As much as I liked all teen titans villains, I think Terra is the best one of all, because it holds a very close bond with both the audience and the titans, because as much badnas she can do, we know she could've been a good person if she just had the opportunity, a real opportunity that wasn't given her by Sladow
When I first watched Teen Titans, the ending of Aftershock was the first time I was left speechless at a show. I couldn’t believe what just happened, and I loved how beautiful, raw, and respectful the entire episode was.

Some clever use of imagery regarding Terra's hair, too. When she's good, both eyes are visible. When she's being villainous, her hair is covering one eye. Even in that first appearance, she has to push her hair away after crushing the monster! Then in the funhouse mirror scene, her bangs are just partially blocking her eye, showing how indecisive she is in that moment. Finally, in the clip you showed where she talks about it never being too late to change, she pushes the hair away so both eyes are visible again. I doubt I noticed it when the show aired, but it's definitely easy to spot in a video like this.
I think the last Teen Titans episode "Things Change" is a crucial part of Terra's arc, and I actually really like it despite what a lot of the fandom has to say about it.
The more I keep watching analysis videos of Terra, makes me understand and like her character a lot more. She's been out on the road for a year without any proper guidance, affection, and no one to teach her from right or wrong (she may have grew up in a wealthy kingdom of Markovia, but she didn't get a lot of love there, just people teaching her how to be a perfectionist princess - something she hated) I feel like the reason why people hate on her because we see ourselves a lot in her, and I'll admit that I was one of those people that hated her... maybe because she's a lot like me and I hated that. In the end, I sympathize with her. Although, I'm kinda sad that she doesn't want to return to the team, but I've also accepted the fact that she doesn't want anything to do with superhero life and never wanted to be a superhero to begin with, even if she tried. All she wanted is to live a normal life like all of us.
Where does it say that she travels for 1 year? I read that she was sent to the US still a child and if she could not control her powers well when she met the titans. even less control would she have as a child.
When I first watched terra as a kid I thought terra was homeless because her lack of control over her powers killed her family also making her unable to accept criticism which is why she keeps running away Terra was also my introduction to the undeserved redemption so common in modern shows
Well going by the comics things are a bit darker for Terra, but this is a different continuity then the comics, which is more the proven by Terra from the comics being much more of a willing villain then the Terra we see in the cartoon show, that said they did make a series of comics based off of the original cartoon series (ironically the tie in comics where titled Teen Titans Go which makes people think it is related to the "reboot" cartoon with the same name) where they did give the cartoon version of Terra a full backstory.

While my top 2 favorite villains is Red X and Slade imo, still Terra is definitely one of the best well developed villains in Teen Titans OG universe. Her relationship with Teen Titans especially Beast Boy, fear of losing control of her powers, and dealing with Slade will always get in my feels. Only thing I wish for her character is the ending tho :/. Ik its been years since Teen Titans OG last aired, but in case for ppl who didn't get a chance to complete Teen Titans OG (Try to get HBO Max if u want to caught up) SPOILERS I wish the series didn't end on the cliffhanger where Beast Boy found out that Terra returns but discovered that she lost her memory and at the end, Beast Boy can't do anything to restore her memories and have to let her go. I wish the series it continued with how Beast Boy would do to restore Terra's memories or at least explain how Terra returned. But like that will ever happen and while Im depressed Beast Boy had to let Terra go, still im glad at least TTOG Terra lives a peaceful life since she dealt with alot of horrible moments in the past.
Yeah it's so upsetting about here ending. Here's hoping that plotline gets justice some day But same yeah, I'm glad we at least know she's okay and living a normal life(for now)!
God I remember watching that scene where Terra tries to pull off her chest plate and Slade tells her the suit fused to her skin and felt squeamy at the idea of the skin on a girl's chest an breast getting fused with metal and getting pulled at and fade or ripped off.
Terra really is one of my favorite characters and always will be. Even though she is easily misguided and manipulated because of what she has been through before meeting and betraying the Titans and most of all, Beast Boy, who was meant to be her boyfriend, she dumped him by living a normal life at a school without knowing what it might make him feel, because she doesn't know everything about him. I know everything about Beast Boy and most people do not. I believe that Terra is an innocent girl and most people believe that she is just wicked. If Beast Boy continues to suffer more insolence, heartbreak and abandonment and if he doesn't have Terra in his life once again, worse things could happen in the future even if it means that Beast Boy would become a villain like Terra was, because Beast Boy has done all he could to show his courtesy to people around him including the Titans and he does not deserve to be repaid like that.

Terra is great villain of teen titans First time we see her she was insecure girl unable to control her powers and grown afraid of using her powers she killed her parents with said powers Then later she grown more confident in her self and powers to become a teen titan then later it was part of a plan in order that Slade will get the oper hand on them and the city Aftermath terra was fantastic as a villain easily took the teen titans down help Slade conquer the city then she has second thoughts of her betrayal and role of her purpose A sad conclusion Where terra did a noble thing by sacrificing herself to save the day to be a true hero but at what cost
the first time I watched Titans, it was airing on cable, the episode was Betrayal. It speaks volumes about the writing by how fast I connected to Terra and Beast Boy, their little date was perfect until the reveal, I was dumbfounded how everything came collapsing. We were spoiled as kids by being treated to adult themes, not being spoonfed anything. After Betrayal ended, I was in awe and immediately wanted more of the show. Aftershock I came next on the marathon that day, and it messes with my emotions deeply in the way only great films can. The monologue at the start of Aftershock II was insane. The culmination with Terra’s sacrifice left with like I truly had lost a friend. Betrayal made my kid self feel like a girl had truly walked out on me, and Aftershock II’s ending left me sad af. That arc was truly a masterpiece and no show has hooked me and played with my emotions so much as the Terra Arc.
I once had a friend who was obsessed with Terra so much so she made a shrine for Terra in her bedroom. It was kind of creepy especially since I looked a lot like Terra in high school and she was the one who told me herself about the shrine.
Even though Terra is both a hero and a villian, I still consider her neutral at best. To me she was never really "evil" just really emotionally damaged and insecure. When she first met the Titans she wanted to be a hero and she was until Aftershock Parts one and two, but she was decieved by Slade because he promised her control which turned out to be not what she wanted in the end. as I said before and this is just my opinion, I think what Terra wanted was acceptance of who she was more than control. She intially got that acceptance when she met the Titans but was decieved by Slade who led her to believe that the Titans would shun her due to her not being able to control her powers, that was never true ofcourse it was just something Slade planted in her head. But because Terra was already really insecure about herself due to her lack of ability to control her powers, she took the bait. Beastboy never told Robin or the other titans that Terra couldnt control her powers Robin stated very clearly in the episode "Terra" that he figured it out for himself but was still willing to help her. Thats why because of Terra's own personal insecurities about herself that Slade clearly fed off of, I believe she was never meant to be a Titan but simply a friend to the Titans and thats what I considered her to be throughout the series. I really wish Terra's and Beastboy's final moments together in the final episode of the series "Things Changes" were different than what they were. I think its safe to conclude that the "schoolgirl" in the episode is the real Terra and probably deep down still cares about the Titans including Beastboy and always will and that she definetely does remember everything, but due to everything that has happened and her role in it she just wants to move on and live a normal life because she feels guilty for her role in everythings that happened and doesnt want to cause more damage then she already has. I think what Beastboy wanted more than anything and you can see it very clearly in his eyes throughout the final episode is not just for Terra to remember everything but for her to comeback and rejoin the team. Unfortunately when Terra tells beastboy that "Things change" we can conclude that the superhero life was never for her and that her decision to move on and live a normal life is for the best. Its unfortunate that beastboy isnt a part of Terra's new life but I think that has to do more with Terra's own guilty conscience then anythingelse.

Her butterfly accessory also foreshadows her death and offers a lot of symbolism; Winged insects and animals are often symbolic of freedom because of their ability to fly. To be more specific, butterflies often represent change, maturity and sometimes even fleeting youth/beauty and life itself. Given that she found redemption and thus freedom in being turned to stone, the stone-colored accessory foreshadowed her death.
Very nice to see people still talking about Teene Titans and still appreciating the original show. It sucks that it had to end, but I'm glad channels such as yours can still show appreciation for it even now. Terra was definitely one of the most impressive arcs I can remember from the show, and you summed up why perfectly. She was so likable and trustworthy, and yet, the betrayal didn't come out of left field either, and this balance made it so effective. At the same time, the tragedy of her character also perfectly shows why I love Slade as a villain. He's so wonderfully manipulative and powerful in this, and, as a young creator, was one of the first villains I'd seen that wasn't just a destructive rage monster and actually used his wits to get what he wanted to a terrifying degree. It showed me villains could be so much more than that, and how terrifying the cold and calculated ones are. He's one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to villain creation.
The way she "Killed all the titans in such haunting ways and then the Titans go into hiding until they can strike reminds me of tmnt 2003 shedder strikes back
Well, she does appear in the last episode of the series, and she lost her memory. At least, that's what she claims. I don't think it's true though, when she insists to Beast Boy that she doesn't know him, it's just in the way she says it that you get the feeling it's not true. If she is lying, it would make sense. She runs from her problems rather than facing them, and starting a new life means she doesn't have to put in the work to patch up things with her old one.
None of this would’ve happened if Terra where to train to control and improve her abilities and add muscles to that Noodle and ham body of her’s. But I’m also glad that it didn’t happen because then Terra wouldn’t exist in the show.

@@frenchfries2998 At the very least she remembers some of her past with the Titans or else why would she have told BB" Things were never the way you remember "The only other way her saying that makes any sense is if you go with the theory that BB is suffering a mental breakdown and the whole scene is taking place in his mind. Look I get the message the writers were going for with Things Change that sometimes people aren't meant to be in your life forever and even though it can be hard/painful part of growing up is learning to let go and move on. I personally would have preferred it if Terra had been happy to see Beast Boy but explained to him that she was happy with her new life and was over the superhero/villain drama and just wanted to be a normal girl. I feel the message of letting go would still have been conveyed but would have shown more growth and development for Terra.

I actually quite enjoy Go on occasion, it's pretty funny if you can separate it from the source material. With that being said, I don't like her portrayal in Go at all lmao. I think I could come up with a better parody of her

it makes me sad that she couldnt just ask for help in the beginning i think everyone needs help with trying to control her powers regardless of whether the decide to be a superhero or not and i understand why she felt beast boy betrayed her trust but to me trying to hide that you can't control your powers is about as easy as hiding an addiction or something people notice things
I honestly think she didn’t ask for help because of negative expirences in the past. She gets really scared and angry at the thought of anyone else knowing about her lack of control. And when she thought beast boy told the others she left in anger. She probably had multiple people in the past or something that reacted negatively in the past to her powers

As a villain Terra is...ok. She serves her purpose well enough as a powerful antagonist who was once a friend to the TTs. However, I never got behind her motivations even when I was younger watching the show for the first time. She goes from being afraid of hurting others with her powers and wanting to be friends with the TTs to selling her soul to one other the most evil characters on the show in a plot to kill the TTs and hurt...a lot of people. All this because Beast Boy "broke his promise" not to tattle on her. Boo hoo. The only complexity I really get from her is her reluctance to hurt BB. And even then, all it shows is the writers reluctance to full commit to her being a villain. If you like Terra that's fine, but I just never got invested beyond her cool powers.
This is just a little late from their last released season, but I kind of wish that they would do the final season. I remember being a kid watching this show and it made me so sad and left me feeling empty when they just didn't do the final season.
As a Terra fan, Toph can beat this Terra since she doesn't have that much experience with her powers (you can literally tell since she mostly throw boarders). But comic Terra would beat Toph easily. Why? Because she can control magma aswell. So Toph would be burn to a crisp.
The episodes of her were sooo sad growing up. You think ugh just choose good! You could be with the teen titans! But later on you can see what loneliness, insecurity, lack of confidence, etc can do to you

I'm glad Teen Titans didn't have the awful plotline of Terra wanting fuck Slade. Genuinely one of the worst concepts to come out of the comics. Teen Titans manages to make Terra a more believable and likable character due to her conflicted nature. Do you help the person who saved you from poverty, abuse and struggle despite ultimately being a tool for them; or do help those who have accepted you for who you are and don't see as a tool, but as an individual. Truly a great character that I wish got developed further and had a more conclusive ending

bb can retrieve her memories in 2 ways. 1. Showing the photos of the appointment they had. 2. By having Raven touch her (I think she could restore or see people's memories). In any case, she would know if BB is lying. Lately there is talk of a new theory that indicates that she is not the original Terra and that it may be a dream of BB. The doppleranger arc comes into play here. Slade said that Terra's suit was part of her and that he couldn't take it off. So now I think you no longer see the end in the same way. This ending is forced and I think they used Terra just to give a peotic and philosophical ending to the series. and at the same time give a "peace" to BB. the last season should have 20 episodes. I doubt that the final chapter we saw is the 20th, in my opinion they only forced it due to the pressure that we already know
I'm actually split on Terra. On one hand, I perfectly understand her tragedy and situation, and that traumatic events can really twist people's personalities, and I give her credit for being probably the only morally-grey and complex villain in TT while all the other villains are clear-cut bad guys. On the other hand, for me she lost all her likeability and chance of redemption in Aftershock, and like the Titans, I lost sympathy for her, and her sacrifice didn't completely make up for what she did in my eyes. I even think the Titans were too forgiving and lenient with her in the finale
I think they forgave her because she did sacrifice for life at the end. And at the end of the day that was the biggest act she could’ve done. They understood how manipulated she was by him(especially Robin) and they know at the end she regretted it. So they choose to remember terra as how she was before she died instead of her mistakes

So on one hand I'd like to believe she redeemed herself but when you really think about it at the end of the day she was just fixing the problem she had created. by the end of Aftershock, she did realize that Slade never cared about her and was just using her. Her choice at that point was either to die a hero or live as a slave.
I can forgive Terra for her involvement with Slade and all that (She was just lost, alone, and manipulated, and she did redeem herself for it) But I will NEVER... EVER forgive her for how she behaved on that awful *Things Change* ep. She never lost her memory and was willingly trying to bat BB off just so she could live a normal life. Too cold to handle.
I understand where you're coming from but I don't think she did it to be cold she just had a lot of guilt for what she did and just didn't want to hurt Beast Boy or anybody else ever again with her destructive powers So she gave them up in order to forget the past and in order for Beast Boy to leave her alone she had to go tell him she didn't remember otherwise he wouldn't have gave up on her if she said she did I do think that the episode could've been better if they cut the whole creature thing and have all the Titans have a little heart to heart with her with Beast Boy's being last and emotional then they go their separate ways with her owning up to her mistake and the Titans telling Terra they forgive her

Great video but in my opinion the girl that Beast Boy saw in the school in not Terra she her school friends the students the teachers and the school are all an allusion created by Slade because Terra died when she got turnd to stone when she stoped the volcano from erupting to support this when theTitans found out that there favoret stores where gone that corner was right accrosse the street as Terras High School and when the Titans were there the School was not beighnd them but when Beast Boy was there by him self the school was there at the exact spot where it was not when all 5 Titans was and when Terras friends where protecting Terra from Beast Boy they had no idea who he was even though he and the Titans saved the city many times and the students had no idea who he was also and the teachers and staff did not tell him to get out or kick him out this was Slades way of telling Beast Boy that Terra is never coming back she is dead and if she did come back this is the life she will choose. If Terra did come back why whould she stay in Jump City that she wanted to take over with Slade and did all these crimes in and wouldent someone from the school and Jump City reconize her as the former sixth Teen Titan member who betrayed the Titans and they would throgh her in jail for it she would of whent to another city or town far away from Jump City and started a normal life there where no one will know who she is just think about it Terra may be messed up and confused but she is not stuped also in the Teen Titans Go comic when Terras brother came to Jump City to find Terra and bring her back to Markovia (her birth place) Slade let him see the allusion.
Also she come back in the last season and just become normal school girl who didn't want any thing to do with the teen titans ever again. I don't know if she really forget them or not? Or she was faking it? But it was a cliffhanger for jure. And the teen titans go happened and we never find out because season 6 never happened. The worst part is, is these when teen titans go the movie come out, they said that if a lot of people come to see the movie they would bring back the old teen titans and have season 6 for jure but that never happened and they continued teen titans go in stand and made an other movie of it too. Which I like a lot more then the first one it's beacues its about raven.

When I first watched terra as a kid I thought terra was homeless because her lack of control over her powers killed her family also making her unable to accept criticism which is why she keeps running away
Terra was also my introduction to the undeserved redemption so common in modern shows
Well going by the comics things are a bit darker for Terra, but this is a different continuity then the comics, which is more the proven by Terra from the comics being much more of a willing villain then the Terra we see in the cartoon show, that said they did make a series of comics based off of the original cartoon series (ironically the tie in comics where titled Teen Titans Go which makes people think it is related to the "reboot" cartoon with the same name) where they did give the cartoon version of Terra a full backstory.

Yes she’s at fault for her actions but not entirely. And when she finally had one last chance to redeem herself, she sacrificed her life to save the city

I feel it greatly detracts from her character arc. aftershock was all about her learning to take responsibility but when we see her again she has regressed back to running from her problems. While my top 2 favorite villains is Red X and Slade imo, still Terra is definitely one of the best well developed villains in Teen Titans OG universe. Her relationship with Teen Titans especially Beast Boy, fear of losing control of her powers, and dealing with Slade will always get in my feels. Only thing I wish for her character is the ending tho :/. Ik its been years since Teen Titans OG last aired, but in case for ppl who didn't get a chance to complete Teen Titans OG (Try to get HBO Max if u want to caught up) SPOILERS
I wish the series didn't end on the cliffhanger where Beast Boy found out that Terra returns but discovered that she lost her memory and at the end, Beast Boy can't do anything to restore her memories and have to let her go. I wish the series it continued with how Beast Boy would do to restore Terra's memories or at least explain how Terra returned. But like that will ever happen and while Im depressed Beast Boy had to let Terra go, still im glad at least TTOG Terra lives a peaceful life since she dealt with alot of horrible moments in the past.
Yeah it's so upsetting about here ending. Here's hoping that plotline gets justice some day

God I remember watching that scene where Terra tries to pull off her chest plate and Slade tells her the suit fused to her skin and felt squeamy at the idea of the skin on a girl's chest an breast getting fused with metal and getting pulled at and fade or ripped off.

Terra really is one of my favorite characters and always will be. Even though she is easily misguided and manipulated because of what she has been through before meeting and betraying the Titans and most of all, Beast Boy, who was meant to be her boyfriend, she dumped him by living a normal life at a school without knowing what it might make him feel, because she doesn't know everything about him. I know everything about Beast Boy and most people do not. I believe that Terra is an innocent girl and most people believe that she is just wicked. If Beast Boy continues to suffer more insolence, heartbreak and abandonment and if he doesn't have Terra in his life once again, worse things could happen in the future even if it means that Beast Boy would become a villain like Terra was, because Beast Boy has done all he could to show his courtesy to people around him including the Titans and he does not deserve to be repaid like that.

First time we see her she was insecure girl unable to control her powers and grown afraid of using her powers she killed her parents with said powers
Then later she grown more confident in her self and powers to become a teen titan then later it was part of a plan in order that Slade will get the oper hand on them and the city
Aftermath terra was fantastic as a villain easily took the teen titans down help Slade conquer the city then she has second thoughts of her betrayal and role of her purpose

Where terra did a noble thing by sacrificing herself to save the day to be a true hero but at what cost

Like I'm ready for the TOH hiatus, I have experience (this cliffhanger + the SU hiatuses)
the first time I watched Titans, it was airing on cable, the episode was Betrayal. It speaks volumes about the writing by how fast I connected to Terra and Beast Boy, their little date was perfect until the reveal, I was dumbfounded how everything came collapsing. We were spoiled as kids by being treated to adult themes, not being spoonfed anything. After Betrayal ended, I was in awe and immediately wanted more of the show. Aftershock I came next on the marathon that day, and it messes with my emotions deeply in the way only great films can. The monologue at the start of Aftershock II was insane. The culmination with Terra’s sacrifice left with like I truly had lost a friend. Betrayal made my kid self feel like a girl had truly walked out on me, and Aftershock II’s ending left me sad af. That arc was truly a masterpiece and no show has hooked me and played with my emotions so much as the Terra Arc.
I once had a friend who was obsessed with Terra so much so she made a shrine for Terra in her bedroom. It was kind of creepy especially since I looked a lot like Terra in high school and she was the one who told me herself about the shrine.
Even though Terra is both a hero and a villian, I still consider her neutral at best. To me she was never really "evil" just really emotionally damaged and insecure. When she first met the Titans she wanted to be a hero and she was until Aftershock Parts one and two, but she was decieved by Slade because he promised her control which turned out to be not what she wanted in the end. as I said before and this is just my opinion, I think what Terra wanted was acceptance of who she was more than control. She intially got that acceptance when she met the Titans but was decieved by Slade who led her to believe that the Titans would shun her due to her not being able to control her powers, that was never true ofcourse it was just something Slade planted in her head. But because Terra was already really insecure about herself due to her lack of ability to control her powers, she took the bait. Beastboy never told Robin or the other titans that Terra couldnt control her powers Robin stated very clearly in the episode "Terra" that he figured it out for himself but was still willing to help her. Thats why because of Terra's own personal insecurities about herself that Slade clearly fed off of, I believe she was never meant to be a Titan but simply a friend to the Titans and thats what I considered her to be throughout the series. I really wish Terra's and Beastboy's final moments together in the final episode of the series "Things Changes" were different than what they were. I think its safe to conclude that the "schoolgirl" in the episode is the real Terra and probably deep down still cares about the Titans including Beastboy and always will and that she definetely does remember everything, but due to everything that has happened and her role in it she just wants to move on and live a normal life because she feels guilty for her role in everythings that happened and doesnt want to cause more damage then she already has. I think what Beastboy wanted more than anything and you can see it very clearly in his eyes throughout the final episode is not just for Terra to remember everything but for her to comeback and rejoin the team. Unfortunately when Terra tells beastboy that "Things change" we can conclude that the superhero life was never for her and that her decision to move on and live a normal life is for the best. Its unfortunate that beastboy isnt a part of Terra's new life but I think that has to do more with Terra's own guilty conscience then anythingelse.

Her butterfly accessory also foreshadows her death and offers a lot of symbolism;
Winged insects and animals are often symbolic of freedom because of their ability to fly. To be more specific, butterflies often represent change, maturity and sometimes even fleeting youth/beauty and life itself. Given that she found redemption and thus freedom in being turned to stone, the stone-colored accessory foreshadowed her death.
Terra made me so sad as a kid especially the ambiguity of the girl who may or may not have been her at the end?

Very nice to see people still talking about Teene Titans and still appreciating the original show. It sucks that it had to end, but I'm glad channels such as yours can still show appreciation for it even now. Terra was definitely one of the most impressive arcs I can remember from the show, and you summed up why perfectly. She was so likable and trustworthy, and yet, the betrayal didn't come out of left field either, and this balance made it so effective. At the same time, the tragedy of her character also perfectly shows why I love Slade as a villain. He's so wonderfully manipulative and powerful in this, and, as a young creator, was one of the first villains I'd seen that wasn't just a destructive rage monster and actually used his wits to get what he wanted to a terrifying degree. It showed me villains could be so much more than that, and how terrifying the cold and calculated ones are. He's one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to villain creation.
The way she "Killed all the titans in such haunting ways and then the Titans go into hiding until they can strike reminds me of tmnt 2003 shedder strikes back

Well, she does appear in the last episode of the series, and she lost her memory. At least, that's what she claims. I don't think it's true though, when she insists to Beast Boy that she doesn't know him, it's just in the way she says it that you get the feeling it's not true.
If she is lying, it would make sense. She runs from her problems rather than facing them, and starting a new life means she doesn't have to put in the work to patch up things with her old one.

None of this would’ve happened if Terra where to train to control and improve her abilities and add muscles to that Noodle and ham body of her’s. But I’m also glad that it didn’t happen because then Terra wouldn’t exist in the show.

And even if it was like that she still took responsibility in the end when she killed slade to amend for her mistakes. After that she wouldn’t want to be a hero or a villain or have anything to do with her powers
@@frenchfries2998 At the very least she remembers some of her past with the Titans or else why would she have told BB" Things were never the way you remember "The only other way her saying that makes any sense is if you go with the theory that BB is suffering a mental breakdown and the whole scene is taking place in his mind. Look I get the message the writers were going for with Things Change that sometimes people aren't meant to be in your life forever and even though it can be hard/painful part of growing up is learning to let go and move on. I personally would have preferred it if Terra had been happy to see Beast Boy but explained to him that she was happy with her new life and was over the superhero/villain drama and just wanted to be a normal girl. I feel the message of letting go would still have been conveyed but would have shown more growth and development for Terra.

If I’m being honest with you, I prefer the Terra form the original Teen Titans, over the version of her form Go.
I actually quite enjoy Go on occasion, it's pretty funny if you can separate it from the source material. With that being said, I don't like her portrayal in Go at all lmao. I think I could come up with a better parody of her

it makes me sad that she couldnt just ask for help in the beginning i think everyone needs help with trying to control her powers regardless of whether the decide to be a superhero or not and i understand why she felt beast boy betrayed her trust but to me trying to hide that you can't control your powers is about as easy as hiding an addiction or something people notice things
I honestly think she didn’t ask for help because of negative expirences in the past. She gets really scared and angry at the thought of anyone else knowing about her lack of control. And when she thought beast boy told the others she left in anger. She probably had multiple people in the past or something that reacted negatively in the past to her powers
i have to say i don't things change was as bad as some people make it out to be but the constroversy is deserved it definetly feels like an odd way to end the show i think terra like a superhero life wasn't for her and i don't blame her things change may close terra arc well but as an ending it lacks finality@@frenchfries2998

As a villain Terra is...ok. She serves her purpose well enough as a powerful antagonist who was once a friend to the TTs. However, I never got behind her motivations even when I was younger watching the show for the first time. She goes from being afraid of hurting others with her powers and wanting to be friends with the TTs to selling her soul to one other the most evil characters on the show in a plot to kill the TTs and hurt...a lot of people. All this because Beast Boy "broke his promise" not to tattle on her. Boo hoo. The only complexity I really get from her is her reluctance to hurt BB. And even then, all it shows is the writers reluctance to full commit to her being a villain. If you like Terra that's fine, but I just never got invested beyond her cool powers.
What about the episode of Terra returning? Did she REALLY lose her memory or is she faking because she wants to move on and forget? 🤔

This is just a little late from their last released season, but I kind of wish that they would do the final season. I remember being a kid watching this show and it made me so sad and left me feeling empty when they just didn't do the final season.
If you wanna know what happens to Terra after the show ended read the comics, major twist and lure happens.
This just makes me miss the original show even more... TTG! is such a spit in the face and it seems to still be going strong unfortunately.

Why Do people Think Toph can beat Terra?Terra can Levitate.
As a Terra fan, Toph can beat this Terra since she doesn't have that much experience with her powers (you can literally tell since she mostly throw boarders).
But comic Terra would beat Toph easily. Why? Because she can control magma aswell. So Toph would be burn to a crisp.
The episodes of her were sooo sad growing up. You think ugh just choose good! You could be with the teen titans!

I'm glad Teen Titans didn't have the awful plotline of Terra wanting fuck Slade. Genuinely one of the worst concepts to come out of the comics. Teen Titans manages to make Terra a more believable and likable character due to her conflicted nature. Do you help the person who saved you from poverty, abuse and struggle despite ultimately being a tool for them; or do help those who have accepted you for who you are and don't see as a tool, but as an individual.

bb can retrieve her memories in 2 ways. 1. Showing the photos of the appointment they had. 2. By having Raven touch her (I think she could restore or see people's memories). In any case, she would know if BB is lying.
Lately there is talk of a new theory that indicates that she is not the original Terra and that it may be a dream of BB. The doppleranger arc comes into play here. Slade said that Terra's suit was part of her and that he couldn't take it off.
So now I think you no longer see the end in the same way.
This ending is forced and I think they used Terra just to give a peotic and philosophical ending to the series. and at the same time give a "peace" to BB. the last season should have 20 episodes. I doubt that the final chapter we saw is the 20th, in my opinion they only forced it due to the pressure that we already know

I'm actually split on Terra. On one hand, I perfectly understand her tragedy and situation, and that traumatic events can really twist people's personalities, and I give her credit for being probably the only morally-grey and complex villain in TT while all the other villains are clear-cut bad guys. On the other hand, for me she lost all her likeability and chance of redemption in Aftershock, and like the Titans, I lost sympathy for her, and her sacrifice didn't completely make up for what she did in my eyes. I even think the Titans were too forgiving and lenient with her in the finale
I think they forgave her because she did sacrifice for life at the end. And at the end of the day that was the biggest act she could’ve done. They understood how manipulated she was by him(especially Robin) and they know at the end she regretted it. So they choose to remember terra as how she was before she died instead of her mistakes

So on one hand I'd like to believe she redeemed herself but when you really think about it at the end of the day she was just fixing the problem she had created. by the end of Aftershock, she did realize that Slade never cared about her and was just using her. Her choice at that point was either to die a hero or live as a slave.
I can forgive Terra for her involvement with Slade and all that (She was just lost, alone, and manipulated, and she did redeem herself for it) But I will NEVER... EVER forgive her for how she behaved on that awful *Things Change* ep. She never lost her memory and was willingly trying to bat BB off just so she could live a normal life. Too cold to handle.

So she gave them up in order to forget the past and in order for Beast Boy to leave her alone she had to go tell him she didn't remember otherwise he wouldn't have gave up on her if she said she did I do think that the episode could've been better if they cut the whole creature thing and have all the Titans have a little heart to heart with her with Beast Boy's being last and emotional then they go their separate ways with her owning up to her mistake and the Titans telling Terra they forgive her

That is completely reprehensible: A guy who loves you, is more than willing to forgive you, and could still give you love and all the things you could want... and you kick him out just because YOU WANT to forget him (including the good times)
In the end, Terra is being plain selfish, only thinking of herself. She doesn't care how BB feels or what happens to him... just as long as she gets what she wants.
This cannot go unpunished...

Great video but in my opinion the girl that Beast Boy saw in the school in not Terra she her school friends the students the teachers and the school are all an allusion created by Slade because Terra died when she got turnd to stone when she stoped the volcano from erupting to support this when theTitans found out that there favoret stores where gone that corner was right accrosse the street as Terras High School and when the Titans were there the School was not beighnd them but when Beast Boy was there by him self the school was there at the exact spot where it was not when all 5 Titans was and when Terras friends where protecting Terra from Beast Boy they had no idea who he was even though he and the Titans saved the city many times and the students had no idea who he was also and the teachers and staff did not tell him to get out or kick him out this was Slades way of telling Beast Boy that Terra is never coming back she is dead and if she did come back this is the life she will choose. If Terra did come back why whould she stay in Jump City that she wanted to take over with Slade and did all these crimes in and wouldent someone from the school and Jump City reconize her as the former sixth Teen Titan member who betrayed the Titans and they would throgh her in jail for it she would of whent to another city or town far away from Jump City and started a normal life there where no one will know who she is just think about it Terra may be messed up and confused but she is not stuped also in the Teen Titans Go comic when Terras brother came to Jump City to find Terra and bring her back to Markovia (her birth place) Slade let him see the allusion.

Or she was faking it? But it was a cliffhanger for jure. And the teen titans go happened and we never find out because season 6 never happened. The worst part is, is these when teen titans go the movie come out, they said that if a lot of people come to see the movie they would bring back the old teen titans and have season 6 for jure but that never happened and they continued teen titans go in stand and made an other movie of it too. Which I like a lot more then the first one it's beacues its about raven.
Yeah it was weird of them to make a big deal about the movie doing well = season 6 and then just... silence. Haven't given up hope yet though
