I feel like the new Moraug would fit incredibly well in this deck. Extra combats to trigger extra Vaevictis triggers and you have a good chance of hitting a land off of the trigger which would give you an extra combat again.
I believe you're referring to the Woodfall Primus and Mikaeus combo. Looking at this again, I think you're right. The combo still works however. I'm no rules expert but I think it works like this: The creature with both persist and undying, in this case Woodfall Primus, dies and both the persist and undying triggers go on the stack at the same time. We choose which one resolves first. So if the undying trigger resolves first, the creature returns with a +1/+1 counter and when the persist trigger resolves, the game realizes the creature is no longer in the graveyard and therefore the ability fizzles. Then, when we sac it again, this time we'll have the persist trigger resolve first, so now it will come back with a -1/-1 counter. And then rinse and repeat. Hopefully that made sense.. lol

No question! If I pull Moraug in my box I will have to try it out. Thanks for the comment!
Good deck tech. Looks fun
Thank you! I think it's a really fun deck!
@@themanafix do you do suggested deck techs?
@@DonkiesRumps I'll do my best. What did you have in mind?
@@themanafix heres a challenge for you. What about izzet chaos?
Love to see the deck in action
I don’t think the counters cancel each other out. They are still there it just doesn’t change the power and toughness

Awesome video!!
really good video
I really enjoy my Vaevictis deck, but I have it built where it's consistency is much, much less than your build haha.
Made some changes.
Have you tried ugin‘s nexus?
Wow! Nice suggestion. I haven't but I might have to give that card a try..
