Hey Paris, back a couple of years ago there was a Facebook page and a bloke that was starting to clean up the speedway to have burnouts/ re open there once again. Then the updates stopped and the page was deleted. Do you know anything about this?
Don't know why some super rich ex drivers don't invest in it and give something back to the sport that served them so well during the halcyon years. Its bullshit that fine complex is just sitting there rotting away. It does not look that far gone to me and would take less effort to restore than build a new one i would suggest. Dam shame
I miss it. I was a junior when it closed. Prime location for a modern track.

it was a great place to visit, i can only hope somebody with passion buys the venues and rebuilds it better than it ever was.
Thats a shame had good memories in the 80s &90s as a kid growing up now looks like beyond thunderdome really sad

my dad holds the formula 500 20 lap record there. he got it on my 3rd birthday

Man they should repurpose it to an RC Car place with multiple tracks or motor cross or something.

did u have to get allowance to go onto the track, ive always wanted to go back and have a look around but dont wanna get in trouble for doing so
