    Could you live in an apartment this high up. Maybe you prefer a regular house over a high rise apartment. Let me know in the comments.
    I am waiting for everyone to join me in my Telegrma Chat Group to talk about these apartments a little more:

    • @abstractrussian5562
      @abstractrussian5562 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +29

      I'd say that it's not affordable for most Russian people and even for most residents of Moscow, who happen to be richer than other Russian people. Maybe for higher management positions, people who can survive the capitalist rat race and want to be "on top". A worker who is lucky to be a very qualified specialist with a profession of high demand, with good mental health to survive in competitive environment, will spend most of their adult life to pay for this. And this place is not very warm. Maybe a good place to die from a suicide for person who seek the success in rat race. Or an another property for a really rich person who want another home near the city center or to brag that they live on Nth floor in an area for "successful people". These high rise buildings have very different vibes than me, probably this is very similar for the majority of citizens of Russia.

    Oooh, so swanky! I'd imagine that first apartment would be $300-400k US dollars to buy and maybe $1500 a month to rent? Man, I'd love to call that apartment home, but I would also need a dacha in the country for decompressing. Wow, what a view! I am a bit wary of heights, but not when I'm in a building. Gorgeous apartment. When can I move in? Damn! One and a half million dollars? Looks like I'll have to stick with the dacha in a little village. But if I win the lottery ...

    My fear of heights would not lend itself well to living that high up. Half of my family is Welsh - so I would prefer a nice hole in a hillside. 😀
    I was almost paralyzed the time I went to the top of the Empire State Building. I can not imagine the people who walked down the gangplank to the "observation deck" where the dirigibles (zeppelins) would "dock" at. Even the pictures of it make me shiver!

      I live in Connecticut and my apartment has no balcony and windows can only be open 4 inches. This building layout is lower quality than these Moscow apartments and they encourage LGBTQ people which is a ridiculous gimmick to begin with. There's been much embezzlement as well as obvious bribes to politicians. I think these apartments are beautiful even spectacular.. Safe with Bo hidden construction tricks and more. My apartment is very small, about 124 sf. Only one means of egress. I have Section 8 yet they don't abide by Section 8 laws and say stupid things like, "You have two leases so if section 8 doesn't pay you have to pay" They illegally enter all the time and vandalize my apartment as poor as I am already. There will be no solutions until A reputable company purchases this building. It's a complicated matter because they obviously paid off building inspectors to bypass building codes! Yet they still call this luxury - Barack Obama organized this illegal real estate. I've lived here since January 2013 and they've had stalking police arrest me making up lies,they tried to evict me but I won the case with absolutely no monetary reimbursement. They are trying to evict me now,serving me a notice to quit claiming I didn't pay rent for August and September which is a lie and I have receipts,check copies. The society is closed-minded yet I have met very nice people from other countries especially China.

    There are similar apartments in central London and the price in London will be £2-3m pound sterling for the cheapest. You can get them cheaper out of central London somewhere in docklands and there they will be slightly cheaper £1.2m or so. Not really affordable for anyone in London with regular jobs or even well paid jobs. Some of these towers remain empty in London and are used by foreign investors to park their dirty cash. London is where dirty money is dumped into such apartments and nobody ever lives in them.

Lovely apartments with fabulous views, but I get panic attacks at such heights so I couldn't live there. I've been aware of these tall buildings for a while, but not seen inside one like this. The apartments look really nice and considering how high they are and how central to Moscow they are, the prices are very fair. I know i'm being a bit nitpicky here, but for people that don't know Moscow, that area called Moscow city, is almost 5 kms away from where The Kremlin is. I usually just call it "The Moscow Business Center", rather than Moscow City.
    I like the idea of apartment living, but I'm not sure I'd want to live that high up. For a better price, I'd pick a less iconic smaller new apartment complex but still with great views over the river.

  • @PeterGinUAE

    The best video of Russell ... in history. The majority of apartment videos are fluff / hyperbole. As a serious buyer, I want facts -- not opinion ... meat and potatoes ... not cake with icing. If Russell produces more of these apartment videos, they would steer more traffic because food is food ... all the same ... regardless of the kitchen or plate it is shown on.

    Thanks for the video! I really enjoyed watching it! Oh, and just in case you were looking for some video ideas, here's one: a room tour of an appartment of Moscow renovation program (you know, the appartments the city gives in exchange of khrushevka buildings). And if you ever happen to visit the South of Russia, it would be a good idea to make a video about Krasnodar park (it's one of the best parks in the words, and I've visited 37 countries... I can compare it only with Marina Bay park in Singapore). In Russian it's called парк Краснодар / Парк Галицкого. It was built several years ago by an individual as a gift to the city (well, this individual is the founder of Magnit supermarkets chain). Great place to visit at daytime and in the evening when all the lights are on. Amazing place.
