I honestly believe these new, entry level cars under $35,000 are nicer inside then some $60,000 dollar luxury cars from a few years ago. Best example of this is Mazda, especially the Mazda 3. For the price, you cannot beat the quality of the interior and the materials inside. Once I started reviewing more and more of them I realized just how nice they have become. Great video as always!
probably right but the layout of the capless fuel filler looks even easier to use with a gas can than a normal one and I've never seen a funnel come in other cars

As a former Hyundai owner, they did feel premium as first. However, gearbox issue and mechanical problems were quickly erased that feeling from my mind.
I had a used 2015 Hyundai Elantra SE it was a nice sporty car but i kept having small warranty issues with it. Nothing serious but i traded it in for a new 2019 Corrola. As a current Hyundai owner. They run fairly well even through all the recalls (grrr). After 200k on the transmission (80k on the motor) no real problems (knock on faux chrome). The "quality feel" does fade pretty rapidly over time though. The 'leather seats' in mine started to come off almost immediately with the lightest cleaning. ( 10:11 ) ( 12:29 ) Road noise: the Touring model got extra sound insulation that was left out of the Sport trim. Less expensive, less weight. 18" wheels don't help, either. It would be nice to see a side-by-side comparison of an LX (16" wheels), Sport, and Touring to see if the differences are noticeable.

Great review!! I REALLY wanted the sport due to it being cheaper and more aggressive looking (With the black trim and wheels) but unfortunately there were no sports anywhere I went. Ended up getting the touring which is nice but the extra gadgets and buttons are unnecessary for a simple guy like me. Overall, I love it! Got it when it only had 29 miles on it. As a 10th gen owner with the same powertrain, I agree it's incredibly refined and that the engine (and CVT) essentially disappear into the background. The mechanicals do their job so well that there is no drama or excitement. With the 10th Gen, it was styling alone that made the car interesting. Now that it looks like everything else I worry that the whole car is just going to be boring.
I have this car, same color and everything. Other than not having anywhere to put my sunglasses and the stop-start having to be turned off every time you start your car, like you can’t preset that, all in all, great car, and really fun drive.
The eco mode controls 4 things. Rpm is one and the other major one is that it cuts the air compressor to half use. Aside. A sport comes with leather wrapped wheel and shifter. The funnel is to put gas in the car when using a gas can
Update : I have ordered one of these bad boys from the factory in the pretty new blue. Gonna trade the Type R for it. Note to all of you young bucks who want a sports car as you're daily. Be sure you have a well paying job and a proper garage to keep her in. I love my Type R but as a daily she's become a source for more stress than joy. I'll miss her but a new, reliable Civic Sport that will be 100% in my name is the way to go. Growing up is about making the responsible choices. Maybe I'll have a Type R again one day but for now the sport sedan just seems like the best move.
That's a very impressive car . As for road noise I think it's partially the tires . My Kia Niro came with 18 inch tires and while they were good tires I still saw a smoother quieter ride when I switched to 16 inch tires . My gas mileage also increased around 7% . A lot of people want big wheels and tires . I'd rather have a smoother quieter ride .
got a civic sport from 2013 and still happy with it low on miles and the leather is perfect, it smells like brand new and I did not need to spend all my savings to get it even with that insanely low miles and it was a full spec model, and since I like MC more than cars it just was a perfect option for me, and for me right now Honda makes good cars no problems with it ever just normal maintenance and service and I might get one like this in the future, but I think they look more like standard now and not so playful and a minor fact I bought a brand new Samsung 65 tv and my little Honda hatchback did bring it home in one piece still on the box and that made me love the car for real :D
The 11th generation exterior / interior looks way better than the 10th gen. The look has a grown up look. It has a Euro luxury vibe look to it and will have more mass appeal. The 10th gen exterior has a very polarizing look. You either hate or love it when you first set your eyes on it. I hated the look of the 10th gen at first, then over the years I kinda warmed up to it. When I first look at the 11th gen, I absolutely loved the look of it.
For the money 💰, the Civic Sport is one of the best values on the market. The interior looks really good and has an upscale appearance. The fit and finish looks great 👍! It may not be the most stylish but still has a nice look with sport wheels and the orange color. I have a 21 Civic Sport Hatchback that I am leasing now and there's a very good chance that I will be buying another Civic Sport Sedan or Hatchback in late 2023 to 2024. The next one I purchase will be a finance for the long haul as I can see getting great longevity with just basic maintenance. Well done by Honda!!
The super conservative design is a big bummer but the interior design and quality and features for the money are a big step up. 👍🏻 It is pretty crazy how much you get with a "base" model in this day and age.
We have a 19' Odyssey Touring as a company vehicle and it's really nice. I've always thought the Civics always felt a bit better built then others in its class.

@@LJImutan Cool. If people want a stick they gotta get the performance model
I never thought I'd see the day when I desire torque converters but putting your foot down in a CVT is automotive punishment.
@@Syncopia Modern CVTs work pretty well these days and they are smoother than other automatic transmissions and of course manual transmissions.
Spot on.
this car looks so much better than the last 10 years of civics
Man' ive had this car for about 7 months now and I've been loving it and i definitely dont regret getting it as a first car. Down the line I'm gonna be trading it in for an Si for my first manual car once i get good at driving one lol. I've come back to this video multiple times before and after i got my car and it's still so entertaining to watch. 👌
I can watch this all day
Great review!! Still feels brand new every day.
The merging onto the highway felt like peering into my soul
First time watching a review. But I absolutely love it. Loved your review! you are very funny and have a good sense of humor. This is how reviews should be. thank you
I just ordered my 2022 Honda civic sport in white color two days ago. it should be here in 2 to 3 weeks. Very excited.
Thank you!
Just picked up the 23 sport. So nice to drive for its price!
Just saw one of these on the road today for the first time. Red also. Looks exactly like all the pictures-clean, inoffensive, just a bit handsome.
First time watching you and I can already tell we have a lot of pet peeves in common. Subscribed!
Ted we have a problem, I’m addicted to your videos and rehab centers will not accept it as an addiction! No but seriously I LOVE your videos especially with headphones in!!
😆
The visibility is heaven like
curious to see the six speed in the hatch
Love it, going to buy it tomorrow
How is it going for you?
@@galibrahman5589 amazing. Nothing like driving a honda. I dont like the auto turn off thou

Other than not having anywhere to put my sunglasses and the stop-start having to be turned off every time you start your car, like you can’t preset that, all in all, great car, and really fun drive.
the new Civic design certainly looks better than the previous one
2019 looks so much better bro
First time seeing your car reviews lol you’re a good reviewer and pretty funny 😂 definitely will subscribe for more. Keep it up
Wonderful job Honda I genuinely want this car and that's coming from a GM guy !
That’s where I got my hatch :)
Styling is a home run. Nothing goofy. Strong, straight lines. The interior is what VW should copy for the Golf Mk IX.
THANK YOU FOR THIS POV
Man, you really do meet the nicest people on a Honda. They were right after all.
love this guy and his wit
The eco mode controls 4 things. Rpm is one and the other major one is that it cuts the air compressor to half use.
Aside. A sport comes with leather wrapped wheel and shifter.
The funnel is to put gas in the car when using a gas can
I'm excited to see the new Type R. I own a 2018 and love how sharp and edgy it is.

Can’t wait for my future son to get one of these for 2k and slap a phat turbo on it
I had a 10th Gen Civic Sport with the 2 liter. I wish it had more power, but it was still a fun car to drive.
Perfect first car, I might buy this for my first car!
For $24k I'd really enjoy this car. Looks great and that powertrain is gonna be super reliable. Also that pupper at the end was adorable!
Honestly might try to get it for a first car
Really looking forward to seeing you review the Civic Si and Sport Touring Manual Hatch when they become available.
Very excited for both!

got a civic sport from 2013 and still happy with it low on miles and the leather is perfect, it smells like brand new and I did not need to spend all my savings to get it even with that insanely low miles and it was a full spec model, and since I like MC more than cars it just was a perfect option for me, and for me right now Honda makes good cars no problems with it ever just normal maintenance and service and I might get one like this in the future, but I think they look more like standard now and not so playful and a minor fact I bought a brand new Samsung 65 tv and my little Honda hatchback did bring it home in one piece still on the box and that made me love the car for real :D
Great review, great personality
Awesome vid man! 🔥
This looks like it would be good to own long-term over the 1.5 turbo.
this guy just talks to much but i love his video of test driving
Red and black glossy. Woow.
But chaos inside the hood.
The super conservative design is a big bummer but the interior design and quality and features for the money are a big step up. 👍🏻 It is pretty crazy how much you get with a "base" model in this day and age.
The external design is so outdated
I appreciate the analog button and switches
Thanks for honest reviews
Great Daily driver for years to come!
Generation 9 had the best interior then any other civic
We have a 19' Odyssey Touring as a company vehicle and it's really nice. I've always thought the Civics always felt a bit better built then others in its class.
Ive got a 9th gen shit box for my daily. Been wanting to replace it with a new civic. I’d definitely get the manual hatch.

THANK YOU for not speeding up to cut that guy off at 9:08. Now, can you please come to NJ to demonstrate that to everyone here, "how to merge safely and without being a d-bag" Thank you
i honestly hate driving in nj😭😭
I preferred the one before it, and I didn’t even know the one before it existed. Though, I do like how they are going back to their “small car” roots.
