@@3rdpersontech Hi, sir I too just found your channel, and I have subscribed. I have question one on the SAMSUNG LOGO LETTER, and I'm wondering where I can get a new label and how to replace it, is that even possible??? PLEASE HELP.
I’m a 40 y.o. woman that is semi handy. I followed the link, bought the part and switched it out in less than 15 minutes. My oven is working again and I thank you ❤
Have the same oven..my husband followed your tutorial and when we received part he had it changed out within 10 minutes..thank you for a great tutorial..now I have a working oven! 😊
You saved our Thanksgiving. Oven failed on Monday. I used the link for part & followed the video. Oven works. Crisis averted the day before Thanksgiving. Thank you.
Thanks for the tutorial!!! Was having issues with our Samsung appliances started to replace as they broke. Started shopping for an oven. This part fixed our oven issues. $25 instead of the $600-700 replacement! Thank you for your expertise!
Ty for this video!!! My husband was able to do this in like under 10 minutes. It was so easy with your video! You saved us from purchasing a new stove. 🎉
Thanks for the video! Just fixed mine tonight with the same igniter from your link. Oven heated up to 425 in less than 5 minutes. One tip for everyone, don’t strip the front screw in the burner! Mine was so rusted on I stripped it and had to drill it out. Other than that I could’ve had this done in 10 mins
Thanks for the tutorial! I have the same oven and it was taking a really long time to preheat (like 30-45 min). Ordered the part you linked and spent 20ish minutes and it is working great. $25 part and a few minutes is all it took!
Just did the job at my house and the oven is on 🔥🔥🔥🔥 thanks for the help it use to take about 12 mins to reach 400 degrees and now about 5 mins and it really feels like 400 degrees
Thanks for the video. Took me ten minutes to swap out. The wifey is so happy now. :) I see people asking the question below. Not sure if its the correct way but I did not unplug the cord or turn off the gas.
Nailed it!! Our oven had a super long preheat. Grabbed my amp meter and sure enough 2.6 amps. Ordered the part from your link, swapped out the igniter fired it up and BAM! instant ignition. Thanks for the informative video.
Great video ordered the part from your link fixed it in 15 min thank you wife is happy I’m happy didn’t have to call her father to put hand in my oven 👍🏽
Easy Peary. The tool to check the amperage draw was more expensive than the igniter, so I ok a chance and just purchased the igniter. It took me less than 15 minutes to replace it and put the oven back together (4 screws). It fired right up. Thank you, thank you.
Borrowed an amp meter, igniter reading 2.7. That's just BARELY low. But before I call a repair person, I'm going to order a new igniter (from your link) and see if I can replace it myself for $25 instead of service visit for $225. Grateful for your video! Fingers crossed.
Thank you so much, this completely fixed our issue we really appreciate your video! Unfortunately our Samsung microwave also went out - I'll likely not be buying Samsung appliances again 😬
Thanks only thing is my igniter was reading 2.97 and still not lighting. I put a new one in and it was pulling 3.65A and lit right off. So the igniter was still not pulling enough at 2.97A. Bottom line though, your plan worked !! THANKS Rick
Thank you! I didn’t have a clamp meter and I did not want to figure out how to use my regular multimeter but I bought the part you said to buy and that was the exact issue anyways so I guess I saved the stuff ha ha. Works great so thank you. I was a little heebie-jeebies about the open flame stuff but I guess that’s exactly how it was when I pulled it off so I’m sure it’s fine. Thanks again
Thank you for your video. I dont have that fancy meter you used - but my Samsung gas oven is VERY slow to heat up. I should note that the broiler works fine but the bake function is the problem. Also there is an orange glow at the bottom of the oven but it never heats up
@3rdPersonTech: Very clear video! Q: What part would I look for if my Samsung (same as the one here but with dual doors/partitioned) oven heats initially but then just randomly STOPS during cooking? I can't find a specific trigger (opening upper door vs. opening full door, etc.), it's extremely random. Hoping I don't have to replace the entire controller board. All of my Samsung appliances have failed in some oddball way, it's crazy!
Best video shortest best repair thanks to this, outstanding !! Second replacement of this dumb ass, Samsung appliance, this time save me so much time. Very efficient repair thanks so much.!!
Enjoyed your video. The explanation on how to repair is great. If you slow down on your camera movement it would bring the video quality up to the spoken word quality.
Worked exactly as the good man explained!! Great video & thank you for posting this (mine was the igniter). Thanks for posting the link to the igniter! You have a new subscriber!!👍🫡

Hey very informative video I bought 3 ignitor for my samsung stove just like that and I have had no success in getting the oven to light any thoughts will be greatly appreciated thanks
Hey! Awesome videos! I got a very similar Samsung that won’t go past 320 and it takes longgg to get there. Any ideas? Oh also it does a puffing or popping noise.
There were frames of the video that were hard to pinpoint what you were actually doing, but I will try and figure it out. What the the name of the part that I will order, is it a one size fits all?
@@coolraul07 yes as the oven is releasing the gas for it to light, but because the amperage is low on igniter, it’s taken longer than usual for the oven to ignite
I just changed my igniter and it’s still not working. The igniter is not lighting. Also, the meter indicates that I do have around 115 amps coming from the from the stove wires so I have power. Do you have any suggestions of what else it could be? Thanks
@@Triciadean7777 this igniter more than likely will work for your unit. However you can look at the lower draw pull it open and look at the face you may see your tag there. Or simply open the oven door and look up to see if you see the tag. And yes it’s safe to have the gas on while replacing this part. This repair however should be performed that your own risk
Need some help kind sir, I have a Samsung FX510BGS when it was turned on for preheat the ignitor would get red hot but would eventually through an E08 code . According to the troubleshooting chart in the owners manual we turned the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds , we turned the oven back on and the problem still persisted. Not because the igniter goes mean the amperage is correct. If is heating up slowly, I would check the amperage on the adviser. Sounds like you might have a igniter problem.
