- Holy we hit hard! Our beams melt people, we're stupidly tanky on a templar 1 bar build and have great sustain. How?? This is a blast to play and with using 1 bar to kill, sustain and survive it a great class to learn on. It truly feels how a templar should play and is a great asset to any group. It is a blast to play and works in Cyrodiil, Battlegrounds and Duels.

Thanks man 😃 this is a solid setup and is surprisingly tanky with great damage when you get people below 50% and beam them to death!
Love 1 bar builds. Took me a while to figure the one I'm using. Might give yours a shot! I use 5pc Stuhn's, 5pc Mara's and 1pc Magma. w/ Ele Sus and Toppling, get about 20k pen.

Something to note, you can also use vampires bane over jabs and spam beam. Doing so activates major prophecy, and via passive in dawns wrath, minor sorcery. :)
Yeah - I'd personally wouldn't as doesn't feel templar but it can work. I'd personally use a spamable like crushing shock or elemental weapon then beam to play at range with meteor
Oakensoul already provides Major Sorcery and Prophecy...and beam hits Minor Sorcery.

Nice setup, I run perfected vate lightning with maras and engine guardian. Works pretty good will definitely give this a try
I've fought templars using this and it works but as soon as you break beam their damage just falls off a cliff. They're really reliant on the vate proc and status effects.
Nice but is the build also tanky? I made a Templar build with Mara's Balm, Oaken soul, Fortified Brass or Aetherial Ascension and any one piece bonus. All the jewelry in bloodthirsty and you need to be a vampire. It is amazing and nobody is able to kill you. You can kill the players only with Jesus beam and any damage ulti. The rest of your skill are heals. Choose am race with a lot of spell/weapon damage and your mundus. What do you think @Unified Gaming?
Mara's balm is what makes it very tanky. That set however is getting a massive nerf next patch. The damage is likely due to beam being so strong. I have a build coming out today that you may like. For your setup, I'd personally use another damage set then go vampire stage 3 to get similar effects but more damage. That said, I can see yours working but would be reliant on beam doing the bulk of the damage.
10:02 Rallying Cry
You don’t need impen traits with rallying cry, go well-fitted/sturdy/reinforced.
Impen reduces crits by 2% flat. Reinforced is anywhere from 0.1%-0.6% per piece. I'd go Well fitted if I changed as sturdy won't work due to us not block casting skills.
For reference: full impen and rallying max is around 3.5k impen or 40% crit reduction. People have a flat 50% bonus plus any other sources like medium armour, skills, passives or race. There are no examples where impem would be wasted unless people used malacath which isn't thing in pvp for years now.
Eh, doesn't seem like it would stand up to 1v1 or 1vx in open world pvp. Everything you showed was you and your team against someone
There's videos on patreon showing it in duels and more. I have no issue using this in cyrodiil. This isn't a 1 v x build though but if played well could probably do it against pve players

@canisinumbra deltia isn't a pve player. As I've said before, I can kill fine with this and if you're having issues then look at how you use it 👍

I mean: I can hop on every class with a 2 bars setup and can do well against PvE players. I won’t play 1bar heavy attack builds. The OakenDK meta was brainless and boring enough (at least you has5 buttons to press) but these builds are just laughable.
@canisinumbra I said it isn't designed for 1 v X but any build can pull that off vs pve players. If you're after something more meta hop on dk and abuse that - it's a strong class. Some even say a crutch or carry class.

Unified do you think rush of agony and judgement of akatosh would work well together? One button procs a pull stun and a snare with toppling charge
Rush would be good for aoe damage. I would consider dark convergence or titanic cleave as that scales nicely

You can look to drop regen for damage I.e. use all spell damage glyphs and lover mundus or max stat food.
Honestly though race will rarely break a build period. Consider the race as a flavour if that makes sense.

Thanks. Need a new build and my Sorc melts to DK's. My templar happens to be Breton - any thoughts for accommodations?
I have a 1 bar sorc on the channel which is really solid. Dks however are just very strong this patch so you're best learning to keep them at range then trying to go 1 v 1 - sorc has streak so can teleport away easily.

I think with many builds it comes down to how you play the class. In the video I was fighting Deltia's gaming who is a top end player and didn't die 1v1. If you go too offensive you will die as with any build. Pvp in this game is about timing and waiting for a combo as such I.e. deep fissure + dawnbreaker + skill or haunting curse, endless fury and streak. Each class has a combo that when done well, hits very hard. You need to wait to find the window to land yours and then you'll often kill them. Hope it helps 🙏
Like the build but yes you need to go over the passives etc. we can't tell in the video what you're using really
General rule of thumb: all class passives and armour ones. Racial too. After than I note any key like undeath. There is a written guide on www.unified-gaming.co.uk
Ive a 2 bar build with 6k pen, up to 7.1k spell damage, 32k resistances, 31k hp, 2.1k stam regen and 1.5k mag regen, it is a monster tbh but it is two bar setup
Yeah stacking spell damage is good on plar and isn't too hard with sets like rallying cry and clever alchemist. I have no issues with 2 bar but I tried to make my 1 bar builds competitive with them. Not better but can compete at least.

So I’ve asked Deltia gaming about champion points but got no answer. Is there a minimum you need to have going into cyrodiil or imperial city to sustain well enough as a solo Templar PvE?
600-800 gives 90%+ power. 400cp is the lowest. If no cp, then no issue.

Oof. This build hits like a wet noodle and is not tanky.....at all. You do little to no damage to anything but gankers until your opponent is sub 40% HP.....and good luck getting them there. And if theyve got any interrupts RIP jesus beam.
Switching impen to divines for extra pen might make this build playable but i think im gonna scrap it all together. Some of the other build choice dont seem to be working well either.
I've not had issues myself at all with this and have fought people like Delta's Gaming who I wouldn't say is a bad player. We use javelin before they're sub 40% hp as it bypasses armour so is hitting for 4k a hit which is higher than most spamables.
As always, a build won't fix bad gameplay and if you're having issues then you may need to look at how you're playing before switching gear sets.

You're commenting about how I'm bad at pvp and you didn't even bother to reference the build you made in the video. Lol told you it's shit, you're saying to run a skill that's not even being used in the build YOU submitted 🤣. Kind of proves my point. You only have 5 skill slots and you're wasting two on mist and a purify and leaving jabs as your only damage option, really. Smh
@Jack K I don't use jabs lol pretty clear and I explain that. Maybe re watch it on slow mode so you can follow along easier 😉

@@Unified-Gaming 2 bars DK means you still have to keep buffs up (something Oakensoul users don’t have to) and press more than 1-2 buttons.
DK doesn’t make you a god otherwise we couldn’t kill DKs. Stop this narrative. Yes, the class is performing well (after years of being mediocre at best), however we see after Ash Could fix DKs are dying much faster. They’re on par with Wardens and Templars when it comes to survivability.
@canisinumbra well I'd have to disagree with you on that. If a dk is dying when they have 15k+ burst heals the issue isn't the class 🙄
@@Unified-Gaming Yes, 15k+ burst heals (if it crits! Average PvP builds unless you’re an NB is 20-30% crit chance) alone doesn’t help you against 5+ players, you still need skill.
Btw, NB and Templars, even Necros have 15k+ burst heals when it crits. Which does more often NB.
Warden stacks its heals, and Sorc has to streak (even shield Sorc bc the shields are melting under DoT pressure).
People with your 1 bar two buttons setups who don’t have to keep up buffs zerg me on a daily basis ganging up with corrosive DKs (yes, 1 bar enjoyers too) and beam Templars + gankers and their pocket healers. But sure it’s my skill issue when I die.
