I don’t have any wood laying around so I use plastic water bottles in the bottom of my beds . I love those beds And the soil you bought is beautiful . I always plant sweet William and it looks like you have iris one of my favorites . Your sweet William has seed pods you can shake into a bag . Mother Nature is watering for you ! Your grandma is so sweet out there watering. I remember those videos where you stayed in their place wonderful neighbors and this is a Wonderful video thank you so much ! 🌹🌸🌹

Good neighbours are worth their weight in gold. We have 2 great Neighbours beside us and 2 sticky noses that think they run the area. And actually have had altercations with the other neighbours beside me and down the side st. I’m the corner property. It will look lovely once the plants are settled

I have 8 raised beds, luv mine. Easier on the back. I filled mine with cardboard boxes, small sticks, and leaves, bout 2\4 full, then finish with dirt n compost. I got mine off of Amazon.
I have a couple of these raised beds and I kept scratching my arms on the rim of the metal, So my husband bought some Bike inertubes cut them down the middle slotted them onto the rim edges, he added non toxic glue inside the rubber tubing so it stayed in place it works perfect.
looked up land guard...good prices and great variety. exactly what i want for our new home. plan on purchasing for 2025 as i don't want to move house to house. thanks for sharing!.
I’m in central Washington state. We get feet of snow and sub zero temps in the winter. I never have been able to keep perennials alive in raised beds. I think it is because the roots are not protected from the cold temps as much being in a raised bed
I certainly hope you have better luck with that dirt than I did. I put a lot of money into filling 3 raised beds with it and not to mention the plants I’ve put in it and everything dies. 😔 it’s such a hard woody brand. Every bag I open was a lot of big chunks of wood. Even amending it and it’s still killing plants. I won’t waste my money on it anymore. There was another TH-camr I watch that did reviews on like 10 different soils and this came up in one of the lasts spots also. But I wish you nothing but the best. I love watching your channel and enjoy your content would just hate to see your hard work wasted as well.

Did you contact the company where you got your dirt to try and get a better price when you need so much I'm thinking about contacting Lowe's or Menards to see if I can buy what they have at the end of the season at a lower discount
