Americans and Canadians are both super patriotic- Americans because they want people to know they’re American, and Canadians because we want people to know we’re *not* American.

@matthew cummins, Sorry but you are showing that you don't know what that word means or how racism works. American is not a race. It is however made up of different races. Now you know. Ignoring that America is, generally speaking, uncomfortable with immigrants right now (well immigrants with certain skin pigmentations at least) and you and the rest of the world know it, your attack of him could be considered an example of the racism that you speak of. If you really knew what the word meant you'd know that too. You are not the victim here, sorry.

I also think it’s funny that it seems as though Canadians can’t feel any sense of pride towards their own country without throwing America under the bus... But yet the same people like this guy watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple, Mac (all American companies) and simultaneously migrate to Florida whenever the weather gets to the negatives.... and before any of you attack me for my own opinion... if any American were to spew jokes about the Canadian lifestyle, all hell would break loose. Short, but nonetheless a little funny. I preferred George Carlin types of comedians, philosophical, intellectual, ..., and humorous, plus lengthy shows during which they could expound and did. Oh, it was often repetitive, but that evidently was to try to "get the point across" to people listening, so the audience(s). He well criticized politics, the or some of the churches, also had a skit entitled something like, " _You Have No Rights_ ", given that we we very much have authoritarian law, and so on. With the latter piece, he was talking about govt again, for he made it sufficiently clear that he believed in NATURAL rights and it's just that govt often overrides this.

It must be the easiest thing in the world to be a comedian in Canada: just say a lot of insulting things about Americans. You're sure to get a laugh.
