I'd say that it's not affordable for most Russian people and even for most residents of Moscow, who happen to be richer than other Russian people. Maybe for higher management positions, people who can survive the capitalist rat race and want to be "on top". A worker who is lucky to be a very qualified specialist with a profession of high demand, with good mental health to survive in competitive environment, will spend most of their adult life to pay for this. And this place is not very warm. Maybe a good place to die from a suicide for person who seek the success in rat race. Or an another property for a really rich person who want another home near the city center or to brag that they live on Nth floor in an area for "successful people". These high rise buildings have very different vibes than me, probably this is very similar for the majority of citizens of Russia.
There are similar apartments in central London and the price in London will be £2-3m pound sterling for the cheapest. You can get them cheaper out of central London somewhere in docklands and there they will be slightly cheaper £1.2m or so. Not really affordable for anyone in London with regular jobs or even well paid jobs. Some of these towers remain empty in London and are used by foreign investors to park their dirty cash. London is where dirty money is dumped into such apartments and nobody ever lives in them.

I've been aware of these tall buildings for a while, but not seen inside one like this. The apartments look really nice and considering how high they are and how central to Moscow they are, the prices are very fair. I know i'm being a bit nitpicky here, but for people that don't know Moscow, that area called Moscow city, is almost 5 kms away from where The Kremlin is. I usually just call it "The Moscow Business Center", rather than Moscow City. I like the idea of apartment living, but I'm not sure I'd want to live that high up. For a better price, I'd pick a less iconic smaller new apartment complex but still with great views over the river.

And for that money I could get a nice house with a lot of acres. But we are all different and I am sure that those who like living like this will enjoy it.
I bet it's a beautiful view at night with all the lights
I am sure its amazing. !!!
Never buy an apartment that cannot be reached by a fire engine's ladder.
Good rules to live by!🙂
You just need to have a parachute in the closet😂
@@AzariasTMAnd a window you could open...
@@jimbotron70 In case of fire, it is strictly forbidden to open windows.
@@olegoleg9966 Absolutely nightmare having to choose between being smoked or roasted.
That first apartment is so beautiful, elegant and classy
Could you show us some apartments in Moscow in the beautiful center in the older historical buildings?
As beautiful as it is, it would be rather small for me to live there. Crazy to think that it costs so much.
Wow i love it,i would love to live there😍
Glad mr. russell is back to tell us moreabout Russian buildings. he knows alot!!!
Beautiful place, but not for me, I’m down-to-earth person, prefer to live closer to the ground.
For me, this is absolutely unlivable place. Live here is like to live in the aquarium. I would never consider a place like this as a home. But thank you for the interesting video.
I think for me, I'd be staring out the window way too much.
You are you not crazy i think you are how do you dare to treat this beautiful appartement like an aquarium if you do not want do not stop others to want you are jealous
I like a nice apartment and panoramic windows. If I were some kind of businessman, I might have acquired it. Otherwise, I would have taken more land outside the city and built myself a cozy house with a garden where I could enjoy nature and clean air. And in the city, just get out to the shops and to work.🤔
VERY NICE
Give me a russian cottage decked out like one of these apartments.
I could live on the first few floors, for sure. Beautiful!
You would still have great park and river views from the lower levels.
@@TravellingwithRussell Sounds awesome! I would live a higher standard of living in Moscow than I currently do in The U.S. My pension income would go much further in Russia when I factor in my living expenses and food. Love your channel and videos, and would love to come visit Russia! I have nothing wrong with the people, as is true in any other countries I have visited! ❤️

@@xalekceyI would love to, I have had a passport for over 20 years, I am even of Slavic descent. My grandfather on my dad’s side of my family could read and understand Russian, because he spoke Croatian. I am learning Croatian, and it’s very similar to Russian.
View's out the window looks like London 👍
Except when you get closer, it is clean and there are no crazy and homeless people, no riffraff and nobody is peeing in the street. People look normal and relaxed.
It is much better
I was kind of picturing putting my desk in front of the window. I like seeing the rounding of the river.
Wow, very nice building and apartment. I like the view.
The views are amazing.
Hey Russell what fantastic places and the mini apartments are fine if you’re on your own lovely places great video thank you for sharing ❤
Gorgeous, with a beautiful view

Russel, I am lerning English with you, I am enjoy and learn at the same time. Thank you my friend and teacher!
Thanks for the compliment.
Thanks for video! I didn' know than CIAN web site has English version.
No worries.
Cian.ru
or
Avito.ru
If you open them on a desktop, they should translate to English easy enough.
Amazing, the kind of alarm i would like to buy .The view is beautiful and the colors ate my favorite.
Hi, Russel! Could you make a review of Kazan city before the BRICS leaders' summit and sport games?
Wow so beautiful!
The view out of the window was amazing.
Nice apartment buildings but I couldn't live in a high rise building. Great video Russell.
The best video of Russell ... in history. The majority of apartment videos are fluff / hyperbole. As a serious buyer, I want facts -- not opinion ... meat and potatoes ... not cake with icing. If Russell produces more of these apartment videos, they would steer more traffic because food is food ... all the same ... regardless of the kitchen or plate it is shown on.
Incredible views, I'd never leave the apartment.
Nice...Russia is so "civilized." Slava Rossiya 🇷🇺

Nice looking places. Only thing missing is the ocean. I don’t think I could live anywhere far from the coast.
Very very nice, Thanks fot the tour 💖💖💖
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you ))
As a Russian, I prefer to live in a Stalinist-styled building. Thick brick walls, tall ceilings, oak floors, etc.
My flat in Spain on 5th floor. That was as high as I ever could live..Now back in UK after 21 years in Spain.
The views are incredible, really high rise living with style.

Thanks for the video! I've lived in all sorts of Moscow apartments over the past 20 years and now live in a house. Much better. Most apartments are built like crap and are not properly sound insulated. If somone does a bit of DIY and messes up, you are often without water. Can get annoying.
Excuse me, may I ask the region where your house is located? Is it within the Moscow region? Thank you!
Great review really enjoyed Thanks for all your hard work regards Greg
I’m not sure I could downsize without regret to a 1 bedroom apt. Maybe if the bathroom and laundry were twice the size. The views are great!
Russian don't have laundry rooms in Russia. It's very normal to just be in a cupboard or tucked away. For me, the view from this place is what had me the second i walked in.
Loved this video. I was way wrong with the price. I liked the cheap appartments I saw on another video I’d gladly live in one of those.
gorgeous apartment, russell. I hope you review the other skyscrapers in the business district in upcoming videos.
Awesome🎉 Russell, thank you for the video! Did you have a special permission to get into the building?
I was with someone who lives there already.
Thank you, Russel! Quite different from usual balalaika-bear-vodka. Lovely apartment!
My those are lovely apartments! Very nicely laid out and excellent use of the space. I personally prefer the old style low-rise because of my intense fear of heights. But for a normal person lol these as quite nice!
Loving the video series--I got hooked on them after seeing the GUM mall in Red Square🥰 ...Having grown up in the 80's, I miss my malls 😭😂💗
Wishing you, your wife and families a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year🎄🎉
I've been aware of these tall buildings for a while, but not seen inside one like this.
For a better price, I'd pick a less iconic smaller new apartment complex but still with great views over the river.
this place will look STUNNING when finished.
and yes. i'd live there in a heartbeat !.
Now we’re talking 😎

I will be joining my wife in her apartment which is on the 16th floor of her building and that is more than high enough for me. The closer to the ground I am the happier I am.
Beautiful view, not sure I could live that high up. I own a single story house. Where I live, 1.5 million would get you 10 bedroom house, and acres of land.
I'm in Canada - rent for that would be & @$1,000.00USD and $400.per bedroom extra. Purchase would depend on the floor & parking inc. " I could Live there " CD$ 72.65 to USD "
