Where did you get that Nifty wrench? I'll be bringing my Prius over for you to do the oil change LOL!

Those Oil change wrenches are available from allot of stores. The one I use is a Craftsman that I got from my Father. It even has a magnet on it to hold the drain plug so you don't lose it. If you bring your Prius over, I will change the oil for you no problem. I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment.

Actually the Motivx MX2321 has been redesigned and replaced by the MX2320-US wrench which no longer has slots or teeth in it but is precision made to 64.3 mm to engage with the 14 flutes on the oil filter caps of both the cartridge system and many screw on canister filters.

Thank you very much for watching and writing in with this information. That sounds like a good revision to the tool right there as you can use it on other vehicles.

How close to the 5 quarts did you get? Thanks for share. Coolant flush & fill is a task.

@@GreggFesto yeah same here. I lost 10 mpg outta nowhere? I thought maybe I had to much oil?

The MPG in this car went down before. It ended up being the hybrid battery pack capacity low on a couple of the modules. I purchased a cheap OBD2 bluetooth reader and downloaded Dr Prius app. When driving the car I watched the bars on dr prius app and could see that some were performing poorly compared to the others. I then removed the pack (video on my channel) which is easy to do. Then used a charger to refurbish the pack (video on my channel) which is also easy to do. I ended up replacing a few of the batteries which happened to be the same ones that looked weird on the dr prius app. If you determine what is the cause of you MPG drop could you please let us know? Will help others.

Do high mileage oils really last 20,000 miles?

Thank you for watching. I do not know the answer to this question. I stay on the side of caution and change mine every 7500 or so.
