- Today I talk about my search for content from my old CiTV VHS Tape. Hope you learn something.
Sorry I have been gone for so long. College took up a lot of my time. But I'm back now, so hopefully I can find the motivation to work slightly more consistently.
Also, I hope you guys enjoy this video. I am thinking about making more videos, which have less of a focus on memes and comedy. This is me testing the waters with that idea, so let me know if you want to see more.
Also, also, sorry for the terrible audio quality for the first 10 minutes of this video. Let's just say, I won't be filming in the shed again.

CiTV has changed a lot since 2004, especially regarding continuity, adverts and idents. Engie Benjy Jollop and Dan was one of my All Time favourite shows back in the day. I loved watching my tape of Tv recordings of the show. In this video, I explain my mission to try and collect as much content from my old tape and make sure it’s all properly preserved. The programme would always play at Quarter Past Three right after Miffy and Friends. I’ve found several commercials and bumpers from CiTV, including the 2004 Frosties Football Challenge advert, Coco Pops More Chocolatey Advert and the Everybody Uno advert. There was a lot of content on my VHS tape, including some 2005 Thomas and Friends episodes. As well as a couple clips from Meg and Mog and the Fun Song Factory which I did not watch a lot of, but I do remember existing lol. There is also a little bit of Dora the Explorer as well as some trailers for Sonic X and Atomic Betty which I also didn’t watch much of, but they are there.
The Engie Benjy episodes on my VHS tape were Jollop in the Driving Seat, The Night Flight, The Big Sleep, Bus for a Day, Lost Horizon, A Horn for Spaceship, Snow Daze, Harvest Helpers, Snow Fun, Double Trouble, Dan Day, Boisterous Bike, anyway I'm Monobrow Man and I'll see you at Quarter Past Three - บันเทิง

Back when I was younger, I recorded tons and tons of Thomas TV airings from Nick Jr. and RTÉ Jr. But sadly, I don't have them anymore, as you were recorded digitally on the TV box and not on something physical like a DVD. The Thomas recordings I had would be great for nostalgia purposes, as the Thomas TV Airing community would be extremely happy with my Nick Jr. airings and maybe the same way about my RTÉ Jr. airings. I also remember recording a few episodes of Postman Pat and Bob the Builder from CBeebies, and probably some other shows, but it was mostly Thomas airings, as every time Thomas was on, I recorded it. I do wish I could go back in time and obtain those airings though, as I feel so guilty that I had so many airings, but never archived them, as I didn't know how to archive them back then and I didn't think they would be worth so much.
Funnily enough, I also had a lot of Thomas, Postman Pat and Bob the Builder episodes recorded on VHS. Unfortunately, they are all gone too. It's a shame that I had never thought to keep hold of them, but what can you do? I wouldn't feel too guilty about it. As a kid, you just never really know about this stuff :)
Literally Im searching for pre school CITV continuity from 2007/2008 which I grew up watching
A lot of CITV shows have been lost compared to CBBC even though it was on ITV1. I wish everyone could share these rare recordings for us to watch.
Well, CITV did get its own channel in late 2006.
I really admire the passion to recreate past moments/artefacts like this. Lost media is something that interests me, but the idea of searching seems like a really daunting task to commit to. Right now I'm looking for an old Butt Ugly Martians advert that used to scare me, but the only mention of it I've found anywhere is a post on the lost media wiki forums of someone describing a similar advert. If I do somehow find anything mentioned in this video in the crosshairs, then I'll be sure to let you know

I remember the Butt Ugly Martians but I don't remember seeing a particularly scary advert for it. Hopefully that's able to be found soon :)
I briefly remember Engie Benjy, mainly because of CITV & that one episode was on an old Thomas & Friends VHS tape I used to own. I'm interested in your journey to find the CITV lost media Monobrow Man, looking forward to the updates! 😊🙏🍋❤
Fun Fact: that continuity at the 10:06 mark was actually uploaded by the same uploader (Classic TV From 2004-2008, back when he was Chucklevision Entertainment). I remember that channel also had a lot of CITV continuties from 2006-2007 that hasn't been reuploaded since the old channel got terminated

I have been obsessed with Engie Benjy lately, and I feel like the show never had a fair chance, as they didn't even try to bring the show to the states like they did with Bob The Builder and Thomas The Tank Engine, although maybe in the long run it's for the best, especially considering what Mattel has done to Bob, Thomas, and Fireman Sam. Which video did the bumper of Engie Benjy's friends waving on the white CITV background come from? I've been curious about that bumper, especially since it has Benjy's cousin Trucker Troy who doesn't show up often.

I recall the version on my VHS tape being in full screen. Though, sadly, I don't think that version is available online.

I actually have 2 discs worth of footage of CITV continuity from 2010 and 2011, and some from the pre-school channel "milkshake" which aired on channel 5 also from 2011 which I have a separate disc of.
I havent checked whats on them exactly for over 5 years but i have a rough idea.
I can guarantee there is no enjy benjy tho 😭
