bugs me so much when I check out a review video and the person is just standing in front of the camera for 10 minutes talking, and MAYBE gets to some footage of them using the tool.
Good point. I don't speak in my videos but wanted to make some "silent reviews". I thought it would be weird though. I guess it the tool isn't too complicated and needs explanations than it would be fine.
This video was really informative as I am new to routing and bought a couple of molding bits and was not sure how to use them. This video taught me a lot.
Que bonito, la verdad aqui en mi país muchos nos hacemos eso en varias pasadas mas tiempo mas complicado y no todo el tiempo queda perfecto como se ve en el video gracias 👍👍
Nice, I was thinking you could make a jig to hold the wood at different angles insted of just 90dgr like crown is shaped Becuse the routers always going to be st 90 dgr you need a jig that can holt it at 22.5. 45. 60. Or any angle off of 90 you decide would look good, for picture frames some frames are just that over a canvas.
Please do an update after some hard use. I'm always sceptical that these work great out of the box but might lose their edge or have their bearings burned down after a short while.
you can replace the bearings those things are cheap , im using the smaller outers that come in a box and they last me in hobby use for about 20 years now , even routed through some bradnails ocasionally by accident , think the most importand question would be how well do the matched pair routers work like for making raised cabinet doors
These bits seem to do a great job. The question is : For how long will they keep performing like this. This said, thank you for taking the time to show us your experience Mister Je. :-)
very good video, my congratulations. I would like you to help me with a question: I want to know if you make or can recommend who can manufacture custom router bits according to my product draws.
1959Berre MDF is hard on cutting tools! We used to do a production job using MDF that required flat bottomed holes cut with Forstner bits. Didn’t matter what brand we used from cheap Chinese to CMT and Freud, they all dulled rather quickly tho the better brands did last longer. MDF is very abrasive for some reason. I suspect the glues and binders they use in producing it.
I bought this brand before, never again. Horrible vibration, my router cabinet almost vibrated off the table. Just pay the extra money for the better brand, it's worth it.
I am glad to see these in use ! I have several of these bits, but have not been able to use them yet due to a new job. Thank you for your review and all the vids you have done. BTW, what horse power is the router that you are using?
I have done it in the same way for many many years, almost every day and i have never had problems, just keep your fingers away an feed the wood slowly.
Thanks I am a beginner in this but I know I will succeed in the future. Thank for your class and the sharing your knowledge. Grettings from Puerto Rico.
Ill stick with Whiteside, Freud, and Infinity router bits. I like bits that will make consistently clean cuts project after project. Those cheap router bits may be good for one project, but they are garbage for the next. They just don't hold an edge. Besides that. I am just not going to skimp on something that will will be spinning up to 20,000 RPM in my face.
Great review, wasn't expecting them to be any good without some serious sharpening.Just one question, were you paid for this? Not that there is anything wrong with that but it would be nice to know.
Wemja TH-cam requires paid promotion (including free products) to be disclosed very clearly with an annotation or caption as part of their monetization agreement. He shows his receipt (~$2) to show that he paid for the bits.

I don’t know dick about wood working, but it looks as if you need a gate to hold the board against the cutter. Put a bolt up thru the table beside the cutter. Put a round roller over the bolt. Now the roller will squeeze the board into the cutter head and keep the proper distance set. To change the distance use a thinner or thicker roller on the bolt. Should work. But with climb milling the board will jam. Don’t climb mill.
out of interest, why do i see everyone that makes 'stuff' - jigs, attachments etc, they seem to all have these plastic premade pushblocks? they're stupidly expensive and surely should be easy to make!?
One of the only makers on youtube that can do a "review" video without talking. Nothing but action and results. My man!

"Unboxings" are even worse. Why is it so difficult to understand that I don't need to see 4 minutes of footage of cutting a box open!
Do you speak Chinese? Lol!!!!!!!!
No annoying music, either.
Excellent video, no time wasting yapping, and no pop up adds, first class.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Thanks for your skilfull woodworking videos. I'm a fan of them here in Brazil.
A big WOW from me... love the finishes. Really nice details
I never wear long sleeves when woodworking. Nice bits.
Thank you for the volume warning in the captions!

never seen the bird’s mouth bit, is it only useful for that type of box you made?
i like the profile bits, those look great
That box is neat to look at.
Nice, I was thinking you could make a jig to hold the wood at different angles insted of just 90dgr like crown is shaped

You can resharpen the carbide
very good video, my congratulations.

I want to know if you make or can recommend who can manufacture custom router bits according to my product draws.
I'd like to know the name of the block pusher he's using and where I might purchase one!
Isn't that the ''Microjig, maker of the gripper'' thing you hear everywhere?
Really amazing bits, man... Fantastic!
Muy Buen Video Didáctico.
*¡¡¡ BUEN TRABAJO !!!*
the question is how long can they be used before they need to be sharpened?
Hello, which sliding stick do you use there? Could you send me a link to this?
Have they had a lot of use? If so, do they hold an edge? And are the bearings good?
Beautiful router table!
What is the name of the bit the two and a half one tha make the door rail
they make a clean cut and look good, but, how long do they last cutting like that?
That would depend on the hardness of the material: pine, oak, walnut, MDF...
John Acuff, it's the glue. For the same reason that glue joints are hard on cutting knives.
So it's name bird's mouth molding, I need it to make lathe machine but metal.
Хорошая работа. Лайк. Вот интересно мне,как поведёт себя фреза на длинных деталях-не перегреется ли она??

It is 3 1/2 horse power,
Why on earth do you run your fingers over the cutter? First rule day one machine training never put fingers in cutter zone.....
Excellent cutters and excellent overview).
How have you managed to keep all your fingers?
I have done it in the same way for many many years, almost every day and i have never had problems, just keep your fingers away an feed the wood slowly.
All the Safety Sallys keep him in line. Because you know, he can't just be real careful.
Do they have it in 6mm shank? Looks great to me👌😊

Do you have tested the shutter bit?
I watch this because I wanted to hear you talk. Who does review without talking? Nice job!
Yes very good router bit and very good worker thank you
Layman question: what is the orange thing on the table saw?
jorgemt62,
It's a "feather board". The little fins you see provide a springy push to hold the work piece against the rip fence.
Good to know. Thanks for sharing !
Which router machine are you using?
Es roster el que utiliza?
Hi..im.jun frm ph..i like d router bet just u use..but how wer can i purchased like dat bet..

What type of wood in this video?

Yes it looks like oak but it seems to have a figure like curly pattern. Never seem that before. Is this some special wood you bought somewhere?
It's Curly Oak, I bought it on Lumber Yard, but not so much, I was lucky
