I'm so impressed with the professionalism of ricky I'm even more impressed that he didn't have a foul mouth during his interview.
What's worse cheating or cussing? Stealing hundreds of thousands or cussing. I'm not saying Thorton cheated but we all know of many televangelist who never cussed without buying the tape or pay for the non disclosure of something worse. Is cussing really a issue?

Hudson is lying. Todd said he had dinner with Hudson 2 weeks prior. Todd was already buying Hudson his equipment and wanted to save money by having a 2 driver team. RTJ did NOT want to share info with Hudson. Who could blame him?
Yeah an you know what Thornton is now part of the team with jimmy Owens so they are a two car operation now I don’t see what’s the big deal about it why he couldn’t be Hudson O’Neal’s teammate sounds like to me Ricky Thornton couldn’t work well with Hudson and that’s why all this drama happened this week and I’m not really a fan of Thornton but Ricky got screwed from winning the title on count of the nascar points ordeal that needs to stay outta dirt late model racing period cause Ricky owned an won the season last year and he been leading the points an current points leader this season again and loses his top ride and with ssi an now with another team an has to over come adversity again an the odds to get back on top to me the owner did Thornton wrong an wanted huddy back badly so really Ricky got screwed out of the whole deal but then again Ricky did this to himself an probably showed his tail I’m sure an couldn’t just took the owner at ssi an went with it with Hudson I’m not a Ricky person or fan of the guy but he’s been in the hot seat both times with drama an conversty so that leaves me with this my guys an drivers are my main driver is Jonathan Davenport and my second driver is McDowell then Owens an Tmac who I like an the young man Devin Moran who’s been hot the last two races
So if hudson says the burns are like second parents, then if I was ricky I'd assume they were giving hudson info all along so why now the big deal
Kind of comes down to, who the owner wants in the car.
Thorton and Ownes probably can communicate but driving different cars. Owens in a Rocket and Thorton in a Longhorn.
If I own the team and paying his bills, he will share whatever I tell him to share or he is history.

I am surprised there are this many teams still running, when sponsorships dry up you will see these cars go away
I helped a guy back in 2012 to 2017 era a warrior complete car without motor, Trans was $30,000 dollars or any shocks. You wander why there are now super late left in the this country hardly . You can not justify the cost for the winning. Good motors sre $60,000 and up alone.
He didn’t say when he got the call or disclose what was initially discussed. You do t know any information concerning the dynamics or conversions between any of the parties involved. Just speculation from an extreme outsiders and novice perspective.

5 or 6 years ago I talked to Don in the merch trailer at Brownstown when Hudson was getting up and going. I was very excited for them. I have to say the last 4 months have really turned me off from him and as a dirt track late model fan I just wish him bad luck! Maybe he knows best but we all remember not that long ago he was out a ride if little lady’s family didn’t bail him out! Bad luck to him!
