Now those are some properly Disney themed rooms. They put the stateside rooms to shame. The Tokyo Disney Parks are definitely on my bucket list. Gorgeous parks, better customer service and food and excellent merchandise.
I stayed in the toy story hotel last year and it was absolutely worth it. Literally the best hotel I have been in and I wish I stayed there longer. Literally healed my inner child ❤️
Yay! Thank you for a video on Disneyland Japan, it was extremely insightful for our future plans. It’s crazy to see you and your team reach almost 1 million subscribers, totally well deserved. Thank you AJ!
Very awesome parks- I love it there. INCREDIBLE attention to detail. However, the parks are MUCH busier than any of the American parks, and all the time (they are right next to a metropolis with 20 million people, almost all of whom love Disney). Like you will regularly wait hours per day even if you plan it right. Though this was before they came up with being able to buy a spot in line- this was the "paper fastpass" era. The Tink room is awesome indeed- I love how it even has the old-school "Book Fairies", before the movies!
The coolest part is that we will be there visiting our son and daughter-in-law who have been living there working as missionaries for 2 years now! 25 days and counting until we fly out!! So excited to see them and experience Tokyo Disney with them while we are there (we are all huge Disney fans - they had season tickets when they lived in Orlando a few years back!).
went to both parks when i studied abroad earlier this year, love that you're covering them! they function very differently but they're absolutely worth the trip out.
Have been lucky enough to visit these parks several times. Last April I was at DisneySea and it wasn't very crowded at all. Tower of Terror was a walk on! Amazing.
Despite loving this resort, I do need to add two important things. (1) There’s no traditional Main Street Bakery, which is jarring, even though the dessert shop between World Bazaar and Tomorrowland has some good pastries. (2) If you aren’t familiar with American parks, you will be lost. Signage is in English, but the Cast speaks very little English. Most online guides make it seem like everyone is bilingual and everything is in English. That’s not true.
My sisters and I went to Tokyo Disneyland in January 1986. We were on an Aussie group tour of Japan and it was a free day so quite a few of us went there. My sisters and I are Australian of Chinese heritage. Every time we queued for a ride we had to put one of our non Asian travelling companions at the front because the staff at the rides assumed we were Japanese and speak to us in Japanese. It was easier than explaining we are not Japanese. I’m sure it has changed a lot since then. We’ve been to Disneyland in Anaheim and Hong Kong too.
Hello, Disney fam! New sub to the channel 🎢✨ Flashback to the '80s, shortly after Tokyo Disneyland opened, I experienced its magic while in the Navy. Now, decades later, it's time for another magical journey, but with my family. 🌟 This June 16th-18th, from the Philippines to San Diego, we're thrilled to revisit Tokyo Disneyland and share our adventure on our TH-cam channel, EJay’s Adventures. 📸🎥 It's been a while, and with a 3-year-old, we're seeking advice from this community. Tips on cozy places near Haneda Airport, family-friendly attractions, and must-dos in Tokyo Disneyland would be amazing. 🏨🎡 Every recommendation helps us create a memorable trip for our little one and a nostalgic journey for us. Share your top picks and hidden gems! 💖
Thank you so much AJ for sharing your trip and tips on Tokyo Disney! One question I had is what time do you get to start booking rides either with premier access or the fast pass way (40th anniversary for now)
I was lucky enough to go to both Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea In July 2023. They are BOTH freaking A-MA-ZING! Next level parks! The parks were so detailed and perfectly themed. I recommend the night shows at both parks over the day shows. So pretty to see at night. Beauty and the Beast ride was so beautiful. It was SUPER HOT so yes, bring a refillable water bottle and or hat/umbrella for shade.
With the crowd levels at Tokyo Disney I have always wondered how many rides you can reasonably expect to see in a typical 8 hour day. Not counting fast pass usage if you can't get it .
i couldn't disagree more, that 15 min early entry 'Happy Time' is GIANT if you want to ride the major e-ticket attraction (currently soaring at Dis-sea and beauty and the beast Dis-land). Been going to these parks yearly since 2004
It sounds like I would have trouble eating there. I have a dairy allergy, plus a lot of other things I can’t digest properly, like popcorn kernels, caffeine, or anything carbonated. Though I still want to go!
Great video! So helpful as to what people can expect at Tokyo Disney! Would it be possible to make a video about the types of hotel rooms and the size of beds in Japan near Tokyo Disney. Those beds do not look like queen beds and an American family of four cannot all fit on 2 full beds, which is what those beds look like. Do resorts there have rooms with queen size beds for 4 people (two teen/adult people in each bed)? Thx! That would be super helpful as I understand hotel rooms in Japan are very different than what we are used to in the states.
Not sure if you’re open to official but not Disney owned hotels like the Sheraton and Hilton. I’ve stayed at both and they have rooms with 3 US sized full beds, 4 single beds, etc. The Disney owned hotels tend to have a trundle bed under one of the beds if that helps.
After watching this, i no longer have to endure the "a trip to Tokyo Disney is cheaper than going to Disneyworld". It clearly is not. I don't doubt that the parks are more magical and better kept, but it's still a premium.
I would be afraid the language would be a major hurdle, but it does seem they have English along with Japanese directions. I agree, the app would be most beneficial for the trip. Seems like it would be a worthwhile trip but expensive. Any chance of doing a EuroDisney video soon? Yes, I will die on that hill because I was there when it opened in France. All-American Marching Band!
I haven't been to a Disney park in 12 years, the only reason I went then was because it was free and I was able to eat lunch at Club 33 in Anaheim. I thought that I might want to visit Tokyo Disneyland when I go to Japan in a couple of years but after watching this video I have changed my mind. Seems like most of your time in the park is spent waiting in line and trying to make reservations for absolutely everything you want to do from rides, eating, watching shows, etc. Just doesn't sound like a good time to me.
100% agree, Mike. Nothing is worth waiting in a line like that for. And I don't want to have to make reservations for everything and be stuck in crowds all day. Not my idea of fun.
She went on a weekend or holiday. If you go on a weekday the wait times will be way shorter especially in Jan after new years - February where the longest wait time is 30min. And that's only for Beauty and the beast ride. All other rides will be 5-15min
I don’t know if you’re even see this comment but I was wondering something. Could you do a break down of Disneyland Paris? I’m going in 2024 and I would love a break down of the attractions, and food, etc…
The rooms are a bit too much for me to stay in (theming and price-wise) but they are still absolutely beautiful. I stopped by Disney Sea only and it was amazing from the little time I had. Can’t wait to go again one day!
Thanks to work trips which frequently take me to Tokyo, I’m blessed to be able to visit regularly. I know this is impossible for most people because of the long flight and vacation time (the price is actually affordable), but Tokyo is so superior that I don’t bother with the American Disney parks anymore. It makes me sad to type that. I have fantastic memories from how Disneyland and WDW used to be. Now only the Tokyo parks feel like proper Disney.

I feel like I'm going to need a lot of these videos talking about the do's and donts of international travel. Maybe you need a dFB international site!
Yes, today is my 1st day planning my December 2025 trip and I feel overwhelmed
Very awesome parks- I love it there. INCREDIBLE attention to detail. Really...ALL OF IT! but those rides look so different and a unique way to present those stories, thats what gets me most excited!
I'm going to Japan in october with my best friend and I'm so happy my favorite disney channel just uploaded a video on Tokyo Disney! ❤
The coolest part is that we will be there visiting our son and daughter-in-law who have been living there working as missionaries for 2 years now! 25 days and counting until we fly out!! I’m going to Tokyo Disney mid December, so excited!!! 💖
Have been lucky enough to visit these parks several times. Last April I was at DisneySea and it wasn't very crowded at all. Tower of Terror was a walk on! Amazing.
Our whole family are heading to Tokyo Disney for Splash Mountain and their other unique rides & experiences! But mostly for Splash Mountain 😊❤🤩

Which park is your fav ?
AJ REALLY wants me to go to Tokyo 😂
I do too!
Thank you for these videos. I’m really curious how Tokyo treats food allergies, being celiac. Disney in the States does such a wonderful job.
Gluten free is an american thing. People in japan dont care

We switched our trip from April to June for the Fantasy Springs park. We just cannot wait!
Good luck! It’s going to be very hard to get into the fantasy springs area
@@romychar i know. But we are going to be in the Disney resort for 7 days. We are bound to get in Fantasy spring.
If it’s going to be momentous, we better just live the moment and love the memory.
OMG! I can’t believe I am going to Tokyo next November! Thank you for the video!
Thank you so much AJ for sharing your trip and tips on Tokyo Disney! One question I had is what time do you get to start booking rides either with premier access or the fast pass way (40th anniversary for now)
You can start booking once you enter the park!
@@keko8887 thank you!
Thank you so much for the video, it was very helpful to prepare my solo trip to Tokyo Disney! I got myself the Winnie the Pooh popcorn bucket haha
I’m going to Tokyo Disneyland in the summer!😁
Ok i did not know u planned tokyo disney trips okkkkk ima be here tomorrow bc im sleepy but so excited u olanned my trip to fl disney last yr !!

Agreed. We were in the first flight of Soarin and first group at BatB because of it.
I want to experience everything. If you know a trusted travel agency who can do the booking for us please let us know !!
I would have liked a bit more info on transfer options between the airport and Tokyo Disney.
It depends where you staying but if you are going to be in the resort area the airport limo bus is very good and cheap
Great video. Can't wait to go in November 2024.
Oh those rooms are amazing! And we get the IKEA Contemporary...ugh...
It sounds like I would have trouble eating there. I have a dairy allergy, plus a lot of other things I can’t digest properly, like popcorn kernels, caffeine, or anything carbonated. Though I still want to go!
Do I need to take off my shoes before I enter the park?

You going to need more than $200 and an extra suitcase for not only Disney stuff but the rest of the Japanese snacks and trinkets to take home
I got confused at Disney genie and lightning plus. What are those?
fast passes

I went to Disney Sea back in 2013 without knowing a lick of Japanese... its possible and 100% worth it!
Do one for Hong Kong too plsss
The time to go is now with the exchange rate being in favor of the dollar.
Around what time of year does tokyo disney have the least amount of people?
Do one of these videos for Paris!!!!!!! Love Disneyland Paris
YeS! Go to Disneyland Paris too! PLEASE !!!!🥰
Going back in 3 weeks ( last time was okt)
me unintentionally planning our trip the same exact days the park is expanding 💀 very nervous to get tickets now lol
I think I would go broke on all the cool merch!
How well do they speak English in Tokyo? Like is it well enough to understand the staff or is it hard to communicate?
The official language of Japan is Japanese

Summer in tokyo is no joke, so make sure you wear a hat, sunscreen and an umbrella.
Are those beds Full size or Queen size? We are going on a girl's trip with 4 of us and want to make sure we can comfortably share a room.
They're twins girl, you can see on the site
@ckwanita907 they aren't all. Some rooms yes, I've looked.
Twins and doubles
Why don’t we have flavored popcorn in Disney world Orlando?!?! I feel robbed
Do you get Happy Entry if you stay at the Sheraton?
No. That’s only for the higher end Disney owned hotels.
Thanks to work trips which frequently take me to Tokyo, I’m blessed to be able to visit regularly. How many days do you recommend spending there?
3 days minimum. 1 day for each park and then the 3rd day pick whichever one you want.
Disney parks in America really need to learn from Tokyo
They know exactly what to do. They just don't want to spend the money for it.
You also keep saying its 10PM EST, but neglect to mention its 10PM the day BEFORE. Japan is roughly 14 hours ahead of the EST.
the rides
Absolutely discouraged.
I love how americans assume people speak in english at TDR. As if they believe the entire world evolves around them. So funny
Claim your 1min ticket here
Didnt know I live in the US?
So confusing! and too much to learn. Id want to hire a personal guide to help me get though it.
This is the worst video Ive seen all week. So much fluff and nothing to do with whats at the the park. boring
