I am impressed by this 22 Civic. The previous generation was overstyled to me especially on the outside. I want to test the Touring Sedan version vs the Sport Touring Hatch when it comes out.
@@ronotardo Very good. No complaints or issues so far, besides a rear seat seatbelt sensor not functioning. It always says that the belt is fastened, even when it is not.
@@ronotardo Power leaves some to be desired, but it’s certainly enough. It’s quite punchy and loud in sport mode, which I enjoy. 0-60 isn’t great but it feels fast and certainly keeps up with traffic, and the excellent handling makes up for the lack of power. The MPG is great, I typically drive hard so I average around 25, but when gas was pricy I could average 35-38, 40 if I was very careful.
Loving these, really went upscale with the new gen. Going to my local dealership in June to order a '24 civic sport sedan (canadian version). Took a '22 out for a ride when they first came out, gorgeous car. Currently driving a '19 lx sedan, been 5 amazing yrs with it. Should also mention that I'm 6'2½" and I have more than enough room in it.
A Civic is not supposed to look like an Accord, and that's what the 2022 Civic looks like. People stop complaining about the over style of the 10th Gen Civic. If you like the style of an Accord, then buy an Accord. Problem solved.
@Juan Suarez so you think a car, any car, that has an exhaust tip shape similar to a HDMI is associated with a boy racer. You really don't know what the hell you are talking about. People a cars for their body style, not a how a freaking exhaust tip looks like.
@Juan Suarez I do not know where got your statistics about the entire internet saying the 10th gen looks like a racer from the factory. That is definitely not true. When people start to put aftermarket parts on, especially to Japanese cars, the car can look racy looking, that depends on the parts. Believe me the aftermarket companies are working on making tons of new parts for the 11th gen Civic as we speak. There is money to be made. The 11th gen Civic owners will welcome these new aftermarket parts and try to make their new car more sporty. Maybe not you or others like you. Nothing wrong with that either. I rather keep the car stock. Plus, resale is much better.
Thank you for not reviewing the top trim! The Sport trim is perfect, but I just wish the Blind Spot Monitor system was available (I don't want the 1.5T engine). Do you plan to review the new hatch when it is available?
It amazes me how good the interior looks for a Honda like literally, this is like bmw interior but on a civic and looks nice asf and I’m not even a fan of Honda like that
It will be interesting to see if the oil dilution problem still plagues the 1.5L turbo else this K20 motor is probably the best if you're planning to own this car long term (10yr / 100K+)
@@xavierfragoso736 Nice! Where from? I just test drove an Accord Sport and a Toyota Camry today and the Accord was the clear winner. I sat in a new Sport trim today. Very impressed with the new interior and it's spacious inside the cabin. The new benchmark in my opinion.
It is pretty spacey
