BRUCE! I thought you hit the power ball jackpot and decided not to fiddle any longer with the machines that the fiddle fairies touch. Great to see you back! You do a good Jim Ignatowski !! I remember that episode like it was on yesterday...he though the application was the test!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Glad you're back!
As you said, it doesn't take much on those engines to knock the timing off. Good find on the float bowl. I have a puller just like the one you used. A large one and a smaller one. You can also flip the legs around as well. Glad you're back.
good to see you back again, that mower down in mexico was a powermore I believe 139cc is one of theirs i know of. not a bad engine. but if you run without air filter well , you know.
And yes, I had the SAME problem only my key was almost sheared in half. I just followed all of your steps and now she's running again. Thank you Bruce!
You are a brave man using a puller like that on an aluminum flywheel. I know you know what you are doing but I have seen many who do not know when to stop and they, of course, ruin the flywheel.
It's good to see your back and a very good video I thought the motor is going to be like Similar up and you surprised me and fixed it awesome job I just rescued a Troy-Bilt they they use it until it rusted right in two pieces that was from 2012 a filter was so plugged with oil and grass I don't know how it was running. They didn't know what was going on with it but it just stopped running until they investigated it and seen that it was in two pieces you never know what you're going to find out there well thank you so much for the video
I guess I keyed in on what I thought you commented on about seeing water on the plug when you removed it. So, was thinking water/lousy fuel. I guess I would have thought the engine would have kept running with the slightly sheared key even though it might be hard to start/kick back. But, perhaps the misinstalled bowl was keeping fuel from flowing into the carb... Nice to see you back.

Oh! My 20" mower seems to have this same problem/symptoms. It's a Briggs engine, but will check it out later today! Very timely, Bruce. Thank you!
Good luck

That is how I learn the hard way
I ruined one that way once. Thankfully I had a spare in the scrap pile.
Welcome back!
Thanks so much
Thought Mrs P discovered she didn’t have any more baking pans!
LOL Thanks

I am lucky as we have a dry climate here. Mostly good decks.

Welcome back. Did you take a vacation from your vacation. Are those new coveralls . things ate looking up . thanks
I like that a vacation from the vacation. I have 3 sets of the overalls. One pair a year for each year.
Nice work Bruce!
Thanks
Nice one Bruce .
Wow good yo hear from you Pete
Great save
Thanka
8:51 we do it right, cuz we do it twice!
They called me do it twice Pender at work. Not because I was lousy but I wasn't totally happy with the first try. LOL
The L shape of those keys on Tecumsehs can be misleading when inspecting for damage.
This key was like the Briggs rectangle ones. I have see a few of these over the years.
6:04 “Tecumish” is the Podunk pronunciation
LOL
