I don't know if it's just me, but I think since you've upped your video resolution to 4K you also need to up your bit rate. I see A LOT of compression artifacting on my end.
Hey I would switch the location of the tv and the black shelves. Then the couch will be straight and will a more cosy feeling by dividing the room into two zones.
That works... but my shelf/bookcase OCD tells me that having the shelves (which have no back wall) against the smooth cinder block wall is better than having them backing onto covered windows; I suggested a video or two ago a more complete blocking of those windows for the color integrity of the LEGO in the parts drawers, and if you're going to move the shelves to that corner, you'll definitely want to block off those windows more fully because of the possibility of fading of the boxes facing the window.
i don't think there is any other Lego ambassador with this level of dedication to his passion.getting a big warehouse/studio must be a first in the lego universe .lego should and must consider you as their best ambassador and give you all set release as well as all the pieces you want for you MOC.that is impressive and inspiring.i start collecting and building lego because of those vlog.never give up and go higher man!
Yes the guy in Germany is making a Lego museum..as far as scratch building he is probably the best I have seen ..that being said Jordan moc building is great and I find his videos much more watchable and the rate and concistantcy he is able to post videos is amazing
You could always hook the camera up to the 4k beast before you leave for the day and use remote access software like Teamviewer or Anydesk to access it from home and edit remotely.
Love seeing all this go in! Yes! Side note. The 4K video has a lot of shuddering and artifacts in it, especially when you’re moving. Might be a bit rate thing or something but only noticed in this video today for the first time. Cheers dude!
@bricksie I suspect the quality might be set to automatic in davinci resolve - usually better to have it set to restrict, for 4k mine is set to restrict to 80,000 and it got rid of the artefects from my DJI (though mine is the pocket 2). Could be wrong though!

A wall of Lego boxes with the black shelves actually looks really good. Imo the black shelves kinda disappears because the colorful boxes pop out so much.
Bricksie, I’d highly recommend getting an air fryer for the studio. You can buy frozen chicken, fries you name it. Then put them in the air fryer and you won’t be worrying about what to eat. By the way the studio looks great 😊 -Sebastien
I never comment, but I've been following you for a couple years. Just wanted to say the studio looks great. The only question I would have is, have you thought about leaving the kitchenette area uncarpeted? It would be easier for cleanup of any potential spills.
Hey man! What you've done is incredible, mad props to creating this studio. For the predicament where you have 1 computer to render 4k, use Teamviewer and Dropbox or similar software to A. allow you to remote into your computer in the studio to edit through a remote session, B. Dropbox to get your files onto your PC remotely. Also, your windows upstairs at the studio give me anxiety. The sun is a powerful thing obviously. As it stands I'm pretty confident your lego in front of the windows will get sun bleached. May want to put an extra covering over what you have now to rule out the risk of damaging the precious lego!!!

Not being able to edit at home seems like a miss…this 4K transition has just been one wrong move after the next. You really need to slow down and be more intentional. You said it yourself - you just like to get on and do things - but sometimes you’ll be far better off going a little slower.
A big table for sitting in the tiled area downstairs next to the stairs would be good. And a small kitchenette for drinks would work also. An in-between area if you are working on city, would work as a workstation and transition area and closer for washing kitchenware.
How about swapping the locations of the tv and the computer workstation. Then sit where the tv is now facing the stairs. The sofa facing the new tv position. This will let you see all things at all times.

I feel like there needs to be a big table for builds right in the middle of the floor as kind of a focal point. And the couch looks a bit awkward their to me. If you break the black shelves in half and line that wall with half size shelving you could put the TV on top and visually it would look similar to the railing shelving to look more cohesive.
I recommend some "sticky stuff remover" for the sticky tabs on the TV tables all you need to do is pour some on and a few seconds later you can easily wipe off the sticky glue but I'm not sure if it'll take off the paint work because it gives off a lot of strong fumes (use sparingly) also it smells like paint stripper so be careful
Love to see the move coming along well. I just hope nothing else will move until the Lego City is in place so that you can use the display rooms to store the builds until the tables are in place.
Do you have security at the new studio? I would highly recommend that you get a security system and cameras installed, as you won't be there 24/7. You should also look at getting a centralized storage solution for your footage. Something like a NAS would prob work good for you, you could also set it up with secure remote access via a private VPN, that way you can remotely access your systems from the office at home. There is a lot of things you could do to streamline your editing flow too. Part of it is your just going to have to get used to having "Work" hours and home hours. Kind of different when ya don't work from home anymore lol! One thing you could do is push your VLog content out a day. Like record a full day, in the am edit that footage and upload while you film the next days content. Also don't mount the TV up high, like ya said that just breaks your neck lol! One of my big pet peves when people mount their TVs high. The one thing I would suggest too when building out a space, don't go crazy all at once. You are in your space now, and you will be for time to come. Some things are staples you need to get, but other stuff can come in due time. Take your time make sure its how you want things set up. I always regret when I make rush decisions/purchases lol.
Since ive started to get into thrifting, idk if ill ever pay for brand new furniture again. You save so much money on pre-owned stuff. $1000 for a couch is insane to me
funny setup bro, I suggest 1. the TV goes on the wall on top of your computer screen, 2. your black shelf with seal set move it to the corner next to the door (where the TV was) 3. put 2 or 3 small table (table for the TV) 2-3 meters away behind your computer chair then the sofa after it (make a straight line furniture) 4. use your standing table and put it where the black shelf was for filming 5. get a small side table next to the sofa for drinks and snacks
Loving the content so far but as others have stated you might need to invest into your IT infrastructure(the desktop is actually a very small part of it). EG it's perfectly feasible to use the same backend for editing frol different locations. Wishing you the best
Hey buddy, I think you should move your Lego storage bins to a wall where there are no windows, because even though they are covered, some of the light is still going through, and parts may yellow with time.

I like the new couch and for tables upstairs i would add three or four static tables that are as high as the rolling one so you can transfer stuff from the rolling table to a bigger building space.
You can keep editing at the studio, but you can connect to your studio computer to your home computer and have access to the editing software, or anything else on the studio network. There are ways to remotely connect securely from anywhere to your studio.
I swear if I were to visit that place and if I see some certain un-open boxes. I be asking if I can buy one of those, or just have a look at them close. I be a happy buy. But looking great dude ^^
Regarding the sofas... how long will those individual couch cushions hold their shape before they start looking distorted and no long line up nicely. (Speaking from experience)
Those Alex drawers are heavy - we got a desk using those drawer units and I had to open the boxes and move them piece by piece to where I wanted to assemble it, but they are worth it, though because the drawers are pretty solid - I've brought flat pack furniture from other places and nothing compares to Ikea's stuff. I'd do the whole house in their stuff if we could afford it (and all the current non-Ikea stuff was falling apart and needed replacing.)

I know your not an apple fan but i use my m1 pro chip laptop and hook it up to an external monitor so i can have dual monitors, be like a desktop but still have portability. Idk if theres a pc laptop that is similar, but i know the newer apple chips can all handle 4k easily...

Put wheels on the sit stand desk, it will make repositioning it much easier

Can you remote into your work computer? You could render, go home, remote in, and upload that way.
