    Love the idea of it being used as a tow vehicle. The tow rope obviously needs to be longer, but I assume that was the range limitation?
    Awesome build!

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you :) yes the rope could be a little longer but it was totally fine. The jerking was not from the transmitter range limitation but was because the throttle is very sensitive and the propellers need some time to spin up. I will test the range soon :)

    After two years of radio silence it's great to hear from you again! I knew you would surprise us with something new, it's awesome man!
    I think moving your motors towards the center of the board would help to increase the speed and bring the nose down, have you tried changing the angle of the motors?
    By the way, how did you seal/waterproof the solder joints?

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I could change the angle but in what direction. So the back of the board comes more out of the water. But since the whole board bends a little bit I don't think there will be much improvement 😅

    • @Eden_M
      @Eden_M 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EOLAND99 I guess I would mount both motors on sheet of plywood and then strap the whole thing using ratchet straps to the center of the board making sure to keep it as streamline as possible, if that makes sense, I know it's could be a lot of work but I'd give it a shot :)

  • @kevinalmeida7159
    @kevinalmeida7159 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    needs to add a 8 degree angle to have the props create lift so you can plane the water for top speed and you need to add a vortex wing with the props so close to surface you losing efficiency this is a wing above the prop that creates density at prop

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great suggestion. I will definitly try that :) Which vortex would you suggest. Because I tried a 3d printed wing at the fin to lift the back out of the water, but the drag was way too high so it wasn't faster. I'm also looking for a better propeller with less cavitation, since I think a prop guard would reduce top speed and its more expensive.

    Great build my friend. I thought your single prop version was pretty good this one hits all the boxes. It’s quick, maneuvers well and is cheap ........ compared to anything you can buy today. I love the hydrofoil towing idea. I have been working on a boogie tow. To do the same thing . It goes like a stabbed rat but I can’t control it very well a fail video is on my channel but it’s a great idea to make your power Sup a hyrrofoil towing device too. You were getting some pretty decent speeds there my friend 😁🤙🏼
    I did notice that you had the paddle in one hand and the remote in the other hand. U should try a mini skateboard remote. Put it into a balloon and tie a knot in the balloon now it’s waterproof....then tape it to your paddle right where you place your lower hand now you can control the throttle and use the paddle to steer or help balance you. That’s what I do on my builds and it works well. Use electrical tape to tape the remote to the paddle and set your remote up and have it on before you put it into the balloon. Then test it before you tape it to the paddle.
    Looking forward to more videos when the weather warms up .
    Nice job sir 🤙🏼🤙🏼😁

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you :) So two channels from the reciever are going into the arduino and there I'm using this code to calculate the values for the two ESCs.
      #include
      int channel[2];

      int lgas;
      int rgas;
      int gas;
      int ligas;
      int regas;
      Servo lESC;
      Servo rESC;
      void setup() {
      pinMode(7,INPUT);
      pinMode(8,INPUT);

      Serial.begin(9600);

      lESC.attach(9,1000,2000);
      rESC.attach(10,1000,2000);

      }
      void loop() {
      channel[0]=pulseIn(7,HIGH);
      channel[1]=pulseIn(8,HIGH);

      gas = map(channel[0],1500,2000,1000,2000);

      int l = constrain(channel[1],1500,2000);
      int r = constrain(channel[1],1000,1500);
      lgas = gas - 2*(l-1500);
      rgas = gas - 2*(1500-r);
      lgas = constrain(lgas, 1000, 2000);
      rgas = constrain(rgas, 1000, 2000);
      ligas=map(lgas,1000,1950,0,180);
      regas=map(rgas,1000,1950,0,180);
      ligas = constrain(ligas, 0, 180);
      regas = constrain(regas, 0, 180);
      Serial.print("links gas");
      Serial.print(ligas);
      Serial.print(" -a ");
      Serial.print("rechts gas");
      Serial.println(regas);
      lESC.write(ligas);
      rESC.write(regas);

      }
      I adjusted the values by trial and error. You can monitor the output and see if everything is corrct. The Value 1000 would be zero throttle and 2000 full throttle.

    Cool dass Du am SUP weiter baust. Warum so verhältnismäßig große Propeller und "nur" 6S? Ich würde ja eher etwas kleinere Propeller und mehr Spannung fahren. Brushless Motoren nehmen ihre Power aus der Drehzahl. Die Propeller selber sehen auch seltsam aus. Betreibe selber RC Boote, bei denen sehen die vollgetauchten Propeller komplett anders aus. So genannte Eco Propeller.
    Ich würde auch noch eine Winkelverstellung vom Antrieb vorschlagen, also dass der Antrieb auf und ab geschwenkt werden kann. Bringt sicherlich was beim Topspeed wenn das optimal eingestellt ist.

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ich könnte es auch mit 70mm propellern versuchen. Habe nur einen aber ich dachte ich brauche mehr Schub um auf die Wasseroberfläche zu kommen. Ich könnte die Motoren auch mehr neigen um das heck mehr aus dem Wasser zu bekommen. Bin mir aber nicht sicher wie viel mehr mal rausholen kann. Vielleicht sind 12S und drei motoren das beste.

    • @RateReducer
      @RateReducer 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      better get the 56114 360kv or maybe lower so you can use a bigger propeller or 12S with a small propeller. You definitly need an rc boat esc with minimum of 6S and 200A and a Propeller with a diameter of 94mm. That is what I got, but there is a lot of room for improvement. Also the bearings of the motor will get louder, so for long use an axial bearing should be used or better a waterproof motor like this one:

    • @EOLAND99
      @EOLAND99  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So nice to hear back from you :)
      I could try 3D printing one but I testet one plastic propeller and the higher the RPM goes less thrust is produced. So the propeller needs to be thin and that is only possible with metal propellers.
