- Todd asks for and gets Mom to come up to play Jingle Ball. After she is up he’s not really into it and seem more he just wants her upstairs.
Todd is a 6-year-old neutered male cat at the time of this video. Todd and his dad have been learning to communicate with each other since May of 2022 with the help of recordable buttons. We aim to let Todd express himself and tell me his wants and needs. Currently, Todd has 51 words on his soundboard. This channel is dedicated to Todd learning to “talk”. It was just a ploy to get the family together in the nest so he could lie at mom's feet for belly rubs and stare at Glamour in her box.

Mine do. They keep me on schedule. And they show up to tell me about it when I'm off schedule. Part of the schedule is they like family time together on the couch. Maybe Todd wants family time?
He does enjoy it when we are all together.
Maybe after you've been away for a week Todd gets extra used to Mom being his back-up hooman and now you're back, he just wants all his people in the same room so he can admire both of you at the same time. Thanks for coming up Mom!

That was really the Todd and Tink show, with Glamour the co star! She first tried to prevent Mom from being on the stairs, but then when Mom sate down, she seemed to want to patrol events.She got in and out of her box several times, got up behind Mom’s chair and generally seemed ok with Mom, maybe because Mom was playing with Todd and not so much with Dad?
Who knows what goes on with our kitties? They have their moods just like us, one day very jealous, very playful and other days like today kinda mellow with both Mom and Dad. Gotta love them!

I haven’t seen anyone else suggest this… I wonder if Todd wanted Mom to watch him play jingle ball with dad. When dad threw it back in the room he had lots of energy and came flying after the ball. Maybe he wanted a cheering section?

What we learned today is the Kittys are much more lenient with dad with pets than mom,lol Overall it is a kitty dad household.
IT also can be I don't reach in and rub his belly, although i can most of the time. I do it after he has told me he wants his belly rubbed.

Umm two things come to mind, first, Todd just wanted some family time with mum & dad ❤, or second, was this a little payback for his ouch back curtesy of Glamour … I believe Glamour does not like mum upstairs, could this be because she doesn’t like to share mum? If so, is this just a little ‘if I ask it happens’ from Todd to Glamour, a little power move, so to speak 🤣 I could be overthinking things but he is a cat 🤷♀😫😜😂
Glamour does not like mom upstairs but it is because she does not want to share Dad. Dad belongs to her and she does not like that other woman talking to him or being around him.

Glamour is a major Dive and yes, Todd loves it when we are all together. Yes, Todd has an all-done button. He uses it to give me hits I should be all done with what I am doing so I can play more and also when he's done playing with a battery-operated toy so I can turn it off.
