    I cannot stop getting impressed on how much power those batteries can provide...and that tiny motor wow

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I know it's crazy. And I only used one third of the power that the motor is capable of. I tried out 12S and got to 25km/h but after a few seconds the voltage of the batteries was too low and the cables got hot. I think that a dual motor setup would be the best way to go so the controller doesn't need to be so expensive.

    Awesome video my man! I'm about to just fiberglass in an outboard mount and front lanyard eye onto a board and give that a shot. The way I figure it, having a lanyard to hold like a ski rope in one hand and the the tiller handle (actually the handle extension) in the other, I should be able to keep balance and effect turning better by simply turning the engine a few degrees.

    as someone who is used to getting towed behind boats and the dangers involved with being in water in proximity to a turning prop, i really suggest you should try to switch to an impeller design. a metal prop this big is quite dangerous and per design you are close to it in the water. don't get hurt!

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At first I had a 70mm propeller and it was too slow :) I was not sure if the fin attachment point is strong enough. But I can hold my weight and won't rip off. I'm still waiting for new batteries but for the next video there will be some improvements and I will record the speed on GPS.
