Despite being focused on the town itself, Gravity Falls has a LOT of connections with other cartoons such as The Owl House, Rick and Morty and Amphibia! So today we're going to recap and explain every major crossover the series has - from Eda Clawthorne being Stan Pines' ex-wife, to Ford and Rick Sanchez's implied interdimensional bromance to multiverse counterparts such as Stan Ponds and Frog Soos from Wax Museum! This is EVERY Gravity Falls Crossover explained!

I love how Gravity Falls is just referenced every where since it was basically the platform for a new generation of cartoons while also pushing the boundaries of creepy and lore.
Amphibia did the same to reference Pepper Ann by sneaking Pepper Ann Pearson into two crowd shots of All In, and Amphibia and The Owl House also have indirect but solid crossover connections each other in the episodes If You Give A Frog A Cookie and King's Tide. If Marcy Wu wanted to return to Amphibia after reuniting with Anne Boonchuy and Sasha Waybright, I think they could use some help from Pepper Ann Pearson and Luz Noceda. Pepper Ann Pearson because she might help them generate more song power for Terri's new portal, and Luz Noceda because she has experience with traveling through extraterrestrial portals, and she already found a way to reunite with all of her friends from The Boiling Isles in Watching And Dreaming. I LOVE it sooo much that the big Disney cartoons of the last decade The Owl House, Amphibia and Gravity Falls all play in the same universe!!! It's so cute that Alex Hirsch, Dana Terrace and Matt Braly are friends too. I'm so thankful to them for creating this amazing cartoons.
🤔Maybe the people making those shows could all reunite for a multiversal crossover storyline like the CW had with all of their DC comic shows in their Crisis On Infinite Earths, which also crossed over with many earlier DC properties like Batman (the 1966 series and the 1989 film), Superman the 1978 film, Smallville, Superman Returns, The Flash's 1990 series, and even the DC Extended Universe's Flash. Bill seems to hold a grudge against Belos, implying that Belos summoned Bill at some point, and being Belos, proceeded to double-cross the little devil. I can't imagine that did him any favours.
Man, I would totally loved to see a spin-off in which Eda and Stan are married and spends their days like racing hell!

I really hope that Disney Channel makes an official crossover. They haven't done one since Milo Murphy's Law crossover with Phineas and Ferb.

Matter of fact, the book of Bill connected both universes together and it's also Canon. That star versus the forces of evil is also Canon in the multiverse

Now that you mentioned it, I've always had an idea to make a crossover game specifically for Disney shows. Whenever I have the time to watch a shitload of shows, and figure out how to use Dreams PS4 properly, I'd probably make it either an adventure game or a fighting game

I love how Disney TVA is the only franchise that treats the multiverse as an everyday thing. And every cartoon is technically canon to one another. Let's hope to build hype for a Dwampy-Verse crossover.
I'm not caught up on Rick and Morty, but I'm pretty sure at one point it was relieved that the show takes place entirely in a small section of the multiverse where Rick is the smartest person alive. What if Ford is actually smarter than Rick, and has been mostly traveling in different universes than Rick, and the portal under the mystery shack is the original one that can access ricks set of universes

I think this just shows how much gravity falls influenced cartoons and story writing. The series has an overaching storyline, left clues and mysteries for the fans to find out, an "interesting" sense of humor for a kids show and of course having created the most ICONIC villain in all of cartoons: BILL CIPHER!

I vividly remember seeing a Star vs. The Forces of Evil episode where the exact same tourists from Gravity Falls appear translated to the show's art style.
It may not have been major and could just be a budgetary thing with character models, but it sort of implies a timeline connection between the two shows

About the Rick and Morty thing, what if Rick wiped his mind of Stanford to prevent Bill Cipher from invading his own mind. For even more fun Rick designed the metal plate in Stan's head or installed it. We know how Rick feels about godlike beings.

Thought-process regarding a show not mentioned here but in Bill’s book:
With how Bill had interviews asking questions regarding other Disney shows (mainly Amphibia and The Owl House), I’m expecting some reference to him in Phineas and Ferb’s two season revival given how he was asked if he was Phineas’ biological father, and he stopped the interview when he was asked that. Always a fun fan-theory given they’re both Disney’s iconic intelligent doritos, but what makes me question if there was actually some ties to the theory (not in terms of Bill being the father Dan Povenmire was clear that Phineas’ original father was never that important to know) was from one of Disney TVA’s Instagram posts, which was a slideshow that gave a the cosplay items for a few characters as well as something in their search history.
Phineas was one of the those characters, and the piece of search history the staff gave him was something along the lines of how turn a triangle head into a normal head. Now, most likely scenario, Phineas was either getting bullied for or feeling insecure about the shape of his head, which is sad because that’s what makes him so iconic to us. BUT what if it’s because that shape is iconic to ANOTHER highly intelligent Disney character who is so psychopathic that Phineas is aware of and doesn’t wanna have any associations with…? What if Phineas’ design is enough like Bill’s to give Bill another peephole and, ironically, another vessel?
Very long-winded stretch, I know, but it’s interesting to think about. I will forever keep this headcanon of mine, even if it is false.

Could have sworn that Star Vs. also sort of referenced Gravity Falls once at one point. Yeah, pet peeve alert here: I dunno why the book barely references that verse. It's a Disney TVA show, too. Even Wander Over Yonder has a GF connection thanks to one episode's credit scene. Is Alex just too nervous to touch on that show because it was created by someone who didn't work in his show? I dunno man, it just bothers me a bit.
King being the reincarnation of bill cipher wasn't the only reincarnation theory. Some people even specutalted that he got reincarnated as stanley pines. After book of bill though, i have a new theory. Bill is indeed both stanley and king but at the same time isn't. I am following the classic theory of pararrel universus and i think king and stanley pines aren't reincarnations of bill but rather different versions of him from their own universe. Lookig at the connections on all three of them you can actually see they have some things in common.
Bill to stan
-Both felt outcasted back at their own home( bill by his people and stan by his own dad)
-Both made a mistake which not just ruined their own lifes but also made sure they could never come home( Bill accidentally destroying his home dimensions and stan accidentaly ruining ford's project which caused his dad to kick him out of the house and tell him unless he gets money, he can't return home)
-Both being conartists
-And both having a deep connection with ford pines( Bill viewing ford as his favorite "toy" and stan and ford being brothers)
Bill to king
-Both being the last of their kind
-Both seeing as the mascot of their series
-Both being literal gods
-Both having a ego(well used to have one in king's case)
If this theory whould be true, it whould also be interesting. It whould mean that stan and king are what bill whould be if he had genuine and healty releatsionship with the people close to them, matured as a person and actually found the happiness bill was seeking his entire life.
I want Bill Cipher to visit other Disney animated shows besides these 3
