this show has been kind of a white whale for me, i remember when i was little finding it on Netflix kids and not thinking a ton about it till years later. I misremembered it as thinking of a kid with purple hair that covered their eyes, a kid who was kinda like Russel from Gorillaz, and some third character i didn't remember very well in a gothic school setting, i remembered the episode with the toilet monster specifically and those vague incorrect bits about the characters but nothing else. Thank you for covering this, I really appreciate it

it was also some what big in Australia

had a clip of from this show in my watch later list for a month, and I finally got around to looking at it. I do not regret going down this rabbit hole.

I’ve been watching this show my whole life and I’m happy that it’s finally getting some sort of recognition. I wish they didn’t sell off the puppets since they may have been able to make more episodes.

I mean, it’s garnered attention in the last few months: I picked up on its presence again after the being a masterpiece compilation that went viral like 5 months ago or something was shown to me by the algorithm last week; when i was just real little, between 10-13 or something idk, I accidentally switched it on mid episode while at someone else’s house, and had no idea what it was, but was fascinated by it, but, either because I didn’t know how the remote worked to show the title, or cus my memory was just lackluster, I didn’t know what it was called and could never find it again, cus I didn’t even really think to search the internet for it. So when I saw that pop up randomly last week it was like ‘YAAS IVE FIIINALLY FOUND IT!!!’. And no lie here: a few days ago when I searched TH-cam for the full episodes (with success), I could only pick randomly which to start with, and I hadn’t seen this vid or anything, but I STILL just so happened to pick the same one you recommended to start with. I kid you not.

Fun fact: my uni professor was a director on this, and when he told us about it I freaked out cos strange hill high was one of my favourite shows He showed us behind the scenes on how some of it was filmed It wasnt fully animated, it was gloriously filmed and used puppets!! Yipeee

Always loved this show

This was one of my all time favourite shows growing up. It was funny, creative and really interesting ^^ One line I remember is when Mitchell tells Becky to break a leg when auditioning for a play or something just for templeton to say how awful that phrase is and has to have it explained to him that it meant good luck just for him to turn around and go "Oh... Then I hope you get hit by a bus! :D"

I was obsessed with this show back in 2013/14. They really don't make shows like this anymore.
