If you went through Upper Moutere then you would have passed through Braeburn, where the Braeburn apple variety was first created. I lived in Upper Moutere twenty years ago. I used to commute to Wellington each Monday by flying over the Marlborough Sounds and returning for a long weekend in Nelson on the Thursday night. Best commute in the world! Glad you enjoyed Nelson Market, too. I have really enjoyed your videos. I hope you get to return here soon. I now live just south of Timaru , in Waimate, and also lived on the Otago Peninsula next to Lanarch Castle. Your tour feels like my tour of living in NZ for the last thirty years. Thanks so much. Safe travels.
You are so close. Get to Wharariki beach before the wind kicks up usually about 11am. The lakes walk onto the beach is the best. About 90 mins round walk from the carpark. There are seal pups at the moment. Just head straight out to the rockpools on the main beach to the right of the Arches to see them. Low tide is best. Welcome to the top of the South.
I lived in Nelson for almost 30 years. The Nelson/Tasman region is extremely beautiful but it now gotten crazy expensive. The able Tasman gets absolutely packed over the summer months. I recommend going in March or April when there is less people around. Upper moutere is more of a food producing part there are alot of producers in that area some of best cheese around is made there. I also hope you managed to check out the European bakery in mot

weirdly a peanut is not a nut, it's a legume which is what a lentil is.
True but lentils grow above ground in pods like peas but peanuts grow underground 🥜
@@llorttaf ok but they are still both legumes.
