I've been using my fm3 in 4cm with my JMP 2203 (with a Zero Loss FX loop) and it's been working really well. Pretty cool how you've got everything set up between your scenes and amp channels thru midi.

My GT1000 does the 4CM very well indeed, I only use it for fx rather than preamps. You're doing a great job Jason.

Jason I'm wondering if you could help me by answering a question? I watched your video on the Soldano mod and I think it's incredible! My question relates to that somewhat. My ultimate dream amp is one that can reproduce/clone a 90's Mesa Dual Rectifier. The reason I say "clone" is because most techs will caution costumers from purchasing Mesa on grounds that they're not well made. I know that the preamp of a Recto is basically an SLO, thus, if I obtain an SLO 100 could a mod be done to toggle between an SLO tone & something approximating a Dual Rec? I know nothing about tube amp circuits so if this sounds silly just let me know, if you choose to. p.s Psionic Audio mentioned your channel, so you have come highly recommended!! Thank you, I'll be sure to like and subscribe.

Lyle has been super cool to me, we have chatted a bit and he’s been very generous with his time and knowledge.
If you want a dual rec tone then I think you should get one. Mods are normally much harder to conceive and implement and there would be no guarantee that the end result would sound like a Dual Rec.

@@HeadfirstAmps Thanks for the info! I figured that would be the case because of all the variables on that given circuit. In all honesty, I think I'll look for something else instead because long term reliability is a factor that I just can't waiver. I appreciate the advice & can't wait for new content! You do an exceptional job! Oh, I almost forgot to mention that Lyle is super cool and would love to see you two collaborate sometime!

You should get a cut on some midi device sales. I've never considered using midi but I'm shopping for stuff now in anticipation.

Hi guys, i have just discovered this great amp. Is the clean channel able to stay clean with no dirt? Is this amp in the Marshall territory soundwise? Thank you!!!

Cleanish. There is a separate clip just on ch1, you can hear it there.
