Like where to watch Tokyo orchestra or recitals (classical music), where are bars that have local small bands that play at night, etc. Thank you!

A lot of the information you provided is spot on, leaving for Japan in the morning for my second trip to the Country and I can say business hotels in Japan are great if you want a cheaper place to stay. APA is a good one and the one I use personally. There is one in Akihabara across the street from Yodobashi camara, which in turn is right next to the trains there, there is a 7/11 on one side of the hotel and a family mart on the other.
Thank you so much for putting together these videos! My husband and I are planning a trip for next year, and this information is helpful! I plan on watching more of your videos

Thank you for providing such an excellent and accurate guide. I recently visited Tokyo and wish I had had access to your travel guide before my trip. However, I will definitely be back soon and will make sure to make use of your guide next time. Could you please consider doing an overview of Japanese Chain restaurants like Matsuya, Curry House CoCo ICHIBANYA, Yoshinoya, Sushiro, Torikizoku, etc?

Love it man!!! keep it up Ken! I always say your videos are different from the typical youtubers... they are always informative to first time travelers. i find it very helpful. it's the type of questions that pop in my mind. i'm still planning to to go Japan.
Good video - very informative - like having a local tourist guide. I also like the small details such as the multicultural Shin Okubo, nice views from the automated Odaiba train, Haneda airport.
That‘s a very good overview but I guess I need to see the video over again since Tokyo is such a huge place! As all your previous videos, this one helps a lot to plan my first trip to Japan. Thanks Kenchan!
Thank you so much Ken Chan for the thorough explanation of Tokyo and Japan. I will be visiting for the first time in early September for almost three weeks, your explanation and your video really helped me make my itinerary even better. Arigatou gozaimasu!
Great video as usual man :D Glad to see how your channel has started growing massively, you deserve the success. You helped many people simplify planning their trips so thank you!
Thank you for this video ! My parents are coming to Japan to see me tomorrow, and I didn't knew what I could show them in Tokyo (there are too many things !!) ! :D
Thank you for watching. That's exciting your parents are visiting you tomorrow! I'm sure they enjoy the time wherever you take them as long as they see you are dong well in Tokyo.
Thank you for another amazing video Kenchan! You make the best travel videos for Japan and I'm so happy that I found your channel now that I've started to plan my trip for the fall :) Keep up the hard work and consistency, you have given so much of us a wealth of information🙏
What an informative and comprehensive video! Even though I have visited Japan before, it’s been a while and many things have been updated. Your videos have been so helpful with planning my trip. Arigato ☺️🌸
Hi, Ken changed! I am really enjoying your videos. I lived in the Tokyo area, many years ago. These videos bring back wonderful memories. My friends and I will be visiting November '23. We are very excited. Can you recommend LIVE music venues for an older crowd? Thanks so much!
Denise san, thank you for watching my videos! I'm glad you enjoy them. As for the music, are there any specific music genre you prefer? Is is Jazz or something more Japanese? Also, do you prefer dining as you listen to them? I appreciate if you could let me know. Thank you again! 🎷🎵
@Tokyo Kenchan HI, Kenchan! Thanks so much for your response to my message. We like "live" music venues, most. I used to frequent The Blue Note. It would be great to be able to have dinner while having dinner. Do you know anything about R2 Supper Club? Love Jazz. What about Yokohama? Thanks for your help.
Arigato, Kenchan! I am planning my visit for the next year, and your videos are very useful, I am watching them to have a general idea of what to do! I'd like to have your opinion about public transportation: I'll rent a place in Akihabara and, if I understood correctly, there is no "universal day ticket" for both the JR line and the metro lines, do you think it is reasonable (or enjoyable, maybe the surface train is something that I should try!) to use only the metro or should I always use a 72hrs ticket and a Suica card? Thank you in advance
Kenchan, I am resending this Comment I believe I inadvertently passed over Cancel and the Comment was cancelled. This is a great compilation to help with my trip planned for this May. 1. The slide of the Yamanote line and how I could take a the Chuo line from the Tokyo Station to the Shinjuku Station is good advice. Then use that to get to stations that are either on the west or east side of the Yamanote Line. 2. Thanks for confirming a "walk" from Shinjuku to Shibuya / Harajuku. One of my day trips will be to start at Shibuya and pay my respects to Hachiko and walk to Harajuku. Then circle back to Shibuya in early evening and then back to Ikebukuro (where I am staying). Shinjuku may be a separate day walk. 3. The slide of attractions and how you can properly plan was very elightening. 4. Thank you for pointing out the Seiko Museum and Sony in Ginza. I was planning to take a day trip out to one of the two Seiko factories but the museum will be fine. There is a 1-Day JTB tour that may take care of some of the sites I want to visit including the Imperial Palace, Tsukiji (outer market), Asakusa, Tokyo Tower. I have made plans to visit Wakayama / Kishi Train Station on a 3-day, 2 night side trip. I plan to take a train from Wakayama Station (hotel) to the Kuroshio Fish Market (lunch) and then walk back through Wakayama and back to hotel. Your storage locker information might come in handy if my hotel cannot hold my luggage during visit to Wakayama. Thank You! How about more on Ramen shops, Yakitori, Katsu shops? By the way, is there a shop in Tokyo that I can order a Hanko while I'm there. That's the latest update and thank you for sharing and keep these videos coming! 😻🙏
Hello Wtn san, thank you for writing me again. 1. Yes, Chuo line is convenient. Plus, I always like to take JR as it's above ground and I can see the city. 2. Yes, Shibuya - Harajuku is a walkable area. Harajuku - Shinjuku might be a little far for walking and not much in between (but still possible). That sounds a good plan to separate Shinjuku if you have time. 3. I'm glad to hear that. :) There is always the best time and day to be at the certain locations. 4. Oh! Seiko factory is the one in Nagano or Iwate? I'm sure that will be another experience and Ginza might not be enough for you as it's small. Please see if this is something you enjoy. museum.seiko.co.jp/en/use/ But at least it's free and in the heart of Ginza.😄 There are plenty of shops you can order Hanko. If you are staying in Ikebukuro, the one in Ikebukuro might be convenient. This is just one example ( I have no experience at this store):www.ikebukuronishiguchi-hankohiroba.com/cont5/main.html Thank you for letting me know your amazing plan. I'll keep posting more videos.🗼
Thank you Kenchan, a very clear and informative videos as always. One thing i might want to add is that I read somewhere that you can only add IC Card on Android phones bought in Japan. So if you use your Android phones from any other countries, you can’t use this features. This is not the case for Iphone. P.S. I just noticed that you got another 1K subscibers since your last video, keep up the good work Kengo-San!
Thank you for your kind message and letting me know about the Android. I will put that in the description and update the information when I have new videos with train informations. Yes! It increased suddenly. Thank you for noticing it and encouragement. :)
I am about to travel to Tokyo and during my research, I have come across several videos, but this particular one stands out as the best. It would be great if you could share an Excel sheet with us as there is a lot of valuable information to absorb in this video. Overall, it's absolutely fantastic!
@@tokyokenchan I would like to express my gratitude once again for creating such a fantastic video. It was extremely informative and helpful. Regarding your query, I definitely agree that having a document would be extremely beneficial. It would be ideal to have a downloadable link to an Excel sheet or Word document that provides the exact address or location to visit. Given that your video covers a vast amount of ground, having such a resource would be tremendously advantageous.
@@feejus I apologize for my late response. Thank you for teaching me about the Excel sheet. It might not be Excel but I'll work on it in the future. I hope you have a great trip.
@@tokyokenchan what I was thinking was a short and concise document which would have details sån, I was thinking a document such as go here for x and short description. Again I want to say Domo Arigato gezimeas for you kind support. I had wonderful stay in Tokyo thnx to your tips.
I'm currently gathering everything I want to sightsee 😅Afterwards all it's left for me is to connect the dots, since I've already booked everything else. I'm pretty flexible, so I'm trying to pack every tokyo indoor activity into 1/2 days in case there are rainy days during my stay in mid april. Your video has given me a couple of spots more to plan ahead 👍 As for video feedback it would helpful to blend lesser known names at 21:42, so anyone can easily find them. I think I understood the first one as Gotokuji the second I didn't quite catch. As far as I know the Welcome Suica card is not refundable that should be important to note, especially for budget travellers (otherwise it's a good looking souvenir) & 25:35 miniscule typo of "trash". Keep up with the steady uploads and your channel can grow much bigger this year. Your information coverage is very wide and the a/b-rolls are fantastic.
Thank you so much for taking your time for such a detailed feedback and encouragement! I can’t believe I spelled trash wrong. I cut some information you mentioned in the last minute to keep the video short, so I’ll add in the description and subtitle with all links to places :) Thank you again. Wish you the best for your next trip.

Wonderful video as always! A suggestion for a future video would be the foods that different cities/regions are known for :)
Thank you for watching! Sure. I'm planning video about each region's shop in Tokyo, so maybe that will be a video including those informations. :)
Thank you again very much👍🙏😇
Thank you again!

Thank you for your comments. I wish you the best trip in May!
Great video, thankss :)
@Tokyo Kenchan HI, Kenchan!
Thanks so much for your response to my message. We like "live" music venues, most. I used to frequent The Blue Note. It would be great to be able to have dinner while having dinner. Do you know anything about R2 Supper Club? Love Jazz. What about Yokohama?
Thanks for your help.
really good video! very informative! thanks ken san!
Thank you Cerwin san. Oh you are the same person with Instagram! haha.
Thank you for your kind message. May I ask if that Excel sheet is something like a guide comes with the link to the places I mentioned in the video?
I had wonderful stay in Tokyo thnx to your tips.
great video, very informative!! 🤗
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your message.
Your video has given me a couple of spots more to plan ahead 👍
As for video feedback it would helpful to blend lesser known names at 21:42, so anyone can easily find them.
Very helpful, thank you.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you.
