interesting. High limit has become my favorite series and you my friend have a lot to do with that.
Already working with Casey on improving the beer garden at I-70...hearing that's the best way to jump up this chart 😂 It was fun having you in the booth and looking forward to showing you the next batch of updates!
agree on ogilvie in terms of that indoor spot, incredible. upgrades to the porta potties and general stands tho could really elevate the facility!
Great video. Arrowhead Speedway will be on your top five. You’re right about Eldora, can’t see the whole track from anywhere.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about Arrowhead!
I’ve never had problems seeing the whole track at the best dirt track in the country. Eldora Speedway.
The Eldora main grandstand is tradition imo. The same grandstands I sat on for my first kings Royal in 1991. I’d hate to see them go honestly lol 🤷🏻♂️
Great video 👍
Personal favorite is Port Royal. I do wish the campgrounds had showers like Eldora though
2 from my home state, nice!! Good video sir!
Thanks Chase. Love it
Impress with Lincoln Park. Racing facility impress with Tri State the racing there during Midget Week blew my mind
eldora should be in top five. seating options alone. not just the grandstand. the lawn, the concrete pads. How about he camp grounds with showers. how about the total number of seats ,camp sites ,parking the consession options, full bar. prices. on and on
I hope to have a high limit race in Delaware at Georgetown Speedway one day
That would be awesome
Eldora needing a face lift? Nah. It's always nice and clean, has a huge campground, great pit area, huge merch trailer midway, beer is 2 bucks and a cheeseburger is 3. If you don't love that as a race fan I don't know what to tell you.
kokomo deserves a mention in my opinion
Almost had Kokomo in the honorable section, put Terre Haute on instead
If Kokomo replaces the front stretch bleachers I agree!
The only thing about the nice grass at Lucas Oil, it seems like it takes up space that would allow for closer parking and camping. too much walking. the place is beautiful though
I love how you included Jackson a lot of people don’t think about it and don’t realize how good of a place it’s actually it is
2 from Missouri! Hopefully my neighbor at Pevely can make the list in the future.
Great video, thank you.
Pevely did make the best racing tracks list i posted a few weeks ago!
Husets definitely has that stadium feel. Cage fight at 100mph
Historical tracks like Eldora and Wiliams Grove it's hard to see them get face-lift that people seem should happen.
Weedsport Speedway is a top notch facility, not crazy about the track, it’s pretty tight, the rest is great 👍 🏁
I would be curious what your top 10 dirt track towns would be across the country and why?
I’ve only been to Eldora and weedsport on your top 10 list! I feel like I’ve been to almost every top quality paved short track but still have a lot to go to on the dirt side (though I’ve been to over 100 dirt tracks and less than 100 paved short tracks). I think Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica VA is a beautiful facility. Limaland in Ohio is another really nice one.
Perris is the stomping grounds let's gooooo!
What about arrowhead speedway it’s a great facility
I've never been there but watched this years WoO race and it looked very nice
Was there for WOO this year. Great facility every thing new and updated
When someone comes up with a secondary test tract to dial in setups plus, all of the best from the best tracks then there will be progress towards making this a competitive arena. A substantial test facility with near the same track as racing on but substantially smaller footprint would allow folks to be prepared. Yes, there will be naysayers, always. Tracks throughout this country are falling by the wayside for a host of reasons. We may all have our views/visions for the future, hopefully at the end of the day, we are all on the same page.........dirt track racing.....!
Chase-- thank you for providing the high quality and much needed alternative to the shreiking of Gibson in our favorite sport.
Could you please ask Mr. La Portly to also remove his cap as he implores the fans to do so for the National Anthem.
Ive been to Knoxville, Husets, Jackson, Cedar Lake and Ogilvie. All are great facilities.
Yay! Lucas Oil Speedway I love that place I'm there almost every weekend.
husets good for water skiing and fishing
@@Kevin-fq4hf yes, in the campground!
You've got a real good list there a lot of them I agree with. I'm 67 and have traveled all over this country going to sprint car races. Jackson and Husets have always been at the top of my list. Ogilvie is another good place as is Cedar Lake you have to include Knoxville it just has to be there. I would move Jackson into number one or number two but it's really sad what's going on there. It was one of the best weekly sprint car tracks in the nation. And now only has 4 or five races a year. Can't understand how you can spend millions of dollars on a facility and then just operate it for five races. Husets is a nice facility the seating is not that great you look at the person's head in front of you. Jackson is much much better I'd have to put Lucas oil way down because it's out in the middle of nowhere no place to stay
Thoughts on Lernerville, Fairbury, and Volusia? I haven’t been to any, but those are a couple I projected you’d at least have honorable mention. I’ve heard good things about them all.
Another cool topic you could try is best crowds/atmospheres.
Never been to Fairbury. You could certainly make an argument to have Volusia on the honorable list as well as Lernerville. I just think in comparison to the other tracks they don’t have the most up to date buildings/bathrooms/grandstands in comparison to the rest of these places.
@TheRaudmanRundown you'll love Fairbury when you finally make it
How can River Cities not be on your list?
To be honest I don’t see River Cities as a great facility. But when it’s right it’s one of the best on track products in the country.
Weedsport was the nicest facility I’ve be been to. Only one I’ve been to im surprised that didn’t get mentioned was Charlotte.
I tried avoiding all NASCAR owned dirt tracks
Figured Merced would at least be honorable mention. I’m assuming you haven’t been to Arrowhead yet.
Never been to arrowhead, have been to Merced and it is a great place! Love the racing there I believe i had it on my Honorable Mention list for top 10 racing tracks
Worst experience I've ever had was Sharon speedway. Old stands, poor visibility and rude people. I've been there 3 times over 5 years and will never return. Still love Lou, Dave and Dale Blaney!
The best keepers of the beer are at Knoxville, never a warm beer even at nationals 😊
The best track facility is the one I am at drinking beer watching sprints.
It's been some time since I've been there, but thought the Dirt Track at Charlotte was a nice place.
I tried to avoid putting any of the NASCAR owned facilities on this list just because I don't think it's fair. Charlotte, Texas, Vegas would all be top 10.
@@TheRaudmanRundown good call on the not choosing nascar facilities! when it got to number one i was like he either saved charlotte or is going lucas oil. glad to see it was lucas oil!
Like you said at the beginning you have your own opinion and you have two of them
Knoxville has no parking further spectators. Why would you go?
How many tracks have you never been to? Its gotta be a short list
I've actually never kept track of how many tracks I've been too.
Best dirt racing facility in the world, and it doesn't crack your list? Honestly how'd you leave off the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway?
As I mentioned in another comment I didn’t want to add any NASCAR owned race tracks because it just doesn’t seem fair. Texas, Vegas and Charlotte would all be in the top 10 if that wasn’t the case
Yet eldora made it? lol
@@the805outlaw since when is Eldora is a NASCAR owned facility?
Tony Stewart has a nascar connection or two, I think? Lol
And technically, vegas, charlotte and Texas are NOT nascar owned. They are owned by SMI. Nascar owns tracks, but not the ones you mentioned.
No worries, been a fan since your usac/cra announcing days
@@the805outlaw yea I technically meant SMI. Thanks man!!
The facility don’t always make the best race track. I know two or three race tracks is better than the one you got on your list.
Oh I'm aware! I've noticed it's pretty rare for a really nice facility to also race well.
Huset’s now a dump and the management doesn’t care about fans. Their rescheduling of this summer’s show is ridiculous.
Just curious what do you think they should have done instead?
@@TheRaudmanRundown Allowed refunds to those who can’t make it. The show will be a lot lighter in purse and top flight talent with HL on the West Coast.
Did you not read the fine print when you bought your tickets.
@@mno0624-hv8leyou agreed to it
@@danfoss5517 yes. But it’s a substantially different show. Like buying Eagles tickets and getting rescheduled for an Eagles tribute band. Yes, Huset’s is within their rights. Even though I’m not a huge fan of how NASCAR often handles things-if you can’t make a rainout rescheduled date, they will give you a credit for a future event
