- Todays visit is a True Crime case. The Killings of the Philpott Kids In Derby,
Michael S. Philpott (born December 1956)[2] is a British convicted mass killer who was found guilty in April 2013 of causing the deaths of six of his children by arson. Philpott had made several media appearances because of his benefits-funded lifestyle and polyamorous relationships.
Following an eight-week trial, Philpott and his wife Mairead, together with their friend Paul Mosley, were found guilty of the manslaughter of the Philpotts' six children.

How he was released after what he did to that first girl stabbing her 12 times is unreal,Pure pure evil,surprised he hasnt been got to yet
Can't believe he got 7yrs for the sttempted murder and did only 3,should never have been released
Even at the press conference he lapped up the attention, and not a tear for those babies

Do you remember the murder case of Leslie Molseed from Rochdale, if so check out Ronald Castree's criminal history from the 70's he actually got a fine for raping a woman he was also in possession of firearms.

Those poor babies had absolutely no chance of living a decent life with the parents they had. My heart hurts for all of them 😔

Serving 3 years two months for his original crime is beyond belief. God bless them poor babies too, it’s beyond heart breaking. Thanks for the video Paul, very well put together and with the upmost sensitivity as always.
I live in Derby and drive down that road regularly. Really feel the council should have built a memorial park to those poor kids. Awful events of that night cut deep in that community and beyond. May they Rest in Peace. Thanks Paul
The council canvassed the area asking if a memorial garden or new homes were to be built. Everyone said new homes, because they didn't want to be reminded of the tragedy on a daily basis. Also new homes would help house a family.
The council asked the residents local to the area what they wanted. They didn't want a remembrance garden as they felt the community didn't need the reminder & they were also worried it would be vandalised, so the houses were knocked down & they designed homes that could go there without actually being built on the ground the beautiful children lost there lives, hence the design of the house.
I live in Derby & know a lot of people on Victory Road, my children had played with the Philpott children lots of times when we were visiting friends on Victory Road.
That was beautifully done Paul, under the circumstances, I'm.glad you remembered the philpot children, they deserved to be remembered , thank you for your support and care given in these difficult situations x

@andrewcairns7719 make that 3 evil Bs, with his wife and their friend who are both out and living life, when the kids didn't get a chance to live theirs. I hope they are haunted by their actions, but somehow I doubt it, I don’t think such creatures have a conscience.

I hate this guy!! Being a true crime junkie like I am, I’ve seen several documentaries on this case. He had no remorse whatsoever & even went so far as to make sexual advances against a nurse who was taking care of duwayne before his death. He is sick!! This whole case is sick & to think that this excuse for a human will walk our streets one day is despicable . Thank you Paul ❤ xx

As for the so called Father , Wouldn't it be fitting if the Home office had made an exception to the abolishment of Capital Punishment in his case ? We are still paying to keep him in prison , while he sits and wastes more air that decent people could be breathing . A very powerful video . I felt your anger on this one . It's good that you have highlighted this and reminded us of the children and the vile adults responsible for their deaths, it's important that we are aware of the evil that walks among us.

Hi Paul. It's nice that you keep the memories of the children alive. In the U.S., only the memories of the perpetrators are actually preserved. They even get names and are remembered for a long time, while the victims are long forgotten. Greetings from germany germany ❤❤❤❤❤
All those excuses for human beings was to be on the news even giving an interview before they were held accountable , giving there sons organs was the only good thing to come out of this horrendous crime , how you kept it together Paul as usual a great job and you made it about those poor children .
I currently work with a lady who lived across the road from the family and tried to help save the kids. She is an angel, Mick Philpott is pure evil!

I went to school with 3 of Philpott’s Children (all still alive). I can’t even begin to imagine how they all felt knowing what their Dad had done to their siblings nor how much hate they probably got from the public during the aftermath. I really felt for them at the time. RIP to the children that died 🕊️

Seeing mass graves of children reminds me of the Cemetery in Aberfan where lines of graves of a 116 children are buried side by side. That was a tragic disaster. What Mick Philpot did was deliberate. If this was in America they would have got life without Parole. Nobody was prosecuted for the deaths of 116 Children and 28 Adults in the Aberfan disaster and the 1.5 million raised at the time a fortune in 1966 for the disaster fund from around the world was used to clean up the mess from the coal tip that killed them. the families pretty much got bugger all for their loss. George Thomas (Lord Tonypandy) was at the helm of this administration who later went on to become Speaker at the house of commons. There is a beautiful memorial garden on the grounds of the old School and benches where you can sit to look at the lines of head stones of children. I challenge you not to be moved. It was the 57th anniversary on the 21st of October 2023
I remember the Aberfan disaster very well, I was 10, I remember my mum crying, even though we lived many miles away, I understand why now

Lovely tribute to the poor innocent children who were born to that self-indulgent pathetic man. I'll never forget the day of the funeral and the funeral procession going past my workplace. Beautiful horse-drawn carriages one after another ...the saddest sight I have ever seen. Thank you again Paul.

Tragic and Heart breaking loss of the Philpot children. How the parents could do this heinous crime is something I cannot understand. RIP to them and condolences to the rest of the family.
Thank you as always Paul. I felt your pain as you were at their resting place, laying our flowers. I felt your anger as you mentioned the piece of scum who committed the crime, I felt so incredibly sorry for the police who had to process this, the firefighters who had the awful job of bringing out the bodies and I also felt very sorry for the paramedics and ambulance crews.

I do have a little faith in our justice system knowing mick philpot is still rotting in jail. I hope he never sees the light of day . That was a horrific incident for all those children, all those fake tears in that press conference, that Mick was pure evil. RIP to the Philpott children💐💐💐💐💐💐all died before there time, never forgotton, 15 years isn’t long enough for what he did, 50 years would have been better. I hope someone gets him when he comes out. Just catching up on your recent vids Paul after coming back from the States. It only feels like yesterday since this awful tragedy 😢 This P.O.S should never be released and I hope he rots inside. But here he is in prison in the warm, cooked meals every day, probably access to a gym, TV etc with a better life than some of our elderly, while these poor children didn’t get the chance to grow up! Apparently the wife was released a few years ago and only served some of her sentence! For 6 lives! 😡Just shows how the U.K. justice system is a joke. Anyway rant over, fitting tribute and respectfully done as always Paul. I can see how upsetting and hard that was for you to do 😞 Thank you for taking the time in such awful weather too to remember these innocent children x

You did a wonderful video paul,with good sensitivity too i was in tears when you went up and touched their graves and said sorry,thank you for putting flowers from us all too,i cant believe how they could do that to their own kids.but the mother is out of prison now and so is his friend,i saw her through googling it there was a picture of her walking somewhere with blonde hair and had a baseball cap on her head,you can get it all up on google,they came out after serving only half of their sentence.
I certainly wouldnt want to live on the site of that tragedy the atmosphere must be horrendous.
