11:55 I feel this statement about the doctors so much. Like really, it stresses me out so much too! First time I went to korea I got really sick with high fever so I had to go to a hospital in busan with my korean boyfriend. He wanted to diagnose me without checking blood or explaining anything. So I insisted on a blood test cause it was too unnormal for me to have a fever (as i only had it like twice before in my life). I even wanted to ask him so many things about what it could be or what I should do but then my boyfriend later told me that the doctor got kinda pissed and told him he felt i would doubt his skill or authority when i asked so much- like I was super shocked and felt kinda not taken serious as a patient. Yet I was actually just curious what happened to me and wanted to make sure i get healthy asap. In my country it is the most normal thing to ask or get explained. 😅 later I got medication, like 7 pills at once and I had no idea what it exactly was. Even I didnt take so many medication when i was sick before. I had no explanation from doctor and later even reacted allergic to one of the pills and best thing I dont even know against WHAT i reacted as he also didnt explain it. 😂 that was such a culture shock to me. Since then I have a natural distrust and uncomfortable feeling towards korean doctors.
Hi!
12:04 I heard that it’s because of how much people respect doctors in Korea so they don’t ask for explanations as it’s seen as rude since ‘they know what they’re doing’ and people just blindly trust them 😭
@ no I don’t want men to just have sex with me. If you have sex with me, you have to be my husband. It’s not because we women want it. It’s because you men want it.
I just discovered you through a YT recommendation - thank you for the interesting video 🙏🌺
